Asylum is an awesome song. Whole album too. Was the first album they released after I became a fan. This is from the pre-sound of silence days where only hard rock/metal fans knew Disturbed lol.
I’d say check out Prayer. It’s got that classic Disturbed sound but not quite as intense as Asylum. They also did a cover of Land of Confusion by Genesis that is amazing. Instead of going soft with it like SoS, they gave it the heavy Disturbed treatment and it works perfectly!

In case you're wondering why after the " inmate" escapes and dies you see the word reset well all his escape attempts you see during the video were all in his head he never truly leaves the room

Asylum is a great Halloween song with that video. Lol! Without the video, it's a play on the word Asylum being either a sanctuary or an insane hospital, and, how a love affair resembles both. 😅 I love Disturbed, even their heavy stuff which they taught me to appreciate. 😊 love the reaction and thanks for diving deeper into Disturbed!❤
