NO WAY! I've been waiting on this one and nearly gave up! Thank YOU and KURT! I really hoped you enjoyed the performance and stage show as much as you did the vocal performance. This makes me do my happy dance of death. Watching someone hear and see something for the first time that has given so many people joy is amazing. I'll never hear Dance of Death for the 1ist time again, but seeing someone else do so is more gratifying than the song itself. Did it invoke the same feeling when we first heard it, did we get excited, how did we feel after? Seeing someone go through that range is a gift we take for granted.
Just wait until the trailer gets uploaded. You are literally the reason I did this video. ;-)
I saw your last reply. Yes, 5,000 people voted and it's important to recognize everyone! But thank you!
I've requested this & Wasted Years in chat and comments ever since discovering TCV... can't tell you how excited I am to see Liz's reaction and thoughts on it! Dance of Death is one of Maiden's best recent works IMO.
@@TheCharismaticVoice You MUST react to "The Talisman" from the same concert
Thanks you man, for helping this hapen with your comment haha 😁
You really have to get Bruce for a teatime interview. I think the discussions between you two, particularly about the balance between story telling and music (given your background) would be awesome!
YES!!!! I would LOVE for you to interview Bruce!!!!
I agree. He is a great interview and Elizabeth and Bruce would be awesome
I couldn't agree more!!
For what I know, Bruce don't use social network, it could be difficult to contact him.
Agree, Bruce would be a great guest for her
Dickinson is great here but he is outstanding on the talisman from the same concert! React to this! Perfect for vocal coach!
One of the least recommended songs but his greatest performance, I would say. She should definitely hear this one!
Talisman from this show, dance of death from death on the road
The talisman would be PERFECT for her to listen too, a MONSTROUS performance
Indeed, he explores his full range and endurance in The Talisman. Frankly I was pleasantly surprised that they even played it live.
Yeah that was INHUMAN! But everything Bruce does is INHUMAN i am not expect less from a GOD!!!!!!! Suggested to her i think 3 times already!!!
“The Talisman” is a must listen. Possibly Bruce’s best vocal performance.
Just about to post that when I saw your comment. Also version from En Vivo of The Talisman, just brilliant
Seconded
That is the one song Bruce parks n barks on. Easily one of their best songs.
They really struck gold with janick gets who wrote that one and dance of death (among others)
The main reason I love maiden is because it always feels like a modern folk minstrel telling a tale or story of some far away land or legend, I always imagined Bruce as a modern day troubadour
Took the torch from Ian Anderson.
Some people sing. Bruce doesn't sing, he plays his voice like an instrument, an instrument he has mastered completely. An instrument he uses to tell wonderful, flavorful, rich stories. There are very few people who have the amount of presence, charisma, vocal control and range that Bruce has.
You could write that on stage he IS an instrument
That's the description of singing. Using your voice as an instrument.
Also, at this point Bruce's range is pretty much nothing.
According to bardic tradidion each element is represented by an instrument Earth by the drum
Air by the flute
Water by the harp
Fire is represented by the voice.
mmm, i dunno....his range is pretty small now, and he just shouts now. tyranny of souls was his best vocals on tape.
Bruce and Dio are/were masters
About the crowd involvement that you mentioned, a friend of mine once said: Iron Maiden is the only band where the crowd sing not only the chorus, not only the riff, but even the guitar solos
The audiences in the USA don't do this though. 🙁
The Green Day crowd at Hyde Park in London did every bit of the song from start to finish when Bohemian Rhapsody played over the sound system there. Worth a look for crowd involvement too. Bands like Maiden and Queen just bring out the magic in people.
@@Scottred77 I know what you are talking about in terms of the Green Day crowds singing along to Bohemian. I saw that video...it was very moving. What I am specifically mentioning is that US crowds do not "Sing along" to the instrumental portions of Maiden songs like they do in Europe and South America. For example, the first time I heard this Sing Along phenomenon was a live version of Fear of the Dark off of one of those Live Albums they put out in the mid 90s. I can't remember if it is on a Real Live One or a Real Dead One. That version was I believe recorded in South America and the crowd participation was phenomenal! Goosebump City! I picked up a different live album around the same time (maybe a bootleg??) that was recorded in the US with absolutely NO Crowd Participation on any of the songs including Fear of the Dark. I have heard this Crowd Participation several times since then for several songs (but especially Fear of the Dark) and they were all non-US based shows. I have also only had the pleasure of seeing Maiden in concert twice (Chicago and Indianapolis) with no crowd participation.
This recording Is from Chile concert, in southamerica everyone sing the whole music 😅 in Argentina even More.
Sometimes in Maiden show it's just live sing along happening.
Janick Gers is an insane guitarsit and can play the guitar in the weirdest positions. He loves the upright position and moves in a very yngwie malmsteen style. He's a maniac in general
I love janick , he's mental on stage. They were on fire at the O2 last Saturday
Janick Is magick, he's my favorite guitar player , in stage he , Bruce and Steve are the maiden's soul
I think Janick gets a bad rap, he's a very good guitarist but gets criticized because of his movements on stage.
Janick is my favourite guitarist of all time!!! Is insane master of guitar!!!
@@chuckm6592 Why Steve or Bruce never getting such criticism for moving around with various facial expressions? I really like how the members of Maiden enhance/cancel each-other out depending on POV. There are the more chill members like Dave and complete maniacs like Gers :)
The greatest band in the world. Nobody else comes close
I agree brother I've seen them so many times..only band that sounds better live than the record the number of the beast changed my life...cheers from Kansas city
En Vivo - Talisman probably Bruce's best live vocal performance of all times
yesssss
I agree
Terrific choice Elizabeth.
Next iron maiden should be the talisman from this same concert
Yes, the antithesis of this song, where Bruce actually doesn't move from his spot because it is so dificult to sing!
@@nocommentgaming5399 yes one of the best bruce ever

CLANSMAN
I know we’re all here to talk about Bruce, and even the guitar playing to a smaller extent; but can we give some Credit to Steve Harris (the bass player)? The guy is the absolute engine of that band and through the guitars and soaring vocals his power, passion, and prowess shine through. Thank you for all that you have given us Steve, we legitimately do not get Iron Maiden without you, and thank you The Charismatic Voice for giving us metal idiots a fresh take on the music we love ❤️
The only constant for the entirety of this band's existence. He is the driving force and main writer. Also his galloping bass is what gives Maiden the unique sound. UP THE IRONS!
I know that it's been 12 days, but this song has the lyrics for you:
ua-cam.com/video/I3npl36GWeg/v-deo.html
Enjoy.
steve is the heartbeat of the band, his bass lines are legendary, yet nothing fancy, and his passion and will to give it back to the people has no equal !
I'd love to see a collaboration with Steve Harris and Tuomas Holopainin......
Absolutely right. Steve Harris is the man.
The most underrated Mainden Album. So many masterpieces. Dance of Death, Paschendale, Journeyman, No More Lies, Face in the Sand...
It is a great album. I feel like Final Frontier is pretty underrated too. So many great songs.
Montsegur is also a banger ! It amazed me they would sing about a not so well known historical event of French History.
Terrible artwork, but a brilliant album.
It's a great album but you can really feel that lack of Derek Rigs on that awful album cover. (Derek is the painter who invented the Eddie character and made all those earlier iconic Maiden album covers.)
One of their "classic" unforgetable albums. Yup.
Guys, we did it. She is becoming a METALHEAD 🤘
Genuinely love how she breaks down everything. It's always a blessing to hear and see from a non-metal fan perspective.
Been a fan since her Nightwish reaction.
Edit : checked her Maiden playlist, it says "Up the irons". \m/ let's goo
AMEN!
It’s her husband not you
Well. Since she reacted the first metal song. I knew she loved metal. I considered she was both. A classical musician and a metal fan, pretending that never heard it.
To answer your question about Jannick's stance whilst playing his solo: it's definitely harder as he has to balance the guitar as well as having enough stability to hammer down and pull of the strings. In his case though, it has turned into sort of a trademark-stance for him, and having such a long career I'd guess for him it is quite easy.
Janick, like Slash and others, they position the guitar on one leg to support the weight and have the left hand run freely up and down the neck.
As a guitarist myself I think playing that way is hard but if u can play without looking it makes it easier
@@chrisjarkovsky1655 As a guitarist myself I find it easier with the neck raised up and you can still look the side of the fretboard. I find hard to play sitting down.
@@gkol69 I agree with you I prefer to stand and play
Jannick does the rule of cool and does it dam well
There will never be a band like Maiden, performance wise, the energy, the passion, just best band ever no one has this crowd everywhere they go just amazing ❤️
People used to say “Iron Maiden” is a religion in South America. I’m not sure about other countries, but in Brazil(my country), yes, yes it is.
For us, it doesn’t matter if they come out with a bad concert, a bad album or anything like that. We don’t care, we will love them forever and sold out every single concert.
Up the Irons! Õ/
Agreed!!!!!
We say that everywhere, even here in Canada.
Iron Maiden the Talisman from the same concert as this. Blows me away every time.
More Maiden is always the answer to everything. Just collected all my tickets for Legacy 22. 8 shows on my schedule with more to add. Up the Irons! 🤘
I missed the presale but ill be getting my tickets! Saw them during both legs of the book of souls tour and during the legacy of the beast tour 🤘🏻
Will be in Sioux Falls on Oct 5th!!
Hoping to see them at Download here in the UK next year, but hoping to get tickets for Legacy of the beast tour \m/
He’s been singing like that since I was a kid. I’m over 50 now. Crazy!! I loved them when I was young, I loved the sound, the intensity, his voice and Eddie! My parents didn’t like that I listened to them and I could never have a T shirt. Haha
I‘m 65 now and the older I get , the more I love this Music 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
If you loved the voice of bruce, you must to listen his song "The Tears of the Dragon - Bruce ". He uses all his tenor voice and skills. Really good

The concert in Chile was transformed into an album, called "Iron Maiden in Chile" and a DVD of it was made. All songs of that album are a musical and vocal jewel.
Another thing is to talk about that audience. Those people are on fire!
i was there mate !! WAS AMAZING!!
Chileans are madmen, just look at this show, they put the Rio public in the corner✌⚡🤘🤘🤘
You'll absolutely love "The Talisman" also from En Vivo, one of Bruce's (if not the) best performances EVER!

Straight to the point! Been waiting for this song for a while
IRON MAIDEN are a live band that has to be seen to believe....and BRUCE is on a complete different level of a singer/front man and the most amazing showmen in all of Metal today 🤘🏼 UP THE IRONS 🤘🏼
True🤘🤘🤘
Absolutly TRUE!!!
💯
Iron Maiden are my favorite band and have amazing concerts but I have to say I have seen better live bands
On your comment about the crowd singing together, I saw maiden a few years ago on Bruce's birthday, and the crowd joined together to sing him happy birthday and in true British crowd style/mob mentality, you could barely hear him over the crowd, absolutely unreal experience to see in real life, one of my favourite ever concert experiences
I think Iron Maiden is not playing for an audiance, but with the audiance. I see it everytime when the band give them a place or a guided solo in the song. 🙂
I saw Iron Maiden this last October and Bruce essentially said that. We’re part of the concert too. ❤
He gets a lot of his performance inspiration from theater. He said in an interview once that watching and studying plays and theater he learned that it's easy for the first few rows to see you, but most people in the back only see you standing around unless your movements are huge and exaggerated. Always perform for the people in the back
If you decide to do "The Talisman," just know that it is the perfect example of "Park it and Bark it." However, it is also a great example of how to create a set list that let's you conserve energy and your voice for the entire hour and a half or longer show. For "En Vivo," "The Talisman" is the 5th song. It is a difficult song in that it is at the top of Bruce's range for much of the song. Next, Bruce addresses the crowd, resting his voice by talking. Be careful though, he drops a F-bomb in the middle of his introduction to the next song, "Coming Home," which is a ballad of sorts. THIS would be an amazing song for you to breakdown, not only because Bruce sings it almost entirely in his mid-range, but also because he spends a majority of the song standing, balanced on the edge of his stage monitors! After this, comes "Dance of Death."
So, in these three songs, we see Bruce "Park it and Bark it," conserving bodily energy, a spoken section/ballad to rest his voice as well as "Parking it" on the edge of his monitor in a horse stance, I might add. Followed by the crazy antics/singing in "Dance of Death."
This setup shows the band's intelligence when it comes to conservation of energy an Bruce's 60 year old voice. No wonder they've been around for so long! Up the Irons!
You definitely have to listen to the Talisman!
Great explanation!
The first shows of that tour had The Talisman as the 11th song. Right after The Evil That Men Do, imagine singing that back to back. Took them just 4 shows to move The Talisman to the 5th position.
That was recorded in South America .
How cool is it that the crowd knows every word! Anywhere they play. The audience participates. It amazing!
Lizzie, It would be really cool to see your reaction to Iron Maiden - Paschendale (live). The way that this one is composed is incredible.
Especially with the intro they use with the whistling shells
The bass line is on point
Dance of the dead is in my opinion the most underrated album of Iron Maiden. There are so much great songs on it. It's just fantastic
Rainmaker was on that album correct and Pashendale?
Could not agree more @Harlekin76. It is one of my faves.
And yes CT, Rainmaker and Paschendale are on that album
Yes and remember Motsegur and the great The new Frontier. There are all shades of Iron Maiden, fresh Up-tempo numbers and epic Rock songs. But when it came out, I've read so much bad critics I can't understand. And as you see, these songs want to be played live! 😁
@@britstyx Paschendale is the best Iron Maiden song ever imo
Great songs yes - terrible cover artwork though :D
Jannick’s solo is harder to play when it’s raised that high. But since he’s been playing guitar like that as a showman, it’s become second nature to him.
Iron Maiden has a superpower that no other band has. Their albums are produced perfectly and yet somehow, they sound even better live.
22:40 for me personally, that position while playing guitar is incredibly difficult. Mostly because you have to stabilize your guitar with the same hand that is playing the notes, it severely limits your hands movement speed and to an extent your accuracy. Luckily the speed of your fingers doesn't really get changed by that position.
Yea, that stance is definitely all about showing off, which is something Gers does a lot. Not the biggest fan of his playing or solos, but he sure is a great showman.
You see I actually prefer this position when playing fast notes. I just feel like having my arm "closer" to me helps a lot
As a fellow guitar player, I agree to this stance, i have very mutch problem when it comes to solos to play at this stance, just bcus i need to hold the guitar at the same time i need to move around with my fingers, he is a special man janick, but practise i quess xD love him, love the way he show of, and hes style, casting around that guitar, oddly stances and so much more.
yeah, exactly, its only the most known (to yourself) solos you can do it and it will never be easier than regular position
I can't wait to see your lovely reaction! One of the great performances of Bruce, but if you want to listen to something that truly pushes him to his limits, give "The Talisman" a chance. He doesn't move from his spot, with his eyes closed, which is extremely rare. One of the hardest songs of IM to sing and he nails it! Also:
-Empire of the Clouds: Bruce's 18 min-long masterpiece. He recorded this song with a tumor on his tongue. He also learned to play piano for this one. It's a complex song about the R101. Alas, they never play it live because they need an orchestra for it. There is even a section of Morse code for S.O.S, one of the most interesting songs you can listen to. I won't even mention Bruce's epic delivery, gives shivers down my spine every time I listen to it.
-Paschendale: Great live performance with lights. Successful pairings of intensity of lyrics and musical power by IM.
-Seventh Son of a Seventh Son: It's a concept album actually but the title track is a must listen if you don't have the time for all of the songs. The epitome of Maiden's musicianship. It's basically a rock opera. Incredible vocals.
Keep up the great work and up the irons!🤘
What a brutaly corect stuff🤘🤘🤘
All Correct and to underline "Bruce's 18 min long masterpiece" ...

We are so lucky to be able to live in a time when Iron Maiden exists...

Your words and “colorful” description of Bruce is SO true. They will be on tour in US in 2022 and I’m looking forward to experience this in person. Thank you for your love of Bruce and of course Ronnie James Dio 🖤
The whole En Vivo concert is just a masterpiece. Definetly my favorite live performance.

Iron Maiden have steadfastly produced gold throughout all of their eras. Bruce is simply magnificent and perhaps my favorite of all time. Just massive.
We Iron Maiden fans Love to Sing Along! You really shud go to a Live Concert! It is not just the music, the show, lights ect? It is a Carnival atmospere? An immersive experience! You have to actually Be There to know what is is like!
Next Maiden song should be Children of the Damned in 1982
Now that's a great Bruce song.
Good choice, but I also like the version from Book Of Souls Live Chapter, Bruce's voice has aged superbly

Check out the En Vivo version of The Talisman, Bruce has so much energy in his voice to stay in the high notes.
Yessss🤘🤘🤘🤘
Absolutely spot on with your commentary. It feels like watching me in my early teens first discovering the band. I love how you're feeling the passion of Maiden, and how Bruce can articulate and convey a story through his words. Definitely made my day to see your awe and amusement, thank you very much. It's powerful to hear and watch someone who can dissect and feel the music in their entire being! Much love to you. Almost as much of a privilege as seeing the band live, which I was lucky to have done.
Elizabeth, I love your Iron Maiden reviews.
You give the best reactions, the way you get excited and your laughter..
A pleasure to watch...
And a perfect voice to do it too...
React to "The Talisman" from this same show, En Vivo! Absolutely ridiculous performance on Bruce's part.
Talisman gets suggested a lot! Maybe there is a chance! :D
yes!!
When you talked about him "defying all rules" when it comes to singing and movement --- I have literally seen a clip of him falling off one of the monitors mid-verse, landing UPSIDE DOWN, and somehows his vocals were 100% uninterrupted. Like, if you heard it as audio, you've have no idea that the guy had tripped, let alone falled on his neck. It's like his lungs are the Planet Express ship from Futurama.
Dickinson is one of the rock singers. It's amazing how he conveys emotions just by reading the text, without even starting to sing.
I have to say… I’ve been watching you channel for quite a while now. It’s so great to see someone who didn’t grow up listening to this music be so enamored and taken by the genre!
I bought my first cassette tape and it was Iron Madien Killers. It was not till after that album did Bruce join but as a young kid that’s all it took. Thanks for the great content and acceptance of a style that is not your first choice!! Much love!
When the Bruce Dickinson itch starts surfacing again, perhaps consider listening to the live version of Tears of the Dragon with Tribuzy. It's a song be wrote as part of his solo career and that version might well be his best vocal performance he's ever done as it's so emotional and powerful, and sounds great! 🙂
Yep yep yep yep yep
O tak!!!👍
Hell yeah!!!
found your channel like two days ago (through the latest Ayreon react) and have been binging through the metal reactions. you're just awesome too, seriously - the love that drips from every point in your face and every word is amazing, makes me rediscover and want to go back to listening to friggin' Iron Maiden after like 5 or 6 years after I abandoned them. Dance of Death is the last album by them I really liked, and this song might be the best... has this folky, jig-a-jig quality to it that almost forces you to dance along, and really, thank you so much for reminding me of that. your analysis of everything I've seen so far is so thoughtful it makes even veteran metalheads see things they never had. thank you, really. I'll try to comment on a few other videos. about Iron Maiden tho - not sure what to suggest since you've done most of the really most impressive things they've done, but:
1 - "Aces High" is a VERY agressive and fast song by them that brought tons of people into metal - I was one like 25 years ago. might be interesting
2 - "The Clansman" was recorded with Blaze Bailey, who joined when Bruce left and made 2 discs with the band. he's VERY different from Bruce and widely hated (most people think he doesn't fit Iron Maiden - his solo career on the other hand is more or less universally awesome), but this specific song is pleasant to basically every fan, and far as I remember, it's the only song of his time that's still played with Bruce. could be nice to compare how the band sounds with a totally differrent singer
I love watching your reactions to Maiden. As a decades long fan of the band, it's awesome to see you break down exactly what it is about Bruce that makes him so amazing
I've always been amazed by Nicko's footwork.. one of the greatest drummers alive at that age and in top condition 🙏 i wish a long life for Mr. McBrain 💪🇬🇧
My favorite version of this song is actually from Death on the Road where I think Bruce’s performance is a little better but this one is pretty awesome.
Another to note about the energy of the band on stage is every one of these guys were at least pushing 60 in En Vivo!
Edit: Janick’s hand position might actually put a little less stress on his wrist but fun fact: Janick Gers is left handed and plays a right handed guitar.
Thank you for an amazing analysis. The drama and story telling ability of Bruce has no parallel especially when you combine it with his sheer vocal power..
Really love that you've fallen into Maiden as well! Kinda joyful and uplifting to see your emotional expressions on "soundtracks" of my, and many others ofc, life.
Greetings from Sweden! :)
Dance of Death is a good song from Maiden! Good pick!
They’re touring the US in 2022 on the Legacy Of The Beast tour. You must go see them in person. I’ve seen them 12 or 13 times. Always an incredible show!
seeing the joy at you discovering an epic rock ballad seemingly for the 1st time put me in tears. thank you.
Hope you’re going to see them live next year Elizabeth. The most incredibly live experience has to be that moment when the house lights dim and UFO’s classic song Doctor Doctor starts playing over the PA. The whole crowd starts singing along and by the time the song ends and Maiden appear on stage everyone is fired up. And then there’s Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life after the lights go on and we file out of the venue. Amazing.
Miss Elizabeth, you just nailed exactly everything that describes Iron Maiden best. Everything Bruce sings is a historical lesson an adventure! He is the ultimate frontman and storyteller! I love Bruce Dickinson!! His vocals are sooo enchanting !!
My introduction to music was phantom of the opera by maiden
Talk about hitting the ground running!
@@oglschmitt lol it was the Daley Thompson lucozade advert 😂
YESSSSSS!!! Been waiting for this!!
Also, Trivium recently released a song called Shadow of the Abattoir, and it stems from a similar motif to dance of death. I think it would be an awesome follow up to this.
This song holds so much nostalgia for me, that I simply got choked up, over and again, over her thorough, heartfelt, and enthusiastic analysis of the great live Maiden track, Dance of Death.
I'd love to see a reaction to Meat Loaf's classic "Bat out of Hell" - I'm sure it would appeal to Eleizabeth's operatic sensibilities!
Very much second that. Bat out of Hell is strangely enough one of that songs where there are not much reactions to it. There are a bunch for other Meat Loaf songs, but not for that one.
Paradise by the Dashboard Lights!
@@stefanwulfe The trouble with Dashboard is that it's not nearly as musically interesting, and because it was a radio hit most Americans have already heard it.
I'd be happy with either Heaven Can Wait or For Crying Out Loud as well :)
I think we should launch a campaign for Bat out of Hell .... great shout!
Such a great performance! The Talisman, from the same show is a must see. Its a harder song to sing so you can really see how he grounds himself onto the stage!
Iron Maiden's "Seventh Son of the Seventh Son" with its perfect pre-chorus and Bruce's perplexing vocal delivery, as well as containing one of the most powerful riffs ever written (during the time change after the intro).
The verses feature this constant technique where Bruce will belt out a long “Oh-Oh-Oh” followed by the guitars playing the same melody next. This vocal-instrumental call-response is such a cool technique and is honestly one of my favorite parts of the song.
Bruce starts reading a spoken word passage super eerily, and afterward, the guitars begin to cut back in. If you listen on headphones, each guitar is placed in opposite ears, again creating a killer call and response dynamic. The canned choir also joins in, and the mood is really heavy and ominous.
I would love to watch your facial expressions as you critique this song. A must!
Elizabeth, another good analysis. Since you seem to 'love' a lot, I will say that I have loved watching your Maiden journey so far. You crack me up on some of things you come up with about meanings.
Every time you do a new Maiden reaction, a lot of the things you comment on reinforces why you need to react to 'The Talisman' En Vivo Video. It is BIG on the horse stance and his vocal endurance is unbelievable, and yes, it is a journey story lol.
Again, good reaction to one of my favorite Maiden reboot songs.
Ohhhhyees, lovely music
Speaking of awesomeness, any chances for interview with Bruce Dickinson? :)
Kirk is working on getting Bruce on the channel. There is a chance, yes!
@@TheCharismaticVoice wow this is a great news, good luck! :)
Wow, I'm very excited! 🙂
I saw them live once ... it's amazing how much they move, but specially, how much they all smile and grin at everyone during the whole show. They just contaminate thecwhole room with joy, just by watching them.
This song is a journey and I'm happy I was there to experience that journey together. I come back sometimes again here to watch it because there's no one better than you to go through this journey with again. You really understand our journey 🔥
Girl your nailing it, we love your show. Your so sincere.
Hi Elizabeth, as a suggestion for another Maiden review…WASTED YEARS the Flight 666 version. If you ever get the chance to see them live…this is a perfect example of what you get 🤟🏻
Wasted Years is fantastic. I'd also recommend The Evil That Men Do from En Vivo.
Yes, and she can hear Adrian sing!!!! And then she can check him out as a vocalist too. He’s pretty well known for his guitar playing and songwriting, but not so much for his rich, warm, bluesy rock voice.
Recommend Remember Tomorrow live at Ullevi! Very dynamic vocals and thrilling screams in there.
I just love watching her facial expressions , her excitement , wonder and her appreciation for the God given talent of the artist no matter the genre. Can't get enough of her ....Thank you !

Your god has nothing to do with this!!! And just Nicko is christian in the band, others most likely irreligious! Be respectful!!
Your insight on a band like Death would be beyond amazing. Very few people have videos on them despite having been such an influential band.
I love hearing your trained ear so easily pick up on so many things that just sound awesome to me. It seems as though you do not miss anything. From little nuances to huge changes within a song, whether vocally, instrumentally, pitches, octaves, tones, etc....you grab on to it and seem to really get it. I just know what sounds great to me and the bands that have endured over decades; I could not begin to notice pitch, or carry a note correctly or for more than a few seconds. It is amazing to watch you as you react and give your professional opinion when hearing heavy metal bands like Iron Maiden for the first time, particularly since you have an operatic background. You come across as very well trained, professional and just sweet and pleasant. After accidentally discovering THE CHARISMATIC VOICE, I have just briefly watched other folks trying to be famous on UA-cam, but it is clear that they are clueless and the best comments that they can come up with are things like, "oh shit!" with a smile and then state something about how this (insert any) band has been an influence for a decade, when the bands they are referring to have been amazing their diehard fans for decades. Shoddy work in an attempt to be recognized or make money. So hard to watch. You are genuine to me and your thoughts and comments are based on the musical talent of who you are hearing, perhaps even if it is not your preferred style in many cases, but you know how to recognize talent and express your thoughts very well. I truly wish that I had had a much better understanding of how a vocal coach could help with singing 40 years ago. My voice has always been so bad that I could not even fathom anyone being able to help me make it better. Middle-aged woman still jamming to Iron Maiden finally has some understanding after listening to you!!
