- The latest incarnation of the Ducati Monster underwent a transformation last year, when the all-new model dumped Ducati’s famous steel trellis frame, in favour of a monocoque design in the style of the Panigale superbike, and took its power from the latest iteration of the famous 90-degree ‘L’ twin - the 111bhp, 937cc, unit shared with numerous other models in the range, including the Hypermotard, SuperSport and the new Desert X.
It’s hard to believe that the Ducati Monster turns 30 in 2023.

Monsters hate sitting around 40km and under :)
Thanks fm WEST OZ great review !
Ducati wheelie control set to 1 will destroy all other bikes by far….. sad that no one talks about it….. Ducati overall is by far the best brand and still cheap as well. Monster sp with ohlins and Panigale v2 breaks is best value for money in the heigh end middle class.
A little too tall and leaning too forward for me. Why I’ll keep my Diavel though bigger, heavier. Speed Triple RS beats the Monster SP for same money.
Very well done breakdown of the bike. Spot on. Thumbs up
