I am 76 and living in Tanzania. This 6Sept., I listened to this funky groove for three solid hours while I painted. I have been grooving deeply off if this cut since it came out years ago.
Your take on the music is correct. Give up your hangups and be free. Feet don't fail me now!

So much of the texture of this song is thanks to the amazing Wizard of Woo, the late Bernie Worrell … He created all the unusual sounds with keyboards and computers ❤️

So amazing to see a beautiful black girl reacting and dancing to my all time favorite black music!! Believe it or not, me and my cousin bought and celebrated this album when we were ten......and that was back in 1982!!!
    You're lovely.....Greetings from Germany!!!

Start the party! Those mystery sounds sound to my ears like vocalizations traded between two band members.

I've been funkin since 1975. It took me about 4 years to realize that Parliament and funkadelic was the same band members. Continue to enjoy the P-Funk experience. Loving your reactions my Funkateer baby sista.🤘

This is my first time discovering your channel. I guess I have the algorithm to thank for sending your channel my way. George Clinton, Bootsy Collins and Parliament/Funkadelic were responsible for helping to maintain my sanity while matriculating through university, back in the day! I look forward to hearing more of your broadcasts.

Music is therapy and you can dance away your 'hang-ups' if you dare to.......the worst restriction is the one we place on ourselves.....

Black acid heads I had a dealer in a black university a student that loved the whole Funkadelic scene and the spin offs crews Bootty Gorge Clifton and so forth. I am a Deadhead so the Black heads were where I was. I always felt bad that not many black guys were at the shows. I watch all the reaction videos that have black hosts and they all love Phil’s bass playing. I actually met Jerry in 1971 when I asked him if I could sit behind the amps and he let me.I go between the amps and the first person I meet is Bear and he is dropping liquid acid on the back of their hands and they licked it off. stuck my hand out and he put four big drops on my hand and I licked it off. 1971 anyway I got hooked up with his local dealer and the money went to building his masterpiece The Wall Of Sound. He was actually more interested in MDA It was intense like Turbo acid. I was more of an LSD fan. I would put a hit of an LSD tablet shake the can around and then put my finger tip in the dust and you would be high in a gentle way.⚡️🎸⚡️
