I just love how that even this man who's nearly been homeless and on the verge of bankruptcy has been very patient with Bojack. But even he has a breaking point and goes off on a hilarious way
Well, that is the hard and complicated part about marriage. A spouse cannot just marry someone and expect them to discard their partner just because they are not doing well in their career as of the moment. Pinky's broken career and financial trouble should not be enough. She knows that he's working hard and doing his best and she still believes that he can still provide for his family. This is why a person must always be careful on who they will marry.
My favorite thing about this scene as that it starts off with “she’s too functional” and immediately on that same scene she’s talking about how meaningless her dads death was to her.
“Oh I’m so sorry Mr Horseman, she’s too functional. Why don’t I just get on the phone and call a less functional *WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?!??!?“* Pinky’s best line 😂
this scene showed me how much you could really believe an opnion on someone but the more you gte to know them the more you realize how wrong you could be about them either for better or for worse
“I don’t know if Dianne is damaged enough to tell my story” why isn’t anyone talking about that line? It’s pretty significant when we learn more about Dianne’s past later on in the episode and later seasons of the show
As much as at 1st I thought Bojack was just randomly being weird and self centered at this scene, watching the rest of the show he had a point if he wanted to tell his true story in the book.
Pinky has somehow survived the entire show. I'm happy for him
I love him
He should thank the functional ghost writer.
“She’s too functional.”
*Five seasons later*
I am terrible. I am terrible. I am terrible. I am terrible. I am terrible. I am terrible.
Andrew The Fanboy that is true though
@LizardguyLike, less than an episode later.
I'm pretty sure that when she has no emotional reaction to her dad dying, that's a sign that Bojack is already wrong about her functionality.
actually, i am a little at odds at HOW disfunctional Diane became
@@pedroprovan4046 She acted functional for years, it all was just boiling up. It had to boil over at some point, right?
Diane is too functional. Wow that doesn't last long.
Ahhh fish... 😹
@Gaz I'll reply now
@Bob yo

Patton Oswalt was perfect for Pinky. He cracks me up every time he's on screen.
This guy is a comedic GENIUS if you ask me
@icearth426 same luv bo jackhorseman
yes but now everytime i hear patton oswalt I just think of Pinky Penguin
His reaction was priceless 🤣🤣🤣
Dude can really pull of a drowning in dept failed business man ready to end it all kind of guy.
I just noticed Diane’s sitting on a stack of books because there aren’t enough chairs. 😆
Holy shit, how didn’t I notice that?
I just noticed that lol
What the hell it took me 2 years after discovering this show to notice that, I am ashamed as I am the (self proclaimed) best I spy player.
0:54 this is literally the funniest scene in the whole series
The way he throws the phone out the window😂
@@jacktheiss4085 and bojack’s facial reactions
The most surprising part of all of this is that his wife hasn't divorced him for making them live in a phone booth
In sickness and health

Or just not marry.
This is weirdly sweet!
Other question: Why doesn't she work to pay for a place? And if she won't, how could she complain?
Considering how meek he was being prior to this scene, it felt cathartic seeing Pinky finally asserting himself to Bojack.
Everyone’s talking about Pinky’s outburst but BoJack’s “oh. my god” gets me EVERY TIME
Dianes character development is insaaane
I couldn’t stop laughing when I first heard Diane’s ringtone in this scene.
An awesome way to introduce a subtle detail about her personality.
Pinky: Apologizing to BoJack
BoJack: 😑
Pinky: WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?
BoJack: 😲
he threw the phone out of the window 🤣🤣
IM DYING LMAO

"Why don’t I just get on the phone and call a less functional WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!?!" Cracks me up every time! 🤣
I like how Diane’s dialect comes through when she says “Boston” at 1:37
And also after she says that.
S1 is always fun and simple to rewatch everytime
It’s kind of funny how we always feel good about going back to the simpler season 1, after being weighed down by the heavier future seasons.
1:00 WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! THIS IS A VERY BAD TIME BOJACK!!!!!!!
I was dead-ass rollin'.... 😂😂😂😂
“Oh I’m so sorry Mr Horseman, she’s too functional. Why don’t I just get on the phone and call a less functional *WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?!??!?“*
Pinky’s best line 😂
this scene showed me how much you could really believe an opnion on someone but the more you gte to know them the more you realize how wrong you could be about them either for better or for worse
Pinky's scream cracks me up sooo bad😂😂😂
Diane's NPR ringtones are my favorite running gag in this show.
That sounded like one heavy phone.
His wife is a real one🤣
Translation: Danger! Declared, as "about to collapse". Asbestos.
I always pictured Patton Oswalt as a neurotic penguin whenever I looked at him, so this was perfect casting in my eyes
“I don’t know if Dianne is damaged enough to tell my story” why isn’t anyone talking about that line? It’s pretty significant when we learn more about Dianne’s past later on in the episode and later seasons of the show
Pinky may be my favorite minor character and this is definitely my favorite scene with him
Pinky is so cute and funny. I love Patton Oswalt
Patton Oswald is so underrated 😂
😂😂😂 Pinky’s knee caps were on the line
0:04 to the people who wonders what is saying:
"Danger, this place will be ruins very soon"
I love Patton Oswalt. xD
He’s gonna be perfect for my son Buddy Michael Kickingsman’s voice
Technically, Pinky is responsible for Bojack's reputation getting destroyed.
Pinky is like Gil from the Simpsons but better/more involved than just a quick gag
I wish pinky penguin was a permanent character! 0:25 How’s it coming along🙁🙁🙁
Well he is still alive in season 6....
I just like how Pinky snaps at Bojack all of a sudden as he is stern and angry towards Bojack for rejecting Diane.
That’s how Buddy sounds in 2001 if you listen to Pinky Penguin that’s how Buddy sounds
That intro is perfection
Bro is living in a phone booth and Bojack is complaining Diane is "too functional" 😭😭😭
Pinky is so fucking cute
Kinda funny how they both witnessed each other getting a phone call that their dad died.
patton oswalt likes to play penguins
0:48 Oh Bojack if you only knew
Pinky snapping is so funny
jst found out the actor who voiced pinky is the same actor who voiced remy ratattaouile
As much as at 1st I thought Bojack was just randomly being weird and self centered at this scene, watching the rest of the show he had a point if he wanted to tell his true story in the book.
Penguin roasted bojack lol.
Just peck him Pinky.
1:00 WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!!
