M50 was well worth the 14 month!! wait. Main regret that I didn't order Lazer lights - need 'em for cornering lights, and you want those. Ride quality is great. Its a grand coupe, not a sports car, so there is refinement. Range is disappointing. Figure 230 miles on 19" wheels, but you need to leave 20%+ for reserve and shouldn't routinely charge above 80% or so - so you end up recharging every 110 to 150 miles. 500 mile days on road trips are challenging also since you want to top up near day's end. Occasional waits and many chargers run slower than they should. Still, probably the best car I've ever had, and I've had a few. Bonus: one pedal driving is like driving a manual without needing to shift gears.
Agree on the B mode, I still find myself reaching or thinking of paddle shifters at moments, thanks for adding real owner info here these are great notes to share with potential drivers, congrats on your M50, curious what color you chose?
-I'm not sure what the hell BMW was thinking by eliminating cornering lights. Adding corning light for $1000 is a bit much. I have a 23 430 GC. Shame on me; I just assumed certain things were standard on a $60k cars.

People don’t buy Tesla’s to save the planet anymore. And let’s talk about the bugs and software of the BMW i4 and how trash it is. Let’s talk about the subpar sound system compared to a model 3. BMW is a decade behind Tesla as are all electric vehicle manufacturers when it comes to software and EV drive innovation. But I’ll give it to Mercedes and BMW, your interiors are much nicer.
I'm happy to not having bought a bmw, the UI is way cleaner, faster on the Tesla, the car knows what i want, and i don't have to push 10 buttons before starting my ride. The cheap chrome plastic on the bmw is just bling bling for the chinese market.
