Not sure how I got here, have no plans on new countertops - in fact mine are new, but I’m still here watching the whole video lol
We appreciate you! Thanks for watching
Me too lol 😆 I guess his work is amazing and results are satisfying 😉
I came here from a rug washing site...
Same! Lollll
I live in a apartment and can't change my counter tops yet I watched the whole video
this man really loves what he does. i suddenly feel like i just want to make a bunch of countertops.
Heck yeah! Thank you UA-cam!
Already ordering epoxy 🤣
You said that perfectly.
Yeah, I work as a creative for a company and I don’t remember feeling this creative.
Seriously lol
Am I the only one who feels a deep satisfaction watching epoxy be poured and spread onto a surface....? It can't be just me, right??
14 million views! There's no way 14 million people are actually refinishing their countertops. This guy is mesmerizing. How does he make countertops look fun? He should've been teaching my high school calculus class.
The views shouldn't shock you, there are like over 8 billion people on the planet 🙄
At around 12.50 dollars per thousand views, yeah he ain't hurting
Actually it is 1.4 million, not 14 million. Big difference! 😊❤🤣
Ha ha. You missed a zero. But now he's at 16 million views!!! (1.4M subscribers)
@@noomapollo5389 duh I confused viewers with subscribers. 🙄
The man would have been perfect for a 90s late night shopping channel...
I wouldn't mind watching!

Irritating vibe. Turn down the salesman tone. Think NASA control room.
This feels like a blend between a UA-cam video and those old TV commercials.
You make a great point Batman, thank you for watching! Do you have any projects coming up?
was thinking the same thing. lol
Well, that is how we all learn about something new. I find their videos very informative and I am thinking about how and where I can use this in my home someday...
Dude is weird
True. It's unwatchable.
I am about to remodel my mom's 52 year old home for sale. You just saved me a fortune. God brought me this. Thank you Brother! God Bless You.
Don't forget to wear the proper PPE when using resin, this guy failed in that department.
Updates?
god said, just hire it out. and focus on life.
It didn't work out? We did ours and after 2 years, there were chips from someone chopping something directly during Thanksgiving booo
Sometimes after a hard day, ya just need to come home and watch a nice guy be positive about something. This did the trick. 😊
It makes me happy to see someone who loves their work
Thank you, Victoria! We hope you will stay tuned for all the great content to come! -Nathan
My wife and I are hooked!
I watched this then looked at my countertop - "We need to talk".
I hear you Stone Coat Countertops is amazing!!
You talk to counter tops? Smarter than Joe B I guess.
Hahahaha right on 😂
yes but don't burn the kitchen with the torch ok :)
@@ccccen I wish I'd your comment sooner 🚒🚒🚒🚒
I could imagine meeting this guy at a wedding reception, being hooked into a story about a PHENOMENAL counter top, and then winding up in the parking lot watching him do a quick demo on a B&D Workmate behind his job van.
Я вас обожаю!!!!!! Столешница из дуба,из Икеи, ей 15 лет, и я сделала ее!!! Смотрела ваши работы, кучу видео, Вы научили меня! Вы большие умницы!!!!!! Вдохновили на подвиг!
I don't know why this video popped up in my recommendation...and I don't know why I fully watched it. But now I need a countertop.
This guy could sell anything. Get him his own infomercial immediately.
I immediate thought of Flex Seal as this dude started his demo. Lol.
You.....just watched his infomercial.

I have been watching everything Stone Coat has videos for, dude is awesomeness and a great teacher. Got my first kit ready for a test table next week. Can't wait!!!!👍
God bless Americans like you, generosity, honesty, passion no strings attached, no details left behind....YT is paying people all over the world to create and share. Knowledge for nothing given away on channel like this to the whole humanity. God Bless America.
"Just one can of this and now I no longer need that expensive hair-transplant. I spent the $8000 I had saved on a Jet Ski instead! Thank you Stone Coat Countertops!" 🏆🇬🇧
This video is more relatable than it intended to be... I start projects, it gets messed up, then I have someone else finish it.
Me 😅🤭🤣
I'm looking at my moms phone, I'm a Carpenter and I see alot of people do cool projects and look great but there are things you just don't consider without learning lessons from experience in different jobs. People think that tradesmen can do it so can I. These videos make things look so easy they don't show or tell you everything. Don't be afraid to talk to pros and ask questions. Is there something I should consider? Can this be done right by someone with limited experience? Also take your time and look for someone qualified who is willing to do the job at a price you can afford. But be mindful if uninsured and no contract you could get in another mess. Talk to people who have used someone who gave them a more affordable deal. Get your cost figured out of exactly what you want and save or make a budget if you don't have the cash available. Remember its no fun paying for something 2-3 times. Alot of us learn the hard way. Im a Carpenter and can complicate my life playing auto mechanic. 👍 Good luck in future !

Sooo true...
Everything was doable until epoxy was introduced.
I’m so impressed with your beautiful work. A work of art for sure. I would love to have countertops that look that beautiful. My hubby is a computer guy and minister. He didn’t get the gift of being handy. One day I’m going to be able to do this myself. Thank you so much for sharing your gift!🙏🏽❤️
He's a minister, he got THE gift that matters most. 😉
You're a great teacher. I've been looking for new ideas for redoing my kitchen counters. This was very
educational. Thank you for this video!
We used your process about 3 years ago and our countertop still look great! No one can believe we did this ourselves! Thank you so much!
@Hello Robert how are you doing
did they turn yellow?
I was wondering how well they hold up over time. Thank you
I used this in my bathroom. For the countertop, I started with cement board over plywood. I cut out for my sink and then sprayed the cement board. For a top coat, I used the clear I use when I paint autos, which is my business. I installed it and put in my sink. I also cut out a back splash and did the same with it. It’s been about 5 years and looks like it was just done.
I'd love to see pictures of your project. We are going to do the countertops in our bathrooms like they showed in the video.
Now are you going to say you have a fake granite countertop, or are you going to lie and say they're real granite when you go to sell your house? (if you sell it of course)
@@robert9595 say nothing
@@robert9595 Does it matter though? Like what is everyone’s obsession with these things needing to be real?
But does it look like stone - like hands down?
I watched you carbon fiber table video years ago...and knowing what I know now, that video blew me away. Thanks!! Now Im working with epoxy more and finding your channel after 3 years was a stroke of luck!!!:):)
Thanks for coming back! Let me know if you have any questions
I used that spray on 2 big inexpensive plastic urns and they looked like they were expensive urns when I was done!! Loved it
Might be ok on something that never gets touched, not so much for a high traffic, high wear area like a counter-top.
I search up the Home Depot theme ONE TIME, and now my mom loves me for making the kitchen table looks so much nicer. Awesome tutorial!!
I love this guy's energy, and btw we did our countertops with Stone Coat and we couldn't be happier! We followed his video to do epoxy over TILE!! and it WORKED!!
What about the grout?
I did my mother's cabinets in this cleaned the cabinets sprayed them a sandy color because she lived at the beach. They were so cool. There's a kit where you only spray the granite and spray the clear coat no sanding or brush. He is doing counter tops and they look great. I did cabinets and they were awesome.
Yo what's the name of the kit I need it asap for my island
I can't remember but it was in Lowes. It's 2 cans of spray one granite and one clear in the paint spray isle. They have different colors.
My Owner will not update our Apts, my Cabinets look from the 70s and block title Counter Tops 😳😫.
Do you think this can be applied over a laminate counter?
Perfect timing! I have a gardening table I’d like to waterproof and I was thinking Epoxy would be a good option. Can’t wait to give it a try.
I was always dreaming to have a husband like you ...like my grandfather ...thank you! I enjoyed watching
Thanks for the kind compliment!

Uh hello - Im standin here!?!?!
We had a class about how to do this from high school. Even got paid to do a small counter top all those years ago.

This is insanely cool. Love the energy and enthusiasm lol because that's important I feel in doing any project. I think that makes a world of difference in doing anything. Just love this.
I just bought a new vanity stone countertop; it's to heavy..after watching this video I will try this new concept in the bathroom vanity..that's my promise. God loves you!!
Last year I felt young. Now I’m watching these videos👀
I don’t know why UA-cam brought me here, I don’t own my own house...but I’m glad it did, you’re the happiest person ever.
It was encouraging seeing the 2nd guy coming in and repeating the same steps and getting the same results. Convinced me that anyone can do it if you follow the steps.
As someone who resurfaces countertops every day, the white, black and gray flecked countertops are still really popular
i watch this entire video but have zero interest in DIY but watching for his enthusiasm and excitement haha
😅😅lol you're funny
My brother.....good on ya
The only part that gets me, and it’s UA-cam as a whole, not just hear guys, is when they follow the formula “let me know down in the comments” after asking a question that we all know is irrelevant. “What’s your favorite color? Let me know!”
My 7 year old watches minecraft videos and it’s every few minutes on those. They know the people watching are kids.. it’s kind of sad.

Definitely the black and grey since my kitchen cabinets are white, it would make the small kitchen pop! You are so awesome, you make me want to spray paint! something!!
"This product is a million different fun accents in a can".
Can confirm, just got mine the other day and was very entertained when I opened it and it started mocking the French.

ROTFLMAO
Watch your government collapse, but hey, you got nice counters Edit: My comment was without watching the video. this is freaking awesome
As it should
Good showmanship-quickly runs through the whole process at the very beginning, rather than hiding it forcing people to either skip to the end of the video or endure the whole process just to find out they don't like the end result. Here's a like.
Absolutely love how it turned out. For a fraction of the price of granite or corian! I am very excited to try this. Thankyou stonecoat!!
Did you end up doing it? Im looking where to buy the materials here locally in South Bend IN
I really enjoy doing automotive body work and painting, this looks so satisfying, thanks!

Your comment is so funny because I saw a car painted in stone coat last week.
Love love love thank you soooo much. I am doing this on my own a little at a time ,remodeling my mom and dad's house that was built in 1968. Finished the bathroom and Lord it's a big difference from what my bathroom was. Next is my kitchen countertops and cabinets

the counter tops in the background are absolutely stunning, wish i had the money to get my kitchen with some of those bad boys
I'm excited to receive my order of art epoxy and white dye from Stone Coat Countertops! I'm planning on making a bright pure white stand for some music equipment. Very interesting. Just wondering whether, when coating wood/mdf, the underside should be sealed, perhaps with pva, to prevent 'smiling', as done when oiling wooden worktops.
I see a man enthusiastically pouring epoxy... I leave a like🤷♂️

How durable is it ?
@@jamescalifornia2964 It's very durable. I have constantly looked them over the last year looking for scuff marks or chips from dropping things on the counter I have seen nothing. @Hello How are you doing dear
Love how simple you made this look
I’m looking at my “granite” countertops and kitchen island like.....🧐😂
You can tell a real countertop from this fakeness. A real countertop will have natural grain lines where the natural material was molten at one time before hardening. You'll even be able to see small lines were the material was seperated when cutting it if it's a "natural" look slab where it has slight deviations instead of a flat square polished milled cut.
😂 me too...
Looks like colored sand sprinkled😐😐 I guess this could work for someone
@@chelly0420 if you like particle board countertops.
