The headlights were new. I actually made a video on it and why I needed to replace them. This same type of technique would work though. Just swap out clear spray instead of the yellow 🤘🏽
It’s made it about a year of never being in the garage and a Colorado winter but it has faded a fair bit. I may just go to a more permanent solution. But I had done good for what it is 👌🏽
Look into the company Lamin-x they seem to have good quality and I know many people who have done their yellow film on their fog lights 👍🏽 or really any laminate company.
If you want the best performance I’d suggest going with an actual yellow bulb first. Second best option would be film and a white color bulb. I’d have to say this might be your last option. The light output is decent but uneven coats could cause less than ideal output.
You’re low beams have to be on for the fog lights to come on. They do not work independently from the headlights. The switch should be located on the same multifunction switch as the headlights 👌🏽
Just as stated before you could try and use a mild sand paper and treat it like foggy headlights and recoat with clear only to bring back the nice new look!
The fog light housings are plastic on my car. It should stick, but if you're worried a light scuffing of the housing should help with paint adhesion! 👍🏼
Damn did those turn out great. Like brand new. Good job.
Came out looking good bro
Thanks brotha, I'm happy with the results!
Man those came out dope! Those new headlights or did you do the same sanding process and just clear coated them?

Looks good, how’s it holding up?

@@AdventureRigCO thank you for letting me know, any ideas about a more permanent solution?
I love the look of yellow fog lights but I just wanna do it once and be done

looks good.. but hows the output? im torn between buying a white led then paint or put yellow film on it.. or just buy a yellow led bulb...

Well done! Looks great
Thank you! I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment! 🙌🏽
Thanks for the video, my foglight is not on, is there a switch for on and off, I just bought gx470 and noticed that the fog light not on

@@AdventureRigCO when the low beam is on but the fog light still not on, you think maybe the fuse?
Solid work.
I appreciate it 🙏🏽
Like the mod. Would have liked to see them lit up.
Yeah I kinda missed the mark with that one. I apologize. Hope it still brings value and can help you in some way!
I was hoping to see how they light up... But great job
Yeah I should have showed the color for sure. Just make sure to get even coats and coverage for best light pattern 👌🏽
How about next time you make a separate video on headlight/fog light restoration. Js
Will keep that in consideration, thanks for the feedback! 🙏🏽
Used this on my sc400s fogs/turn signal lights..a few years ago and i wanna remove now in 2020 any advice on how?
Sand down
Treat it like hazzyyy headlights
Just as stated before you could try and use a mild sand paper and treat it like foggy headlights and recoat with clear only to bring back the nice new look!
Gas
Break cleaner or gas
can you do red?
I would check local laws on that but the process would be the same regardless of color if it’s the same kind of stained glass spray paint
Were ur fog lights plastic or glass just wondering if that paint sticks on plastic fog lights

Thanks brotha I'm gonna give it a shot
Good luck man! Definitely let me know how it goes!
How are they holding up
I guess this stuff works on plastic as well... i thought just strickly glass
Yes it’s working on the plastic, it’s definitely not a permanent fix but it does work 🤘🏽
You can't use this paint on headlights! It's indoor use only and dissolves over 110 degrees.
I have it on my fog lights well into that temp range. No problems
I’m sure that’s what the directions say but I’ve had no real issue with it 👌🏽
5+ minutes of wet sand lights! As 1 idiot once said “come on man!”
I suppose there’s another way to do a step by step instructional video. Thanks for the feedback 👌🏽 I will try to look into better methods
Get a yellow led bulb. Way better
This is more for aesthetics. I do also have a yellow bulb 👌🏽
