These antistasi videos have all been a massive help, started less than a week ago and already know almost everything about it. Nice one mate 👌🏼 definitely deserve more views. (Ps if anyone fancies to start up antistasi on hard with me give me a shout)
There are some useful stuff from my personal experiences: 1. HQ's position is extremely important for easy early game. It's totally depends on map's terrain. Flat terrain like Altis gives player a huge advantage because it's easier to move without being blocked by checkpoints / outposts. Choosing areas having many towns (player can access easily) gives fast and easy money and HR push. 2. Do some "quests" without asking for "quests". Since quests are given randomly, it might be hard for player to complete quests (lack of HR, good equipments, low friendly AI's combat skill). Some actions like destroy enemy's checkpoint still gives player money. It's a trade-off (no money bonus from mission completed versus hard quests). An other tactic is go to under cover mod, steal enemy's vehicles from resources or factory and sell vehicles in HQ. In early game, enemy AI have slow reaction so it could be easy stealing vehicle and escape before getting shot. Depends on mods (I'm playing with RHS), USA has armored vehicle so it gives higher chance of success. 3. Manipulate quests. There's a setting that can set max range of quests (events) that Petro can give. It means some quests are predictable. For example: if there's only town close to the HQ, it's only town that has "supply mission" or "kill the traitor" mission. The same goes to capture missions (administrator building, resources, ....). This one gives huge chance of making more money. 4. Destroy checkpoint is 1 of easiest quests IMO. My tactic is to go to undercover, get close to enemy's checkpoint, get out and throw some explosion nades. In early game, enemy has slow reaction so it's very easy to throw 2 nades before getting shot. I believe this mission is completed when enemy's squad leader is killed. If player wants to save money, then just throw nades while covering behind vehicle, press Y and give money to faction (which saves a lot of money from being killed). I found that if enemy spawns with sandbag and .50 cal, it's really hard to clear the checkpoint. Otherwise it would be free money and equipments. (Tip: Enemy might spawns with a vehicle that has gunner in open turret. always bring a gun to kill the gunner). 5. CQB and capture administration's place's equipment. In early game, player's equipment is not really good so having a CQB battle might decrease a huge gap. Throw nade to the room that has enemy is easiest way to clear the room. Kill enemy's squad leader is condition to complete this quest. This quest can be manipulate like mentioned in 3rd. I'm not sure if there's any raid, take the loot box and escape (idk if enemy's ammo box can respawn). Admin building should have enemy's vehicle so steal enemy's vehicle is an other good tactic too. 6. Thinking about equipments to buy from black market so player can unlock a lot of good equipments without wasting money. A bad example is I was unlocking AK variants, then 7N22 ammo. Then my favorite switched to MK18. It wasted a lot of money. My personal advice is to choose the gun that has low weight, high damages and accuracy. Ammo's type should relates to weight so (friendly) infantry with custom equipments should have as good equipments as and less weight as possile 7. Spawn's mechanism exploit. I believe it depends on spawn's range setting. Player can do a fun game by "ramming speed" with cars and kill a bunch of enemy's garrison. When enemy spawns, usually when player gets close to the spawn's location, they are likely stay close to each other. So 1 good "car accident" can kill the whole enemy's squad. This tactic gives a huge advantage scavage equipments without facing a disadvantage gun fight. If enemy's QRF comes (heli, APC), destroy them with light AT or throw nade before enemy squad separates out. 8. Spec Ops's equipments gives huge advantage of having the best armor (and might be guns, free optics and suppressor) very early. Spec Ops can spawn with mission "Kill the spec ops" which is very hard to success. But sometime, spec ops comes as QRF (quick response force) to help outpost / resources being attacked. I 1 time saw a spec ops squad reinforced "destroy enemy's artillery" mission. Depends on situation, player can use "vehicle tactic" or "nade tactic" (use any HE's weapon like nade launcher, light AT will do the same) to clear spec ops squad easily. 9. Quick unlock equipments (depends on mods). If player know enemy's equipment, it's easier to unlock by scavage enemy's bodies. For example: in RHS, Rus gives advantage of having good body armor in early game, while USA gives advantage of unlocking M4 rifle. (edit) 10: Using the marker on the map. It's very useful to mark enemy's position during combat, so you won't be like "oh shit where's his body". Later on, making plans with maps to control friendly's squads / fire teams should be better (and it gives realistic experiences).
update: kill spec ops mission can be very easy depends on terrain. with flat terrain, just use light armored vehicle to ram enemy. Enemy could use AT so it is safer to use normal car first so they shoot AT round
Subscribed and liked 👍🏼 very helpful video. I've tried playing antistasi before but was always too impatient to learn it properly. Your videos have made it much easier to get started again.
Hey, man! Your content inspired me to go back to Antistasi after many many years. Thanks a lot! I've been struggling with the HC mode, though. Nothing happens when I press the keybinds (space + lctrl).
I'm glad its done that. nothing better than finding a love for a game again. Make sure you have HC squads out before hitting L ctrl and space otherwise it wont work. otherwise I'm not sure why it wouldn't work for you. check key bindings and or maybe a mod is messing with it.
@jboi. You’ll have to bring the commander menu up (tab) then move along to syndicate and at the bottom it should say move HQ. Take petros with you to another location, look at him and it should give option to set up HQ
You don't need to unload vehicles with equipment, just throw it in the garage and it should automatically put equipment into the arsenal. Also for new players, when you start having "your" money, press Y, press Players and money, and dump almost everything to the faction. By default you lose 30% of your money when you die, so Hermit here would lose lot of money out of that 47k he has. You don't need to have that much money on person unless you're going to arms dealer to buy weapons/attachments/ammo. Vehicles bought from him use your factions money (if you're the commander).
You do if you want to use the vehicles again and again without having to take them in and out of a garage. Also if you don’t want to purchases loot crates every time, also if you want the loot but want to sell the vehicle 😅 Don’t put all of your money in to faction. You need some yourself for recruiting and buying stuff if you ever do, I don’t bother with the arms dealer, too expensive for what you get out of it and you can get everything you need to fight with for free from the island 👌 Also that 47k took roughly a couple hours to build up so loosing 30% really isn’t that much when you have so much coming in 😉
@@theurbanhermit365 True. I just usually throw vehicles in garage to get them restocked and fixed. I think I said few episodes back that you need only 2k money on you to recruit. Arms dealer is useful if you have 20-ish weapons and want to unlock it, so just go and buy missing ones. It's kinda luck based what "special" weapons you get from enemy loot crates, like different type of mg's. At least with mods installed that add weapons, you'll have like 50 different ones and none unlocked 😂
@kettujabamiesukkeliukko yeah tbh doing enough ammo truck missions at the start gets you going with the basics, I’ve yet to use the trader in the current series 🤣

I is normal inventory key, so again not sure. I’m only using Antistasi Ultimate and CBA-A3 mods for this series. So if you’re having issues I would verify the internet of the game via steam then if that doesn’t solve it check through mods, you could always look through your keybindings to make sure they are on default also 🙂
@@theurbanhermit365 I appreciate you for explaining all of this, I recently switched from reforger to arma 3 and the controls and how much is available is literally so overwhelming I wasn’t prepared.
I need help getting servers not to lag after hours of gameplay. Sadly it falls into the same issue ck3 has with its campaign lifetime. I have a high tier PC but nothing can combat the issue in game engine. I wonder if anyone had solved this issue. I'm literally two bases away from having all of Tonoa...
I'm not sure if this helps or not but I saw a different UA-camr playing the overthrow mod but he said he was using his old gaming PC to host a local server to make it run better. If you have a spare old PC it's something to look into. I am currently downloading arma 3 just to play this mod so I'll look into it and test for myself.
@@Boss-Possum yeah I’ve yet to host a public server so I don’t think I can help tbh, might be worth checking out though, if it’s worked for one no reason it won’t work for others👌
I find with most guides for Arma they tell you what to do but they never tell you what buttons/keys to press And the controls of the menu are very limited. How do we get in those menus
Yeah they can be very useful tools, but never use them near HQ, I did it once. Never again 🤣🤣 I was going to include mortars in another video but they don’t seem to be working at the current time. Well the AI side of things that is. So I’m going to wait for the new build and then do it.
@@theurbanhermit365 nah just fast travel to the closest resource point or town and than go ballistic. Get an ammo truck and thats essentially cheating. Just piss off every couple of bursts so your mortar doesnt get hammered. Took chearnus with 2 other guys that way. Indirect fire is insanely strong. Problem is it makes the game a tad bit too easy for my taste
@@theurbanhermit365 its good its there. gets rid of some of the tedium, especially for short distance stuff. drive for 3 minutes or fast travel? Also when you play with just a couple of friends you dont want to leave everything to the AI (except when it works like in your case) so you gotta be in many places simultaneously But a playthrough completely without it would be interesting tho
I'm a little late with this comment, but if you are willing, you can actually wait 5 mins for the withstand to refresh and get up like normal. Don't ask me how I know...

@MidwestSurvivalCompany yeah there’s a lot more to it compared to Reforger haha.
Definitely go through the keybinds and double check those.
I'm unsure on this. I've not had major issues myself yet. Maybe someone in the community can help.
Anyone ever have the issue of their commander menu not working? I double checked my keybinds, but it doesn't pop up, no matter what I bind to it
I’ve not myself, try verifying the files via steam and see if that resolves it 🙂
same for me, still no solution
@@itsmishki7005 Same, tried verifying on Steam and nothing 😔
I would say ask in the AU Discord, the Mods are there so they may be able to help a bit further 🫡
I find with most guides for Arma they tell you what to do but they never tell you what buttons/keys to press And the controls of the menu are very limited. How do we get in those menus
Command menus ?
I specified how to get in to these menus 🙂
Tab and Y are your normal key binds but as I said I had changed mine in settings 👌
@@theurbanhermit365 yes you did lol sorry budd
@@travisbanner8695 no problem at all, as long as you know now that’s all that matters. Glad it helped 🙂
How to get antistatic ultimate tanoa
Tanoa is part of the Old man DLC
can you buy a tank ?
You can buy vehicles from the arms dealer, it’s been updated since I last looked as well 🙂
Stealing mortars from military bases is literally meta
Yeah they can be very useful tools, but never use them near HQ, I did it once. Never again 🤣🤣
I was going to include mortars in another video but they don’t seem to be working at the current time.
@@warlockiii1846 yeah I find fast travelling looses some of the enjoyment also, early game anyway. Yeah mortars are OP when used correctly lol
@@theurbanhermit365 its good its there. gets rid of some of the tedium, especially for short distance stuff. drive for 3 minutes or fast travel?
Also when you play with just a couple of friends you dont want to leave everything to the AI (except when it works like in your case) so you gotta be in many places simultaneously
But a playthrough completely without it would be interesting tho
I'm a little late with this comment, but if you are willing, you can actually wait 5 mins for the withstand to refresh and get up like normal. Don't ask me how I know...
Yeah if you have it turned on you can use it once every 5 minutes 🙂
this all changed, the set rebel load out. tab not there and cant find it
Strange, was there when I last looked myself..
