Hey Boat Guy. Really enjoy your restoration videos. I see you haven't posted in a while...life happens. Still have more old stuff to go through, loving it.
I have to say, that I really enjoy watching what you do what most people wouldn’t touch with A12’ boat hook! I know that you never mention how much you ask for any of the crafts that you bring back to life, but It would make the “Wow” factor for me, reach the top? I’m up in the great white North of Toronto Ontario, Canada, we’re our boating weather is definitely restricted, so we try to make the most of it when we can. I’m retired now, and turn 65 in February, and I’m always tinkering with this and that. Watching you with the small engines is really helpful. I want to thank you for your videos and the time that you take to do them for us! Mark Dougherty Toronto, Ontario
The next one should be trash to cash cuz you know you make a killing getting these good deals and putting some quality work into em not to mention the UA-cam views keep it up💪
That is awesome! You've inspired me to get my own budget build fishing boat. Got all the bits, just need to get the motor running (fired when I bought it after sitting for a decade, now just need to clean the carb so it will keep running).
I saw this posted in Marketplace and messaged the lady. Unfortunately I had to work when she was available. I'm glad you got it! She was selling it cheap!
I got lucky and bought a Craig Cat from a retired couple that just bought a new boat. They sold it to me for 900 and it was almost Mint condition. It was garaged and covered and ram every summer. They said at their age they wanted a normal boat. They bought a used Weldcraft Cuddy King 260 with twin Yamaha outboards which is an incredible upgrade. I got to go for a ride in it. Now I want one. I can't even afford one. Maybe when I retire I could. Definitely not now. lol
Kudos to you for a $500 windfall. I have been to the Orlando Florida factory and seen the prices on these brand new which will make your head spin for such a small boat congradulations!!
Man that's such a cool little boat!! And for 500 bucks, you stole it!! I would hate to guess what that motor is worth. Great job and very little work and time put into it. First time seeing your videos. I'll be back. Stay safe. Semper Fi.
very nice find and great job cleaning her up. So cool to see you going under the Bay Pines Pinellas Trail. I have to ask....what are the side platforms? They look like little fish cleaning tables. Cheers Dude!
@@MillsMagicFishingLures for real, man. I've searched all over where I am, and can't find deals anywhere close to this. Usually people want 10k for absolute trash
That's awesome man! I didn't know you were in the Tampa bay area? Just noticed you were near war veterans memorial and went up through the pinellas trail. Big big snook back there right now!
Love the Craig cat was looking for one for me and my 12 year old son but no luck. Awesome job came out beautiful really enjoyed the video have a good day and stay safe Jimmy from Massachusetts
Hi, new viewer, love the channel. Thank you for these. Was hoping you could advise me on the size of a kicker motor for a 16 foot Credtliner aluminum with some weight in it. I was thinking of getting a 2.3, but was wondering, in your experience, would a little bit more horsepower be better? The kicker motor would just be for emergency use if the main fails. I have an electric trolling motor. Also while I have you can you please do more videos on kicker motors, and perhaps restore a couple? Thanks again
That is EXACTLY what I need where I'm at.. You could take that damn near ANYWHERE..! I can't BELIEVE u only paid $500.. That motor would sell here used for bout $1,500 +, and the whole thing bout $3,500-$4,000 cleaned up....
Hey i have a question, want app do you use to measure your speed on the boat because is have a boat to and i don’t know how fast it goes and i want to know how fast it can go
Hopefully I used the affiliate link right. I’ve been eyeing that pressure washer, hopefully you get a little throwback for it. Keep up the great content.
Just worked on one of those at my shop. Had to replace the steering system and patch the back of the boat where the prop on the etec outboard hit the back
boat listings in my area are super high right now. people asking $15,000 - $20,000 for boats you could have gotten for like $10,000 a couple years ago. We got Farmers field specials goin for 5k!!
I have an older SeaArk 2072 aluminum boat. The outside paint on the hull is fading. Would you recommend anything other than aluminum restorer to clean the outside of it?
Watching you sort these engines and boats out so well never gets old.

Great job as usual! I love seeing you turn these crap non-runners into mint condition! You're a miracle worker. Keep up these types of videos!

Waverunner. I personally like regular boats,so I don't get wet. Good purchase and restoration.
Enjoy it. Be safe
Highlight of my week seeing your new video come up. Thank You
awesome job boat guy! i wish you posted how much you were selling your stuff for or where we can buy your finished products?

She had a lot of people interested
@@ThatBoatGuy I saw a video where you and some friends were at a sand bar. It was beautiful. Where was that at?
I envy you so much this time of year, cause I watch these from Alaska!
I love everything about these videos, from removing te dirt to reviving the engine
That is just an inspiring example of renewing a craft.

It would be neat to have the throttle/FNR lever in between the seats too so you could control the boat from either seat. Great job man!
The lower unit montage was dope and totally new for you afaik. Nicely done!
You find all the good shit!
You ROCKED 🪨 that boat!
Dude awesome video man. Every time I see a boat covered in pollen I just want to rescue it now
Great boat for the bay, not really the gulf but it will handle. My buddy had one & we would launch in Destin & end up in Pensacola.
What a deal! I liked those when they first came out. I'd own one. Would've been awesome if they made a 4 seater version.
Damn $500, the motor is worth all of that and then some. She really cleaned up nice. How do you find these diamonds in the rough.
Gotta constantly keep an eye on Craigslist, fb market. I have a hard time finding boat deals because I live in the same area as this guy lol
Florida
trailer is worth 500, motor 2 grand, boat 1 grand. that all day long. as an outfit this would never be just 500.. sounds like bullshit to me.
Great to see you back at it. How do you come upon these great deals. Great rebuild.
It's nice to know what type of boats your buying and working on as sometimes we can't hear you. Or maybe put in the description thanks
Love these videos, watch all of em... you could fix those motors blind- folded

I love the clean up and fixing process. 👍🏻
Harbor Freight grey ammo dry box, $6, just as good as the Plano’s. Nicely done bringing that boat back to life 👍

Great little backcountry fishing boat!
Huge fan of the channel, but I wish you'd go more in-depth on the repairs you make. What spray did you use to clean it with?
Great vid. I love your overall knowledge of everything boat realated.
That lil thing is perfect for the back country.
I love your Videos.
What cleaning product do you use to clean the dirt and mold off the boats you restore?
Thanks

Looks like a lot of fun! Great Video!
Awesome m8 love this channel
Had a customer with one of those we affectionately called "the flying lawn chair".
That cat with a jet drive lower unit would unstoppable in shallow water sand flats or river head waters
Thanks for the content, are the pontoons made out of fiberglass? Don't know what they cost new, but that would be a good flip project.
I have been watching you for the last year and a half
Those little Craig cats look like a cheap way to have a real good time
I’ve seen them sell for close to $5000, so not always cheap. But they are fun and great little fishing boats.
Orange looks better than the white as you already had so much white great job Boat guy
Dude I’m digging that music in the background!
