is there a way on how to make the animation happen at a specific time? like not directly at the start of the game but instead is activated when going on a specific area??? Is it possible to do inside the editor instead of the sqf stuff?
To have it trigger on specific time ingame, under the condition box of the trigger - Replace 'this' to daytime isEqualto 13.5 (for example is 1:30 pm ingame) If you want it to activate when going into specific area, in the trigger- change the Activation dropdown list to "anybody" (or any specific faction you wish) then under Activation Type dropdown list, select "Present" Sorry, this is the method i know so far after studying bohemia wiki
@@Rodz88 I actually found out a way to do this not long ago. I basically made a trigger which activates another trigger... Like on the condition of trigger2 I put triggerActivated "trigger1". Then I simply set the time with the min-mid-max to time it since sleep command doesnt work with my arma... Thanks for the answer by the way 😃
hey Thanks for sharing - i followed you step by step and I'm stock at 10:52 after putting the script > : call(["lol",1.5,10,1.5,45] spawn BIS_fnc_cancelMarker;) . i see the error message and don't let me to accept it . the error is : On activation: Missing )
Technically it can work in MP, just that it only trigger on local but not server side. Downside of this is not everyone will get the same effect, because it trigger locally in their PC ( they only see it if each of them trigger it on their on PC) I haven't learned on how to do it on MP (execute script server side). But you still can use this method.
@@Rodz88 Amazing! Would love to see how to do this in MP + with voice recordings for the briefing notes. How would you have this initialise from a trigger that is not just game on?
@@Rodz88 AYYYYE.. Didn't expect that!!.. accent like similar worh🤣🤣 let's play arma 3 tgt in future.. getting a gaming rig soon.. so gon make a scenario.. will inform you when everything is ready..

I think u are using the wrong brakets after CALL a d at the end. U should use curly brakets { }.
@Rodz88 have you managed to find a way for this to work in MP or is it already working?

How do you do this in multiplayer briefing ? Do you just change out the sleep to uiSleep ?
And why not use the function BIS_fnc_eventTimeline ?
Hey buddy. I have not tested in MP. So far im focus on Singleplayer as im still learning about scripting.

@@harperre to make it work in multiplayer you need to create markers locally for each player. Otherwise markers will be corrupted because of desync
@@Krzyciu_ firstly thanks for the reply! What exactly does that mean "create locally" and how would you go about doing that?

Openmap annoys me it doesnt work... tried on condition, it opens at the very start which I dont like, tried on activation, shows type bool error.
