I want one. However at the price there's a lot more that's better value for my money. I'll be grabbing a Realtrack 156 before I even think about saving up for a 159

Why don’t they make something new? We already had an old 159 and there’s a sizeable gap in the 2nd gen EMU market

There are choices of sound and non-sound on 159013, both due to arrive in the shops during March.

Hi Citizen Smith, Hornby Magazine is an independent title. We use the Hornby name under license and cover all model railways products for the British market across 'OO', 'N' and 'O' gauge.
That's some gap between the platform and the coach..albeit the doors are at the end. Not much good for BR MK1 passengers

@@devilscoachman79 £280 dcc ready. But I'm fully agreeing with you, that is a hell of a price. Looking at this and stuff like the pullman set they put up for £999, I can't help but think Bachmann are going to quickly price themselves out of the market at this rate. There's more and more new manufacturers bringing out high end models for the same price, if not cheaper than Bachmann
It looks awful. Windows set too low in body shell. Front end is a vast improvement, the rest of it is worse...
It looks virtually the same as the real 159s what are you on about
