This song had the party jumping back in the day
O Yeah! Still jumping to it today. Weddings, we get down on the line dance to this jam! I feel for the younger generation. They really don't know what it's like to really groove. To feel it in your soul, in your whole body. Be Well ~ And Keep Jammin' ~;-) "Feet Don't Fail Me Now"!
You can still pack a dance floor with this. Classics never die.
I hear that.. 😂😂
Oh yes for sure 🔥
He's not ready for the 'p-funk, uncut funk, the BOMB!' But he is grooving - so cute. These kids just don't know how hard we partied!! Not just house parties but seeing these groups in concert!!
THE JAM!! EVEN MADE IT ON AMERICA'S TOP 40 HITS AND WENT NUMBER ONE. THE NATION'S JAM!!
You need to watch a live performance to see the full majesty of Mr. George Clinton.
We use to party HARD to this back in the day ... Nice Memories... ' Feet Don't Fail Me Now ' 🔥🔥🔥🔥
When this came on, ALL the hands went up!
You know it, many of these kids today, probably couldn't dance 5 minutes😁

This is how rhythm is born ....right here..
This was the Jam. Couldn't cruise Virginia Beach or anywhere in the DMV and not hear this groove bouncing off of somebody's speakers! Gotta react to Aqua Boogie soon.
Recommend for you to listen to the 12 inch cut.

This song reminds me of the summer block parties we used to have in Highland Park back in the day... this is my fave Funkadelic cut.
One nation under the groove...the best ♥️
Ok! I was 8 when this came out. My uncle was living with us at the time and he played this everyday when he came home from work. I used to play when I came home from school, before doing homework lol the life of a latchkey kid. Music first then homework. "The whole funk, nothing but the funk" 💃🏾💃🏾
😂😂😂
💃💃💃💃💃💃At the skating rink gettin my skate on!! 😎😎😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👣👣👣👣 dont fail me now😂😂
I was 8 when this came out...I used to sneak out my room when my parents would throw thier little party n watch everyone dancing n drinking then I would start dancing my little behind in the hallway....then run to my room when I would hear my mom coming...lol...know this song word for word...
Next "Knee deep" or anything Funkadelic/ Parliament did. They are that good.
Another classic funky jam to listen to: "Funkin For Jamaica". Same vibe.

Man, we would dance for hours to this one. House parties, roller rink, the club. Kirk Franklin sampled the bass line STOMP. James Brown, Parliament funkadelic and Motown or some of the most frequently sampled artist in music.
This was the party JAM!
Billy Preston & Syreeta Wright “ With You I’m Born again “
Mr. Satori My G. I'm telling you, you don't want to mess with the funk... You be hooked on it the rest of your life.. Listen to flashlight and some bootsy collins I 'd rather be with you.

Brides of Funkenstein “Never buy Texas from a cowboy” next pleas!!!!!
I remember my aunt playing this when I was a little one lol
Come on with the Funk- P Funk, Yesss🔥🔥🔥
A Funkateer from the Old School right here. There's a longer version with a stellar guitar solo in the middle by the one of the greatest guitarists of all time, Michael "Kid Funkadelic" Hampton. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
This was huge in the UK too.
Now you have to hear Atomic Dog !!!!
WOOF WOOF WOOF NASTY DOG,FUNKY DAWG,ETC🤣😂😅😭👀🤗
If you're not jamming on the floor, you are skating 🛼 at the rink or around the neighborhood street
Freshman year Morehouse college. 20 minute version was the JAM!!!
CAU Panthers! I stayed in Morehouse rec hall watching football. My son attended Morehouse. HBCU LOVE
Not the 20 minute version!!! 🔥🔥😂🤣😂😂
You barely moved at the beginning of the song. Midway you were swaying side to side. Like I mentioned before our music was a journey not just cute jingles, great beats and swearing 🤬 But you all have to do you. Glad you enjoyed the funk.
Hi @Jamo Mathews, this is off topic. I think you may hear it too, isn’t that Ray Parker playing the riff heard over and over that he also used in track by Raydio “For those who like to groove”?
Whatcha think?? ✌🏽🙂
@LivinNLearnin that is definitely Ray Parker Jr.
This song is still 🔥🔥🔥. You should also listen to some GoGo music like Trouble Funk “Don’t Touch That Stereo, Drop The Bomb, Pump me Up, Trouble Funk Express”. Another good song is “Firecracker “ by Mass Production .
Loved every song you mentioned, especially Drop the Bomb. We had a dance routine to Firecracker lol. These songs still on my playlist!
All of those are lit!
Man I miss those days! I remember when this song came out. I was a senior in the highschool marching band.. I remember before class when the director hadn't come down to the band hall yet. Somebody would slide this jam in the system..Oh and it was on! That powerful system jammed this song! And we was getting down! Getting all funked up! Somebody would be the look out for the director.😀
I love this song
Saw this post....had to find my cassette tape!!! GOT IT!!!
Don't forget Mothership connection by PFunk! Another funk classic ☄
Ya Jammin bro!! Play the long version when you get a chance (Classic!!!)

Feet don't fail me now 🔥🔥👏🎆. Nothing but the funk🎶
I was 10 when this song dropped!!
A banger fo sure
This song was released my last year in high school. We used to work out. Like I said post before. You have done it now. You dipped your toe in the lake of funk!!! You’re life will never be the same. Seeing the funkadelic live in concert was a experience that you wouldn’t believe. They would play One nation under groove like for 20 minutes or more. Funkied. I enjoy your reaction.
Funk for the ages. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Yes indeed. Let skate away on this one… 90 mph on the cement floors!!! 🎩🗝🎼🎹
Thank you for checking that out. They are so funky. You are going to love their work. You will see hip hop sampled a lot from including James Brown and Kool & The Gang. Try “Flashlight” or when George Clinton did “Atomic Dog”. If you get a chance check out James Brown “The Payback” and We Gonna Have a Funky Good Time”. Some of the people from his band played with Parliament. Also check out Bootsy Collins. Time for some funk my brother ☺️ Thank you again for what you do!!!
Hi “Shwon Brooks and Mr. James Brown’s “Hot Pants” and then Public Enemy’s “Fight the Power” and we will see if Satori My G catches ‘it’. 🙂🙂✌🏽
@@LivnNLearnin oh I think he would enjoy the hell out of it lol
YOU KNOW KIRK FRANKLIN, THE GOSPEL SINGER, SAMPLED THE CHORUS BREAK PART OF THIS SONG, IN HIS SONG "STOMP." SOME PEOPLE WOULD LIKE TO FORGET THAT, BUT IF THE BEAT MOVES YOU, THE SPIRIT CAN MOVE YOU TOO, GOSPEL OR NOT. IT MADE IT TO #1 ON THE GOSPEL CHARTS.😉👏👏👏😄
Lord I was17 when this song came out awwwww the memories
Satori 🎷

I was in LaTiere 21 Club at the age of 16 or 17. Doing the Rock to this around 1978. That was b4 Liquor sales were legal in my state. They only beer and wine. No carding us, because. We as kids, were not causing problems or drawing attention to ourselves. We were there to dance and have a good time with our classmates, and friends.
I was 7 when this came out and 18 when X-Clan sampled it

FEET DON'T FAIL ME NOW! This jam was the funk anthem call to the dance floor. Do you promise to funk. the party days.
At their concerts they would request someone to throw them a joint on stage. It then looked like a blizzard was happening. :)
their most successful song and their most successful album. They did another song that sounded very similar called "The Electric Spanking Of War Babies".
Doing the Earl Flynn back in the days in Detroit !!🔥🔥
My junior high school in high school days what it feels like to be young again through music
Simply Amazing!!! @ 1:37 😂😂
I just spotted Satori 🎷 whistling to this song.. while playing it today on repeat 💜
I remember back in the day, when somebody referred to this track as the funk national anthem
Give George is flowers. Created a genre. Then hip hop loving sampled.
