Ever since physical media stopped being the primary mode of delivery for games, we've basically become dependent on companies to continue supporting their clients in order to access our games. However, there are platforms like GOG that allow users to download games for local access without having to deal with any DRM.
Horizon Zero Dawn was 2017. Only a few weeks before Breath of the Wild. Digital Foundry did a side by side. The PS4 to PS5 remaster looks like a bigger upgrade than any of the PS5 to PS5 Pro games.
Another great episode in the books! 😁👏 Trish is so awesome! She made my day by echoing my humble opinion that HORIZON doesn't need a remaster yet. I miss physical media already! 😢
No which is why I like Buying physical disc but nowadays I started to keep them in their cases unopened being I do that with films and action figures. Especially Horror Films. I started that habit when I released my 1st Indie film on disc and never looked back.
I am mostly physical. I will only buy small indie games digitally, unless I know a physical is coming later, like Peppergrinder or Plucky Squire. Games like Black Myth Wukong or Alan Wake 2 I will wait. I will finally be getting AW2 this month. I waited for the physical of Baldurs Gate 3.
Well it’s an audio only podcast so that only has a certain amount of reach for a video based platform like YT but for some people YT is what they use for podcasts
@@naomikyle it still counts views the same way afaik. It just seems weird you get somewhat low engagement, but have a massive subscriber base, especially given how professional/well setup you seem

I had to fact check myself and you’re right! 2017. Feels like ages ago because I was still at IGN.

Your interview with Trisha was on point, and I still buy physical games to date.
Thank you! I haven’t bought a physical game in a minute maybe I should change that

101K subs yet only around 1k views per video? How does that work
