What helps me is to remind myself that the narcissist - in my case a covert narcissist - is a shell, a shadow, a void; rather like an actor who hasn't been given a role yet. They owe their whole persona to you (and other suppliers like you). When you leave, script and all, they're left without any lines.... in front of a live audience.

He broke up with me and I said okay then you are my ex and I do not have contact with exes. So I told him I love him and wished him well and blocked him. And now this week he is leaving for Thailand thank God, let the Thai girls have him. I caused him alot of injuries. I dont wanna hurt people but he hurted me alot but how can they go on with theese injuries? I mean how will his life be?
I didn't know what a narcissist was until I dated one for about a month. He was nice but I noticed some things that made me uncomfortable, so I broke it off and walked away. Nothing prepared me for the onslaught of what this man did to me. There is no need to give details because you are aware of the behaviors. I eventually blocked him from any contact and remain in no contact. Then I had to educate myself on this particular type of monster. I guess I am writing this because I fail to see the purpose of this evil person taking up space on Earth. This person exists only to hurt people, that is his nourishment. I guess all of his victims had lessons to learn, myself included. I seek no revenge, however, when I read your posts and came to realize that my discarding him caused a narcissistic injury and that he did 1 hoover from an unknown number, that I did not reply to and blocked, caused him more discomfort, I cannot help feeling some type of vindication. But I truly feel I have a stalker for life.
I get so lost in my head, wondering how they learn the same games of deceit, tricks, games,gaslighting... but I think I get it now. It's how their brain processes information cause it is a mental disorder it does show up on a brain scan. Is that right, Joe?❤

I did reveal his behavior to his bar friends. He ran. He wouldn't go to the bar if i was there, or would leave if i came in. Then he went off on one of the guys he was friends with. The guy saw his true colors & isnt friends with him anymore. At least he believes me now.
