The problem when you start listening to Iron Maiden is that you don't know when we're going to finish. I started in 1984 and haven't stopped. Great reaction.
I started in 1983 with the song:twilight zone. A revelation, I never heard something like that before 1983. In France at the radio ,they was never heavy metal or just sometimes, "hells bells" from AC DC. After I'd buy the first album of iron maiden, a second revelation! Killers, the number, the great piece of mind, powerslave, heu... somewhere in time, seven son of a seven son... After those album I stopped.I needed something more metal, like annihilator. Today I like to listen all these albums. I think the voice of Bruce is more just in studio like on scene sometime. Did this girl listen the version studio of this song? My anglish is it correct? The new generation seems to like Iron Maiden, I like that😜🤟
Bruce is a great vocalist, and a legend for overcoming his own throat cancer and polyps problems in years gone by, and he can still sing like he does is truly amazing! 💪👏👏👏🇦🇺
I am a fifty-five-year-old classically-trained musician who also has played guitar for 40 years and I'm really enjoying watching your reactions to this stuff because it brings me back to when I first discovered the stuff when it first came out in the 80s and 90s. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Once again you have touched me very much with your reaction, young lady. I have listened to Heavy Metal since my adolescence around 1980 and back in my days, Heavy Metal was demonized by older people and classical musicians. Inside me, I always knew that quality Metal like Iron Maiden was of incalculable cultural and musical value and that is why it gives me so much emotion to know that in your generation there are many people who know how to accept and appreciate the good without prejudice and that is wonderful. I congratulate you enormously for this and also for the brilliant analysis you have done of every aspect and details. You are very valuable for music 🔥❤🙌👏👏👏
I love how your an opera singer but yet love Iron Maiden and trully appreciate them , back in my day Iron Maiden was evil to most parents and stuffy people , where trully there magical and there stories are amazing . I love these guys , and the thing is there still rocking on today and his voice is still good. Thank you for spreading the love for these guys.
As a guitarist, I personally find it kind of hard to come up with a catchy melody, but Iron Maiden are really good at coming up with creative melodies!!
In 2019 Iron Maiden came to my area, my daughter and I went to them, we had an awesome time, she is a Iron Maiden fan and wears Iron Maiden and Metallica shirts to school, she is a honor student going to college in the fall on scholarship.
Great reaction, been a Maiden fan for 30 yrs now and they are a great part of my life. Bruce is an amazing dude, an exceptional voice. Why not make a Maiden cover, you seem to have a great voice yourself, keep it up!
The first time I heard Iron Maiden I was 13 years old. It was far from me to understand the language that I later began to study. The first song I heard is called Rime of the Ancient Mariner. It's on the Powerslave album from 1984 (like a dystopia written by George Orwell). I saw the album cover and even though I didn't understand the lyrics; the music pierced my heart. It was love at first listen. Thank you for analyzing the songs of this great band. Regards, talented young lady.
I knew when I saw which video you picked that you would appreciate the costume, being an Opera singer. Come on! Who doesn't love a good theatrical performance and Bruce's vocals are on point!
When it comes to great singers and metal bands such as Bruce Dickinson with his medieval-like vocals, he doesn't just sing the songs. He's a storyteller. In this case, I just love a song that tells a good ghost story. Please react to Iron maiden - *stranger in a strange Land* please! 😎
Also one thing that is not noted so often and quite underrated is how Bruce can shut up a crowd of tens of thousands of people to the point where you can hear a pin drop, because everyone clings to his every word and move. At a f*cking metal concert.
I saw them live at the Long Beach Sports arena on The early mid eighties when I was a kid when they recorded it for their live album Live After Death. I suggest you listen to The Rhine of the Ancient Mariner from that recording, it’ll blow your mind!
Loved the reaction. Your comments are coming from a point of joy and knowledge. I have no doubt that if you keep doing them, you'll develop a Hugh following
I don't know if there are any live videos of it, but "Empire of the Clouds" is really awesome as far as story telling. It's about the true events of the airship R101, which has a similar tale like that of the Titanic, (except in the form of an airship) in that it went down during it's first ever flight.
Iron Maidens catalogue is massive. Hoping you get to the first few albums. The first two have a different singer, but the tracks are a must when listening to Maiden. Like AC/ DC had a different singer on their first few albums and are definitely a must listen when going on the journey of their massive catalogue. One of my Maiden faves is Revelations with Bruce or any song off of the first two albums with Paul Diablo as lead singer. More of a punk sound mixed with metal. Great reaction as usual . Opeth: Ghost of Perdition: Live at Red Rock Amphitheater NeObliviscaris: Forget Not Judas Priest: Dreamer Deceiver/ Deceiver : Album version Megadeth: Ashes In Your Mouth or This Was My Life
Ah yes, the Iron Maiden rabbit hole. I’d say that the version of this from the En Vivo! concert is better. On that note you should really react to The Talisman from that same concert. Bruce is otherworldly on that performance. Great reaction!
Mi idolo en la tierra, dickinson, le gano a cancer de lengua, profesor de historia, piloto de aviones comerciales, esgrista, da charlas de emprendimiento comerciales por el.mundo, un ejemplo!!!!.
Believe me the Haunted House got it from this band....as so more many things were used from this band (shame they didn't realise what they were opening they could have been billionaires by now) easily. Not that I think they care as long as their fans love them, that's were they get their energy from.
the disclaimer made me stop and look elsewhere, don't apologise for your honest reaction, , you don't ever need to explain yourself to a stranger when you react to something you never heard or have seen before

Steve Harris writes most of the songs for Iron Maiden. He's the Bassist and founder.
