Is pig suede good? Nike has started using pig suede on dunks. IMO it feels luxurious and high quality. Plus the dye colours look really nice. If pig suede is a cheaper alternative with all these features than I think it’s going to be very popular in the future.
I am not familiar with pig suede. Maybe it's characteristics don't lend well to clothes. And yeah, curious to see if gains popularity. Could be a religious/cultural stigma at play too.
Sick. Found the last local furrier, they cost 60-100 for repairs, and 90 for cleanings. Thought it would be hundreds each. Edit. Its an over weekend/ a week if really bad. And that is one guy.
Your description of what suede is isn't wholly accurate. There are different types of suede. Split suede is just a type of suede. There's also just reverse suede that's not split and much more desirable. Jesper at Shoegazing has a useful article about it.

Got a seude frontier/ tracker/ pirate style coat for 20$. So not exactly true my guy. Same for my vintage mink vest. 20$. Just gotta know how to look.
Great video Lucas! Keep em coming.
Would love to see your take on a few more accessible brands like Jos. A Bank or Eddie Bauer or even some footwear.
