Chip spent more time on the bumpers than some would on an entire car! Okay, that's an exaggeration, but this attention to detail is why his vehicles are superior and show winners!
Sweet!! Miss seeing you in Tustin at the HomeDepot getting garbage cans! Out in TN now where I got my first 72 C10 to restore. Be well with your family! This project is great! Glad this episode came out. Cheer brother!
I love all of your builds, but the 67, I think is the best one. It brings memories of my 68 C10 and all the work involved teaching my kids how to transform a classic truck into something really great! A new V8 and going from a 3 on the tree to a 700R4 and adding Power steering, Disc brakes, Lowering the suspension 3.5 in the front and 4" in the rear. Air conditioning and a nice leather interior. It was a project that took a few years and adding the chrome billet steering column from Ididit and the LED lighting really worked out nicely. I love the switchback leds that offer white running lights and amber turn signals. Heck I converted my white '06 GMC (sister truck) to all leds too! Thank You for all that you have done to show us to the clean look of vehicles that can be imagined and inspired by all that you have done over the years! God Bless you and your family!
Great work as always. I hope that in the final segment you'll give us all enough time to absorb all the fine details. These videos end so suddenly that we can't really look at everything that was done. We want to see that talent shine through.
Thanks Chip. Your enthusiasm makes this fun -- "It'll look cool". And it does. Feel free to show us more of the finished product. It is cool to see your "hands-on" skills at work. Thanks for showing us.
Wow Chip, that was amazing. I love what you do. So accurate and professional. I wish you could do my 91 C1500 SWB. It's very sentimental to the wife and I but it's seen better days.
Mr. Foose, me siento muy identificado con Ud. ya que me gustan los autos de anteriores décadas, y sobre todo los Chevrolet, como por lo general los que restauran Uds. Además es un genio dibujando!
Your project truck is a work of art! Love seeing those old trucks getting saved and rebuilt. The grill on my '68 looked like that it had hit a deer. I can only hope that I can smooth it out half as good as how your grill had turned out.
These videos are amazing! I don't want to sound like a jerk, so please forgive me and don't take this as an insult. The audio in your videos is really low. I have to crank up the volume as high as it goes and still wish it was a bit louder. Keep up the amazing work, Chip! You are the man!
Hi Chip, I’m wondering if our Dads both went “ to the same school “ my Dad would ask “ well, did ya get it right this time?” To which he would say “ if you had time to do it over, you had time to do it right the first time....... thanks for passing along the tips that make any of your projects top shelf 👍
Since the turning lights were recessed to were you pretty well have to be well ahead of the front to see that the trauck is turing . I would have boxed in the light with a vertical piece between the cross bars and then used a very high gloss finish or chrome piece to amplify the light and send out a beam like a flash light. The Upper horizontal could be black so the when the light is off the black gets reflected on the bottom horizontal to appear dark .
IMO 1967 was a genius styling year for all brands. "67 Riviera, Corvette, Corvair, Chevelle, Cougar, Mustang, Satellite, 'Cuda, and many more were beautiful. Even the Rambler Classic was superior styling in '67. Then came the Lumpy, boxy, gargantuan mid 70's.
Awesome Mr. Foose. I hope some day you can do a 62 Tbird. I'd love to see what you would do with it.. Had one in Hign School and want one again... Almost bought one a few years ago but the wite said it was an 'old man's car'...haha guess i am an old man at that!
I always hoped Overhauling would have turned into this, just Chip and his perfectionism and fab skills (and genuine personality). I like Chris but the pranks, and rushing almost sunk it.
Its looking amazing, but does it make you happy? and is this the truck you wanted? We need to see you happy and with the vehicle for you that you always wanted.
Chip, I have a couple of vehicles that I know you are perfect for... I’ve wanted you to take on the challenge for years & years now... 1979 Dodge Magnum (44 Edition) & a 1983 Dodge Ram 150... It would be the best of both worlds... Show & Go!!!
Two reason: first, the cars on the west coast don't rust as bad due to the difference in the weather; second, money can find you just about anything you want.
Shane Redwine, I agree.....I bought a new “68” my senior year of high school it was a big window. I was told that it was the first year they had the big rear window!
I did a little research and found I am wrong about my earlier statement. Once again the Master is dead on. This is from classicchevytrucks.org/custom-series-1967-72/, In 1967, GM offered both the small window and large rear window cab. However, between 1968 and 1972 the small window cab was only available on the C-60 or 2 ton truck.
@@boogieman3165 I have a 67 c10 stepside with the small window. Small windows seem more common on stepsides to me. Don't think I've seen a small on a fleetside.
Working metal is a real art.
So cool.
Anybody who's ever spent time in a body/fab shop knows this is 10x more detailed instruction than you get from a year experience
An extraordinary amount of work went into making the coolest truck ever. Huge respect.
Chip spent more time on the bumpers than some would on an entire car! Okay, that's an exaggeration, but this attention to detail is why his vehicles are superior and show winners!
Nice detail with the Rydell Grand forks Chevrolet emblem
Foose the bumper whisperer nice clean work done by a true pro nice work foose
His attention to detail and effortless creativity is what makes him the best.
Hey chip from Australia, love ya work, wish we could watch whole episodes. Cheers mate stay safe

I've been watching Chip's work for years now and there is no way to describe his ability and talent other than he is The Master. Plain and simple.
Plain an simple is what I say. U do reckinze talent don't ya lol

Those bumpers are very trick.....nice work......
Thank you so much for an amazing clinic. I have learned several things from you today and I appreciate it. Thank you!
Relax Mr. Foose, your almost there and of course this is done before we see it, I remember it has to look bad before it can look fabulous
I could watch your work for hours. Real master. I met you 2 years ago in your workshop this was a real pleasure. Best wishes from Poland.
Very nice. Thanks for sharing
I can only dream of what he could do for my truck!
Could not imagine the cost.
Wow Chip, that was amazing. I love what you do. So accurate and professional. I wish you could do my 91 C1500 SWB. It's very sentimental to the wife and I but it's seen better days.
YOU should do it!!!

Definitely making one of those little bar stock bender tools for my shop. Thanks for the excellent tip.
Getting lessons like this from Chip Foose, just makes my day.
Amazing fabrication work, and a great eye for design. I’ve enjoyed watching your builds over the years in magazines and tv, thanks for sharing

@tscooter22 you are cranking the sound up because you need to hear that repetitive guitar riff at max volume, because you love it.
@@Franksey180 That riff on a tape loop is inside my brain, now. HATE IT!

Hello Mr. Foose, I love what you do. Best wishes from Germany.
Legend has it Chip has tinnitus.
I think 69 RS hideaway headlights could be worked into the grill. Never been done before. Chip you are the guy to make it happen.
Mr Foose ! One of the best person and artist in the world 😬👍👍👍
Greetings from France
Ur The Man Chip..😎.👍

Nice Work Chip This Guy Is Very Talent 👍
Magic.
Love videos like this! Thanks Chip for sharing the knowledge.
Looks wicked Chip!! That truck is a long way from its original home. Rydell Chevrolet in Grand Forks ND.

Blocking the bumpers when in Copper, that's how you win a Riddler, never crossed my mind.
Thanks Chip....Awesome, truck, Thanks for sharing.
Hello Chip that is awesome dude, that's one beautiful truck. Appreciate you sharing I watch for more

ok. wow. your attention to detail is uncommon in today’s world
Its looking amazing, but does it make you happy? and is this the truck you wanted? We need to see you happy and with the vehicle for you that you always wanted.
The signal lights look much better recessed and the bumpers give it a smoother not industrial look.
Very Cool, Thanks!

Great job as always keep up the great work.
Loving the truck overall, just surprised you're not using LED lighting.
Damm you’re good 😎👍
Esse cara manda muito!!!
Where do you find these mint condition trucks?! Every C10 I've owned has been trashed. I've never found one as nice as this.
Two reason: first, the cars on the west coast don't rust as bad due to the difference in the weather; second, money can find you just about anything you want.
Zach Yeager you can find them on Facebook Marketplace in North and South Carolina, Tennessee for a reasonable price in good shape
His networking is on point. The man has the connections!
Need some further away shots of the finished product, or maybe a 180deg spin and back, so we can see it from all angles and light. THX
Foose zindabad!
More baddassery at it's finest!
No more bolts or holes, how are the bumpers mounted?
You can weld the threaded bolts to the inside surface of the bumper, then make bumper mounting plates that pull the bumpers close to the body.
Chip, I thought that the big rear window didn't come out until 68?
Shane Redwine, I agree.....I bought a new “68” my senior year of high school it was a big window. I was told that it was the first year they had the big rear window!

What color white is this truck....Im doing a 66 C10 that was 521 White originally but really like this white...its bright
I bet Chip has surfed the "Wedge",,,ya gotta be a "steely eyed Missile Man " to ride those waves,,,
Is there an advantage to starting with a chrome bumper vs a paintable bumper?
I think they're only available in chrome.
Muy buen trabajo Saludos desde puerto rico
Chip needs to revamp the AMC Gremlin
Eu não entendo nada do que ele fala.
Só ver o trabalho dele já da para entender, praticamente tudo.
Top!!

What an amazing truck! When I win the lottery I will hire you to build a truck or 12. 😂😂
😎
How bout the bumpers mated with the side of the truck
Why are all the hammering an grinding sounds muted by the same tune over and over? Spoils the experience a bit...
