Sadly, rape, murder, robbery, and arson are still criminalized, and there remains a $20,000 reward for the many unsolved incidents in my area of the world. Some day, when our society has evolved past the need to cling to outmoded Biblical values, I'll go on national TV and discuss my errors publicly

    As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized mindfulness is key. It’s important to remind yourself every day, every hour, to behave mindfully and respectfully. Pause before answering questions. Breathe before you get emotionally upset. Take a walk every day and spend time taking care of your physical and mental health. Make yourself hard to access unless people earn it. These lessons come with experience and age but watching these lessons helps reinforce those lessons. Thank you Anna.

      World needs more moms like you. In parents WhatsApp group I often get headache reading texts from other parents who seem to never get exposed to printed materials when they (we) were growing up. Which is understandable since during 80-90's purchasing printed material in my country was still considered a luxury for many families. Plus libraries were not advertised much. However I think it's still important for parents to upgrade ourselves, take advantage of easy access to every knowledge and skill the internet provides, not to take for granted whatever our childhood shaped us. Kids mirror their parents

    Anna, thank you for addressing proper texting etiquette. Its truly sad that proper decorum is being lost because it is viewed as “old fashioned”. Anna, thank you so much for your videos and advice. I live in NYC, born and raised. I'm a city gal but hate the crowds. When you talked about getting in line (queue) I remember back to my first time in Paris. Everyone on the metro was polite, even though it was very crowded. I describe it as a beautiful dance. People slipping past others in a graceful manner. In NYC, it s a full on contact sport. People (men and women) derive great joy from pushing and hitting others and excuse it as "it's crowded, what are you going to do? 🤷🏾‍♀️". I've had plenty of men full on body check me. I dont wait in line for anything, not the store, not the train, bus, airport, nothing. I always hang back, let people fight, push, get aggravated then I step on. Or I wait for the next train, there is always another train. When I fly, I sit far from my gate and watch with great bemusement the people anxiously lining up around the check in counter, jumping to get in line first, to stand around and wait. My seat is confirmed and only I can sit in it. I'm the last person to board and because of this I get my bag checked for free 😎. When we land, I smile as everyone is jumping up to just stand there. Lol. I'm the last to leave, my luggage is waiting for me and I enjoy a nice peaceful walk.
    My peace is priceless.

      @@kounelitsa whilst I’m not the tagged recipient I thought I may be able to help a little, at least on the lounge/bedding end. Lilysilks quality I find, depends on the item. I have a few pieces of the 22momme weight pajamas, years later still in amazing condition. Most of the pajama/ slip camisoles have a 1cm seam allowance if you need to let it out a little, but always size up. Also check that the silk is on both the front and back facing panels as images can be a little deceptive. I love the delux nightcap, not the other versions of their bonnets though (no lining unfortunately), although it looses breathability after a while. Unlike slipsilk, their pillowcases don’t tear or fade easy, but would recommend the zipper version, as the envelope version kept sliding off my pillow lol. They also have in cart offers worth checking out, so in the ‘view your cart’ section after adding an item they often have opportunities to buy reduced cost items to try like a $10 silk large eye mask that is 💯 worth it

    Don’t keep your hair without washing for too long just because you’re going to have it professionally washed at your next hairdresser appointment.
    Shower right before going to get a massage or body treatment and if you think you’re gonna get there all sweaty consider if you can freshen up there or choose a more convenient time.

    Dirty phone cases and earphones.
    It shows your hands are dirty (even if you wash them because you're constantly holding a dirty phone) and you don't take care of your hygiene (because people can see the earwax on your earphones) and that gives a very strong impression you're overall dirty.

    I think that even if you “can hold your alcohol” and you’re able to drink a lot without getting messy, you still shouldn’t drink more than 4 drinks in a night. Even if it doesn’t affect your behaviour, it still seems pointless to have more than 4 drinks. I think it is better to have one or two drinks, and then order non-alcoholic cocktails after that, to show that you have restraint and also that you value self care and taking good care of the health of your mind and body. Alcohol does damage to your organs over time no matter how well you think you can hold your liquor

    • @mojsamsunggs2
      @mojsamsunggs2 2 роки тому +13

      This! The healthiest amount of alcohol, according to the newest research, is none. Anna suggested that you should smoke discreetly, if you must do it, I think it's a little similar with alcohol - by having moderation, you set an example for other people and show you care about your well-being and those who accompany you, for whom you can only be present if you aren't incapacitated. Plus, your alcohol tolerance may vary depending on how tired you are, how much you've eaten on a given day etc. Of course nobody's perfect and classy all the time but if we're talking about classy behaviour, that's my opinion :)

      I would agree. treating the people who help you get through your day easier or just are trying to do their jobs deserve respect too. even if they have an attitude some one with grace poise and true elegance does get down to their level of petty. the other day a woman was treating me badly for me not bending the rules that could get me fired . I was polite and cordial with her and told her I wasn't about lose my job over bending the rules because of company policy and my boss even explained it was for auditing purposes. . she got what she wanted I got her in and out of the store . She could have been more polite however , I'm surprised she did well in business at all.

    My nan always told me to never borrow money and never be late for an appointment or meeting. Also taught myself and my siblings proper table manners. Keep elbows off the table, never talk with your mouth full (or at all when at the table), put cutlery down in between mouthfuls, chew your food and don't bolt it down. I instilled good manners in my daughter and a judge once praised me for raising a lovely young lady (my daughter was assaulted by her Anorexia counsellor, not involved in a crime herself).

    Some of the best advice I ever received once my favourite perfume was discontinued (Cool by Ralph Lauren 😭...why!), was to consider your diet, and the region of the world in which it is popular. Often times, popular perfumes in these regions will work well with the scent that your skin produces based on your diet. Whilst I don’t quite understand all the science behind diet, I am aware that it’s a little more complicated, and you don’t smell like blueberries just because you eat them lol. Although if you haven’t quite yet found your signature scent(s), or for some very strange reason the brand discontinues your favourite one, It’s a lot of fun to explore perfumes in other regions of the world when you’re looking for something the best compliments you 🌸😊🌸...

    I had that toxic relationship, where I was obsessed, sitting and waiting for his call etc. It lasted 5 years, he also used to manipulate me, cheated on me and after all that I found my selfconfidence and from day to day cut off the contact and guess what? He got lost, bombed me with calls (like 36 per hour - he was blocked everywhere but it showed he tried to call), tried to contact me desperately... So far I know he became an alcoholic, living with one of his "friends with benefits" that he even did not like and yeah... A little bit sad but I'm lucky I made that decision, I opened my eyes and moved on
