another good one from the start of season 6 is bojack having to use the tie-the-bedsheets-together trick from horsing around during rehab like every other episode. “i never thought this would have so much practical application in my life, but…”

I love the consistency that Mr Peanutbutter goes to the same sign place every time and they always mess it up.
idk if it's a running gag but I love seeing the "bojack sneezing on marisa tomei" picture be used every once in a while
The commitment to a gag is interesting, because the characters just accept it: PB's signs, the entire population of Hollywoo, maybe other examples. I wonder if there is any parallel to acceptance and resistance in the characters' development.
Erica is my fav running gag ever written
2:00 coldness of Bojack reiterating "again, does anyone here speak english?" just for the raw accent of Diane's family member is like space-coldness.
Not to mention all the giraffe jokes
one of my favorite bits that isn't is this is whenever kelsey jannings sees todds face she is exhilarated and absolutely loves it
the running joke for mr. PB’s game show ab celebrities “what do they know? do they know things? let’s find out” not being included is a crime.
“Slap my salami the guys a commie” is for some reason the funniest thing to me
i love diane's ringtones so much; i grew up listening to NPR with my dad and he thought they were hilarious
I love the various banners. They're all perfect but so easy to miss in the moment
The more I learn about Erica the more I need to meet her
the show has multiple running gags or maybe references would be a better term, one of my favorites is Halloween on January
And how it became the main reason of how bojack got the role of secretariat
I love the love/hate relationship between the whale and Randy. Such character development.
I love the running joke of characters rhyming a million times in a sentence.
“Oh great, you’re also a wine addict” instead of wino just made me laugh out loud 💀
Honestly my favorite running gag is a visual one- how the sign printer always messes up the order by writing the *literal* instructions on each sign 😂
"and use a pretty font"
