Steph, my little dog (a whopping 3 lbs) was too small for puppy toys. I wound up getting him cat toys. Of course, I told him they were big dog toys. All was well. Hugs and kisses to Sir Galahad from South Florida, USA.
Galahad is adorable he seems so sturdy and strong I cannot imagine he is smaller and Lancelot. You know Lancelot will always be the dog that won your heart to caring a dog. The chapel absolutely takes my breath away. I’ve never seen anything like it so compelling and beautiful. To watch the renovator as he so effortlessly painted that black line was fascinating. Little Galahad is fitting right in, and seeing a little ratter at LaLande again makes me so happy.
The garden looks beautiful. Seeing your Mama with Galahad on her lap is so heartwarming. Her hair looks lovely too. The boys assisting with the renovations and being given gold treasure - just too adorable.

The delightful atmosphere at Lalande is created not just by the majestic chateau but by the lovely people and their natural loving comradery. It reminds me so much of my childhood growing up in a house full of Stanford international exchange students and their families. After a few months they would get settled in official housing but everyone had such a good time they would frequently come back for tea or Sunday breakfast. Overflows sat out on the patios under the huge trees.. It was a wonderful place to be a kid. Always such fun , everyone kind, and you never knew what languages you were going to get when you came into the living room. my mother would resort to French if people's English was slow , my sister and grandfather would try Spanish and my stepdad German ,Yiddish, Hungarian or Russian. Somehow we all got by. Good people are alike all over the world.
Little boys are just so darling, treasures of gold quite charming. Love seeing Benoit again so soon, ithey will be missed when finished. Didn't understand too much of what he said but It was so delightful to hear French as usual I did not mind. Loved getting a few words I understood! Happy day! Isabelle is such a jewel!

It's become a race for me to get to the lovely porceline shop but, as always, everything is SOLD OUT! Makes me sad but I've saved money that could go to a more expensive purchase later on. Missed the walks you shared and right now the flowers are out and it looks so lovely. I grew Russian sage in a corner of my backyard. I loved it because of its silvery grey stalks. Very fragrant too.
I so want to know the conversation between you and the incredible artist that are working on the chapel, but for some reason there isn’t any translation, or even in French. And since my CC seems unable to translate. Well , I think it went well with laughter and everyone seemed happy. Would love to understand the conversation at some point, I always love hearing what is happening in the chapel. ❤️

Is he a permanent member of the Lalande family now? Love the work he's doing. Loved seen the chapel interior again. Always enjoy the artisans. The transformation they have already done on the chapel is almost too much to process. Stunning. I am so glad to see that y’all got Sir Galahad. I made the mistake of waiting two years after my sweet cocker spaniel a 15 1/2 years passed away. Two years later, I got two chocolate cocker spaniels and I love them dearly, but I grieved the loss of him all over again Terribly two years later. I’m so glad you didn’t wait and he is absolutely precious!❤🎉❤
Phillip, I love individual plates to display, I think they are so decorative and add to my color scheme. My favorite plate you had on the table was the gold edged plate, so beautiful. I generally look for plates with flowers all over the plate and put them on a picture stand to display. Kathy USA 🇺🇸
