Bruce is a polymath. He's a pilot, an author, a DJ, an olympic level fencer, a businessman, an actor, a beer brewer, and oh yes, the singer for Iron Maiden.
I just wanted to say that i just discovered your channel today, and that it makes me so happy to see a young individual, training in an entirely different genre of music, show such enthusiasm for a band that I have listened to for almost 50 years. I have watched a few of your reactions this morning, and just wanted to to let you know that what you are doing is appreciated. Thank you!
At first i wasn't sure that Iron Maiden had been making music for almost 50 years - the default setting in my brain for some reason is 40 years - but you are right ( i had to look it up) - that really is amazing - 50 years - thanks for pointing that out.
Iron Maiden are the ultimate story tellers. Every song is a story, adventure, or history lesson. So much to discover for you should you continue your journey.
They're the only band I've ever heard make a song about the Crimean War. I love a band called Sabaton, that only makes songs about military history, but even so Iron Maiden is the only band to address the Crimean War. I've seen it live. I give them considerable credit for that.
If you haven't seen any of the "Rock In Rio" concerts, its indescribable. Hundreds of thousands of people. People literally start crying when they come out on stage and it is such an incredible event, you just have to see it to believe it. I couldn't even imagine being there live but there are some great full concert videos on UA-cam you really need to watch!!!
Glad to see you are enjoying Iron Maiden!! It is definitely an experience to see them live, you should check them out on their next tour. I have seen them nearly 20 times most recently last year, they never disappoint. I was even lucky enough to hang out with them backstage after a show in 1991. Got a few pictures and Nicko signed a drum stick for me. He also told jokes...lol. They were really down to earth guys that really appreciate the fans. That is why all these years later they still have a massive following despite getting ZERO airplay. UP THE IRONS!!!
Agree. If there is one band to see live this is the one. They were never really on my radar in the 80s. I had friends who listened but I was more into the 60s/70s at the time. It wasn't until my son was in his teens and picked up un them that I really took an interest. We took him to see Maiden and I was blown away. Their energy on stage puts any younger band to shame. We've seen them 3 times now and never left disappointed. I read recently that Maiden was one of the few ,if not the only, band from their Era and genre to make it big without help from radio or other media sources. Still going strong. Impressive!
Bruce and the boys do it again, as always. I agree he is so animated onstage, God knows how he does it. Naturally blessed with tremendous energy. And it’s so amazing to hear that gigantic crowd actually sing the guitar line, before the vocals even come in. What a show, what a band.
The band is much older in this video but they still sound great! The South American crowds are awesome singing along to the guitar riffs. Keep up the great reactions. Love your channel Aaliyah!
When I was younger, I was not a fan of Iron Maiden. Then my parents took me to see them live, been a fan since then. They are meant to be seen and heard live. :)
It's interesting to hear you compare Rush and Iron Maiden live. I've been to live performances by both bands, and I appreciated them for very different reasons. Rush stuck very close to their studio versions, and I loved that. Iron Maiden brought an entirely different energy to their live appearances (I watched them just last year in San Diego, if you're interested) and I loved that too.
I saw their show in Recife Brasil for this tour. I'm glad i did, because they are never doing a tour playing only the classics again. It was unforgettable.
In Iron Maiden concerts it's tradition for the crowd to sing several guitar parts, one of the best crowds no matter where you go. Last year I saw them in Zurich and we were many singing even the guitar intros of the trooper and the fast part of aces high 😁
One of the greatest things about Iron Maiden is about how high quality the sound is from their live performances videos. Instruments, voice and public are clean.
I really love the fact that you come from such a traditional background, people who might just look down their nose and make fun of metal but you seem to enjoy it and I'm really glad!!
That leafy, ghillie outfit was so cool. He's taken the top off by the time this was recorded but it was sick with the top and mask. Also I'm jealous that South and Central America loves this band more. They know all the words and show up in numbers, respect.
God bless you, sister. You are a beatiful person, and I love your reactions. Greetings from the neighbour country of Argentina, Chile!!!!! Much love and hapiness in your live ♥️
I have watched a ton of your videos, and it’s awesome to see how much you have grown being comfortable in front of the camera. It’s great to see you sharing your thoughts and expressing your opinion. Keep up the great work, and thank you for the wonderful reactions. All the best!
Iron Maiden did their longest song called Empire of the Clouds which is based on the true story of the crash of British airship R101. The song features Bruce on piano (yes piano) and it was meant to be a theather piece. It is a musical roller coast. It has never been performed live and it is off their Book of Souls album.
Well that's a sure thing now. You always get me so excited reacting to good Heavy Metal. In this special case, the emotion is heightened for me because I was there, at that concert in March 2008, and the climate that was generated is exactly what you just felt. You are honestly a genius in all your analysis and also in how you enjoy it. You are very talented. I congratulate you again! Greetings from Argentina! 🔥❤🙌👏👏👏
Bruce is an imperfect opera singer. The rest of the band is an orchestra with nothing but guitar drums and bass. That's literally the mentality with which they write most of their songs.
Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden has a great voice and he teamed up Richie Kotzen during the Covid pandemic to do an album. Adrian has a soulful voice and Richie sounds like Chris Cornell of Sound Garden
There are a few things everyone should do in this life before biting the dust. One if those things is experiencing singing the chorus for Fear of the Dark with a few thousand others at a Maiden show. I did that for the first time last year and I still have no words to describe how it felt.
Absolutely love your reactions and that innocent smile. This song fear of the dark is a masterpiece.. I've seen them LIVE in concert 9 times.. And every single time they played this song... Because almost every line the crowd sings along.... It's a great song... Aaliyah you should Google it's lyrics they are amazing too..
I found you today and I'm really enjoying you watching Iron Maiden. You see for me there's no Band better than them.. I listen to other music, too, but this band... especially Bruce I mean they're fucking God's all of them and they're getting along so well. Next month I will finally see them live and I will enjoy every single moment and probably I will cry the whole night 😂😂 Everytime I listen to a song of them, I can see Pictures in my head of what Bruce is telling me with this song and it makes feel like I'm in another world experiencing all the things happening in the song. I want to see them as long as they still go on tours 😂 And you need to google some facts about Bruce, because it makes him even cooler knowing what he did and can do 🙈 He even flew Iron Maiden's own plane, but I think not anymore. He's a Genius and I needed to tell this to all the great human beings reading my comment 😂 Maybe you think I'm overwhelmed, maybe I am a little, but true fans know what I mean. I can listen to them every day, they're so relaxing and energetic at the same time. I FUCKING LOVE THEM! 😂😂❤ And you need to listen to more songs of them :3 ❤😂
Aaliyah thanks so much for continuing react to Iron Maiden, You will not be disappointed I promise and I have one request that I hope you will consider to react to... It is The Clansman (Live in Rio)... Thank you in advance and please keep up the good work and stay safe.
Nice reaction! I love how involved the whole band is in this epic song! When the crowd sings, it’s awesome! I‘d love to watch you react to The Warning, three young sisters from Mexico who play modern hard rock, they all can sing and play the piano, write their stuff by themselves. Here is Martirio live, love the melodies and emotions! ua-cam.com/video/xxkPTKyiSqY/v-deo.html Thanks, greetings from Germany 👍⚡️🤘
Hello, Aaliyah! Great reaction, thank you! To hear more about the story of Bruce stories by singing and phenomenal gang, the most helps a reaction. The Talisman ( En Vivo!) [HD] version, Paschendale ( Death On the Road) HD version, Dance Of Death - En Vivo! version, The Clansman - Rock In Rio 2001 9/16 version, Rime of the Ancient Mariner [ Flight 666 DVD] HD version
Great reaction video. Please keep up the good work. It's always great if someone knows anything about music. You should definitely try Nightwish (live!).

Iron maiden truly one of the all time great bands 👌 I would love ❤ to see you react to Judas Priest and their song Dreamer Deceiver, Deceiver from the album Sad wings of destiny. The singer Rob Halford has a operatic voice and is considered the METAL god 😳 🙌

Rime of the Ancient Mariner from Flight 666 is amazing, top level storytelling. You won’t be disappointed.
YES! Alexander the Great, Powerslave, Dance of Death, The Trooper, Where Eagles Dare....and so on. I should just list the discography.
Thanks so much, i will check it out too
@@AaliyahCapili I agree with the guy saying Rime Of The Ancient Mariner and the Live After Death version is also great.
I agree. Rime of the ancient mariner is a masterpiece, perhaps one of the best metal songs!!!
I was at that show!!!!
What still amazes me about bruce after all these decades is how he manages to run around on a stage and keep his tone and breath.
Simply amazing
😍
My ex brother-in-law has interviewed Bruce several times and has commented on the abundance of energy he always has.
