In this train cab ride video of Switzerland, we present the train driver's view of the journey between the beautiful town of Montreux and Rochers-de-Naye, the highest viewpoint over Montreux, in 4k HDR resolution.
Rochers-de-Naye offers a unique panoramic view of the Swiss and French Alps: from the Eiger to Mont-Blanc and down to Lake Geneva, where you can peer over the cliffs, visit an alpine flower garden, and make friends with the resident marmots (in summer).

It's near the end of the trip that you realize how steep the line really is.
Oh my goodness! AKSense' virtual train trips can't get any better than this. From start to finish it is amazing. How can the passengers on top of a mountain be dressed for summer?! Just one question, what is the name of the mountain that looks like a giant reptile? Thanks in advance.

Hey, it's a narrow track? Is it only for this stretch or for steep tracks? Cuz I thought die Schweiz had broad tracks for trains...
They have standard gauge main lines but in mountain areas they often use narrower gauges. Quite a lot of metre gauge lines for instance.
It's a "cogtooth" railway - notice the middle track with the "teeth" - a cogwheel mounted underneath the train engages with them and pulls the train up those steep grades. Also helps control the train going back down. A standard gauge train would be too heavy for the mountain trip.
