What still amazes me about bruce after all these decades is how he manages to run around on a stage and keep his tone and breath.

My ex brother-in-law has interviewed Bruce several times and has commented on the abundance of energy he always has.
His most theatrical performance imo is the en vivo version of Dance of Death, very impressive!

If you haven't seen any of the "Rock In Rio" concerts, its indescribable. Hundreds of thousands of people. People literally start crying when they come out on stage and it is such an incredible event, you just have to see it to believe it. I couldn't even imagine being there live but there are some great full concert videos on UA-cam you really need to watch!!!

Then my parents took me to see them live, been a fan since then.

They're the only band I've ever heard make a song about the Crimean War. I love a band called Sabaton, that only makes songs about military history, but even so Iron Maiden is the only band to address the Crimean War. I've seen it live. I give them considerable credit for that.

Bruce and the boys do it again, as always. I agree he is so animated onstage, God knows how he does it. Naturally blessed with tremendous energy. And it’s so amazing to hear that gigantic crowd actually sing the guitar line, before the vocals even come in. What a show, what a band.

Glad to see you are enjoying Iron Maiden!! It is definitely an experience to see them live, you should check them out on their next tour. I have seen them nearly 20 times most recently last year, they never disappoint. I was even lucky enough to hang out with them backstage after a show in 1991. Got a few pictures and Nicko signed a drum stick for me. He also told jokes...lol. They were really down to earth guys that really appreciate the fans. That is why all these years later they still have a massive following despite getting ZERO airplay. UP THE IRONS!!!

Agree. If there is one band to see live this is the one. They were never really on my radar in the 80s. I had friends who listened but I was more into the 60s/70s at the time. It wasn't until my son was in his teens and picked up un them that I really took an interest. We took him to see Maiden and I was blown away. Their energy on stage puts any younger band to shame. We've seen them 3 times now and never left disappointed. I read recently that Maiden was one of the few ,if not the only, band from their Era and genre to make it big without help from radio or other media sources. Still going strong. Impressive!

In Iron Maiden concerts it's tradition for the crowd to sing several guitar parts, one of the best crowds no matter where you go.
Last year I saw them in Zurich and we were many singing even the guitar intros of the trooper and the fast part of aces high 😁

It's interesting to hear you compare Rush and Iron Maiden live. I've been to live performances by both bands, and I appreciated them for very different reasons. Rush stuck very close to their studio versions, and I loved that. Iron Maiden brought an entirely different energy to their live appearances (I watched them just last year in San Diego, if you're interested) and I loved that too.
If you love storytelling, Rime of the Ancient Mariner (Flight 666) or Dance of Death (En Vivo) Both are live shows. YOU WILL LOVE THEM

Iron Maiden did their longest song called Empire of the Clouds which is based on the true story of the crash of British airship R101. The song features Bruce on piano (yes piano) and it was meant to be a theather piece. It is a musical roller coast. It has never been performed live and it is off their Book of Souls album.

I found you today and I'm really enjoying you watching Iron Maiden. You see for me there's no Band better than them.. I listen to other music, too, but this band... especially Bruce I mean they're fucking God's all of them and they're getting along so well. Next month I will finally see them live and I will enjoy every single moment and probably I will cry the whole night 😂😂 Everytime I listen to a song of them, I can see Pictures in my head of what Bruce is telling me with this song and it makes feel like I'm in another world experiencing all the things happening in the song. I want to see them as long as they still go on tours 😂
And you need to google some facts about Bruce, because it makes him even cooler knowing what he did and can do 🙈 He even flew Iron Maiden's own plane, but I think not anymore. He's a Genius and I needed to tell this to all the great human beings reading my comment 😂 Maybe you think I'm overwhelmed, maybe I am a little, but true fans know what I mean.
