    The E40 trim is also a single motor RWD like the E35, it just has the larger battery of the dual motor AWD versions (the X40 and M50)

    Totally agree. I've had my i4 M Sport for the last four months and I absolutely love it. Very fair review.

    Very informative and helpful! I've been meaning to check out BWM's I series and with this video; I now know that they are a great fit for what I'm looking for. Very honest and excellent review. P.S I'm still not doing the Quantitative Analysis project.

    What are the winter temps in your area? I'm in the SW and it gets cold some days (35-40F) but never below freezing. Wondering how range would be affected.

    Suggestion: get a heavy duty NEMA 14-50 receptacle for your EVSE.

    Coming from and X5, didn't you find the cabin a little cramped? I'm coming from an X3. When I sat in the eDrive, I though the moonroof really robbed headroom, and the whole thing felt tight.

      I do not at all feel like it's tight, but I am only 5'6", so I'm pretty comfortable in there. 6' person can even be in seat behind me with an inch or so in front of their knees. I did have an overweight friend in the passenger seat once, and he was VERY crammed and uncomfortable.

      @@mrbrianwhite I’m 6’3”. I fit nicely in a 430i with no sunroof. But the i4 eDrive with sunroof is a whole different experience.

    I've had mine since the end of May 2024 and would exchange it tomorrow, range is by far the worst problem of owning an EV I only get approx 170 miles for an 80% charge, I regret getting the car, I only drive using Eco Pro mode the lowest power setting available and in B mode getting some power back into the battery. Also, all the apps on the car, most of which are turned off by BMW but can be turned on for a further fee, I paid £53.000 ($69.500) for mine brand new at the end of May 2024, It's the range that is the problem, during a colder day last week I had charged my car to 80% and the range was only 170 mile, 1% had gone by the time I had driven 1 mile, I drove 10 mile that day and lost 10% of the battery power. Would I buy it again, No, I did have a 2020 BMW X1 iDrive 2Ltr twin turbo I so much wish I had kept that one and saved a fortune. BMW EVs are OK for use in town if you have a home charger, don't buy if you don't, as the cost of public chargers beggars belief at up to 79p a Kw hour, ie, cost from say 20% to 80% would cost well over £46+ wait to buy an EV when better batteries come along ie, Solid State Batteries. ranges of up to 750 miles and a 10-minute charge time. EVs will get better, advice, on waiting to buy one, don't buy at this time.
