I was fascinated by this demonstration, at first glance, I would not even know where to start. You made it seem so logical. I watched each stroke, and will be trying this, and probably re-watching this video. I have a reference book of flowers, you gave me confidence to tackle some of the more difficult ones. Thank you, you are an outstanding teacher.
What a great way to challenge yourself. Randomly picking a flower and just doing it. Great idea. I love it. I really do hope you do this every week.....FANTASTIC!!!💕🖌
I love roulette. I also love how you have so little paint on your brush. It seems I never have enough water in my paint so my colors are very strong. Thank you for the video. 🎉🎉🎉
Got my second subscription box. Love it, I can tell you really spent some time choosing the exact supplies. I am looking forward to using the new brushes.
Hi Emma I would love to see more of these from The Colour Flower Guide. Someone in the comment section below said something I had in mind to say but that's ok. Great minds think alike they say and we're on the same page. She said that the colours you used are so soft and that's what I love about it too. They're so soft and light but so fresh and pretty. I love this. This is beautiful and I would love to see more of these. Thank you for this tutorial. And thanks for the insight into this book. It definitely is worth buying. Thanks you. God bless Susan xxx 👍❤❤❤❤🎨🌟🌟🌟🙏🙏🙏
This tutorial was very helpful for me. I have that book but so far I haven’t painted anything from it. Wasn’t sure how to go about making a loose painting. Thanks!
I loved watching you paint from a reference photo. And yes, I'd like to see more flower roulette! I have this book. I bought it when you reviewed and recommended it. I love how your version of the flowers came out. Thanks for sharing!
It’s like watching Mother Nature create magic. I can not believe that even though you decided to do a loose flower, almost immediately it looked so real even prettier than the original photo. I love the pink shadow colour, what did you use to make the pink shadow? You might have already done a video on this, but what are your favourite watercolour colours to use for botanicals? I am purchasing this book today as it is a great resource for different flowers to try to paint. Thank you, your Art is amazing. 🤗🥰🇨🇦
This was a great video I've had the book for a while now and have seen another artist do a series of paintings from the book. I prefer your approach and how you talk through each step. Definitely would love to see you do more from The Flower Color Guide.
I love this! Can you please do a tutorial with a lotus? That would be wonderful. Thank you. I’m always getting hard edges too and I’m unsure how to not get them. Thanks!❤
Who did this first you or Brush movement? I see these books everywhere know. I think they are fabulous books, as I have them already… but man this is a popular thing right now!!!! ❤
Emma I got my second box and they need to protect it better than just a bubble envelope. It was crushed. Not badly but it’s damaged. If they are going to ship the same way the box needs to be heavier duty or they need to put the box in a box one to protect it
Yes to more flower Roulette! I know you say it takes years but I'm in awe of your talent & can't hardly wait till I'm able to paint so beautifully. I did buy the book, so do i sketch these first then try to paint?.. Can you tell where you got that clip? Really want answer to this one, please. I ordered some way too small!
I didn’t sketch first. It’s up to you. The clip is from Amazon. I don’t have the link but if you look for one that says large rose gold clip, it’s should be similar
I don’t understand why, when using a book based on flower colors, you didn’t try to copy the colors reflected in the book. In the book the peony was more purple than pink and the stems and leaves are deeper green.
Wonderful! These peonies are so lifelike, they feel like I could just reach out and touch their petals. Please do more of this series.
Yes! More, please!
Enjoyed your flower painting! They turned out so pretty. I would love to see more from the Flower Color Guide.

Beautiful. I loved how you painted from the center then the petals.
I love roulette. I also love how you have so little paint on your brush. It seems I never have enough water in my paint so my colors are very strong. Thank you for the video. 🎉🎉🎉
Love this! Emma, you should do more from the flower color guide. Beautiful!
Got my second subscription box. Love it, I can tell you really spent some time choosing the exact supplies. I am looking forward to using the new brushes.
Definitely play roulette! I have the book and love how you attack them! Awesome!

a-may-zing girl x
Yes do more of these . What is the name of the flower guide
You should be on steckbook skool
I have a smaller version of the same book, and found the photos overexposed on the white backgrounds. Is the larger version better?
Fun.

Paint something besides all flowers
Next time pick something that you haven’t done before. Some weird flower.
