Part seven of the series reveals the final look of this custom C-10! Chip Foose walks you through the many modifications to the exterior, interior, engine, wheels/tires, bed, exhaust, grille and more and even gets the truck on the open road for a test drive.
In this eight part series Chip Foose chronicles his custom 1967 Chevy C-10 truck build, showing you projects and solutions you can apply at home along the way.
The build was inspired by an original '67 Camaro Z/28 motor Chip found years ago. He dreamt about a Camaro performance packaged C-10, offered by the factory in 1967 (hence the “C/28” moniker) and set out to create it.
The weather striping is from a 2014 Chevrolet pickup front doors and trimmed to fit.

Honestly, Chip is one of the few builders that I would give a car to and just say "do what you want". nearly everything he does has a timeless classy look to it.
We need this guy back on television. Somebody, somewhere, please make this happen
Just send a team and film his everyday workshop work, even a livestream…. :-)
Awesome truck Chip....your a true master....
I tell everyone chip, Your the best builder out there, Great work Again. GOD BLESS
Attention to detail is next level!
Have had the opportunity to meet Chip twice. Actually walked down Woodward Ave with him during Dream Cruise several years ago looking at cars. A great talent and genuinely nice man.
I love the guys work and attention to detail... 👍👍
I love this truck..... Very awesome. Great Job Chip Foose
AWESOME!!! I love Chip’s attention to detail, originality with little things, and his overall vision with every build he does! Incredibly talented! God given talent!!!
Beautiful truck Chip!
Thank sweet Baby Jesus for letting Chip come to the real world of entertainment and show.YT and CF are an awesome combo. Thanks guys and keep up the hard work.
That Weather stripping idea is great.
Beautiful job. What an honour it would be 2 meet chip foose.
chip ,,, you are the best. pleasure watching.
Best quote ever, "My Dad always taught me that if you're going to do something, do it right." Your work ethic shines through brightly, Chip, but especially on this project. Your team did a GREAT job on this build.
Chip Foose is a class act, through and through! And brilliant one at that! Rarely do you find an individual who is at the top of their game in their profession, and who is also genuinely humble. Chip Foose is such an individual!
I watched all your overhaulin shows u have a talent that nobody else doesn't have keep up the great work
Love it, not too slammed, lots of really nice touches. A+
In 1974 I bought my first pickup truck when I got out of the USMC. The truck was a 1967 Chevrolet CST [Custom Sport Truck] short/wide bed. It came from the factory with bucket seats and a "buddy" seat in the middle, which enclosed a storage compartment beneath the seat bottom. Big back window. Very cool. Also had a factory tach, full instrumentation, A/C, power steering and power brakes. On the outside of the doors, where Foose's truck calls out Custom, mine was CST. Very cool rig.
You feel Mr. Fooses' passion for his craft/artistry. So rare for someone who follows their passion and doesn't give up. Congratulations!
So beautiful. To work in Foose’s shop would be such a rush. If I were forty years younger that would be the dream job.
Definitely a nice truck I hope to see it in person someday!
Thank you for keeping the door handles.
Uncle Foose, you can totally leave that in the will for me ❤️
I would love to have a truck like that awesome build
I've watched your builds since I was a young teen. Your thought process is so unique and I think that's what separates you from the pack.
I love Chips designs. Very timeless. And it’s nice to see him paint a vehicle other than silver or blue
I've got a 67 Step Side C-10 that has been on a slow track, however, the Camaro bumpers have been part of my plan for a while now. Very nice detail. Mine is still in pieces until I finish my garage space. Can't wait. Thank you for sharing your incredible talents.
Chip’s imagination, vision and execution are above & beyond!
In true car guy fashion. Was going to leave it stock... but ended up redoing everything. Amazing Truck!
Master of master car builders! Chip Foose.
Cool. Nothing less. Watched you for years. You started the rest you did.
Nicely done! Looks factory. One of my favorite designs 67-72.
I love the simplicity and period-correct look to it. Out of the countless builds, this is my favorite now from Mr. Foose. Bravo!
Very nice truck. I wish that a truck like this was available in 1967. The custom details are fantastic.
Rmember seeing this man's work in the magazines back in the day before all the TV and internet Fame. Cool to see how his Brand has grown
The perfect truck! Nobody does it like Chip Foose. I had a friend who passed that knew everything there is to know about 67-72 Chevy trucks and he always had one in the works. I wish he could have lived to see this truck. Thanks Chip.
What a sweet truck. Gorgeous details.
great channel, keep up the great work....
I think the truck turned out great. And I have to say, this is one of the few vehicles done by Foose that has wheels that look good. Not going with monster 20" wheels for once is a nice change.
Old comment but I'm with you on that. Oversized wheels are the only thing that put me off foose projects and I was pleasantly surprised to see a functional, well-proportioned wheel choice on this truck. Everything else is as flawless as always with foose builds.
I just did write something like this. It´s so smooth and no strange big inch wheels
Beautiful I had a 67 in light blue super truck had a granny gear and overload springs never failed to start even at 20 below ...true story back in the 1980s one of my all time favorite vehicles.
Love the sound the tailgate makes
I love this truck Chip ! You did it right . I am a fan , I live in Santa Barbara , born and raised . You da man ! David Figueroa
Welcome to restoration from TV world . Using parts you'll never find , tools you can't afford , in a garage that's bigger than the town you live in . I'm jealous . I find watching Foose , Stacey Davis & the like to be intimidating . Like I'll never have enough money or time to do something like this .
Bud Lee, True that. Chip has the talent and drive. Glad to see him share that to us, car lovers. Foose, Leno, Tim Allen, etc have air conditioned garages full of toys. Pretty sure they have employees to do the maintenance and upkeep. I don't envy that, glad they enjoy it. Of coarse they have sponsors and make millions of dollars. Think of this. If a regular non celebrity drove a truck this nice 1 time, it would be car jacked or ran over by somebody without insurance in 1 day.
Foosealicious! This is the absolute Best 1967 Chevy Project I've seen to date.
You are the King Chip
Every inch of detail was thoughtfully carried out. Fantastic vision
Great job!
Have to admit when I first saw this truck I didnt really care for it... but now that I've seen this thing close up. I'm loving it.
Impressive. Very clean lines
I like the wheels that were on their in the beginning.
Just another class act from Foose Designs
Thanks Chip.....you are the king of kustom design......awesome.
Excellent work Mr. Chip that os my dream truck keep up the good work sir. and God Bless you and your family stay safe
Love it. Simple, stock looking
Absolutely love this truck, especially when Chip had the rallye wheels on there. White is my favorite color on a vehicle...just looks clean, and perfect here. Well done, Mr. Foose!
awesome project !!
Gotta love it! Perfect! I have a 67 Camaro and love C10 trucks. Awesome combination, similar to when you put a 67 rs front clip on an el Camino on Overhaulin’. More classic Foose. Thank you.
It's a about the details! Love the way you updated the Service Parts identification sticker. Awesome truck!
the "foose is in the details"
That's a gorgeously sick truck Wow!
It's so nice to finally see Chip do something for him that makes him happy. Chip you deserve to have the truck.
This is spot-on. A 1967 sport version that continues the "Cameo" truck legacy! Chip, you are a true wizard!
Awesome looking truck ! Built from the worlds best artist..Mr Foose !
Amen 100%
Sos genio chip te admiro por tus obras de arte saludos desde argentina chaco
The detail Chip goes into is just crazy. Properly OCD, exactly what you want out of a restorer. Love the truck👍
Chip is Chip, he rolls with the client's desires and patiently works for them both Chip & his dad are Good people. The 67 is one day my dream truck I'm 61 maybe before I 67 I have one...
Nice work as always foose
I don't say this very often about Foose customs but... That is a great idea & a beautiful truck!!
That truck made me feel good.
That is way cool, well done!
Turned out amazing!
this guys artistic skill is only slightly rivalled by his ability to build sick automotive art
The absolute king of design and fabrication. Well done Chip!
The greatest custom builder and designer of all time 🐐
I think this is one of my fave C10 of all time.
As a kid I daydreamed about cars and concept "what ifs". Chip Foose brings his daydreams to life.
Those bumpers look so good on it
Man this truck is awesome!!!!!!
Mind has been blown by this beauty , just clean and it’s the idea of utilizing its factory lines , this hits all the right points in quality looks .
So clean looking way to go again Chip
Boys and their trucks! I know this was fun for you.God bless you and your family Aloha
Chip is the man! What an awesome C28! Orange is my color and I would certainly buy one just like that. Once again, you’ve outdone yourself!
I have been a faithful fan of you Chip and watched Overhauling religiously. I often picture having my 1968 Impala 2dr done by you but it's a pipe dream because i had to sell it due to some Financial hardships and the loss of my mother. What you do and the love of labour you pour into these fine vehicles is true artistry.
Such a beautiful Truck, Chip you never cease to amaze me.
En número 1, en cuanto a customs car. Fans de sus trabajos. Genio. Chips. 🇦🇷
Great work Chip 👍
For me it's the bumpers. This is one of my all time favorite trucks and the bumpers and roll pans bring it to perfection.
Awesome one of a kind truck! Great job.
Out of all the car builders out there you are the best by far. Love your work.
You have put a big smile on my face. Thank You Sir!
Chip, you are one amazing automotive artist & manufacturer. Very thoughtful design.
So admire your work.
Man so many ideas for my '67!!!
Brilliant in every way
Foose is an absolute master at modifying vehicles. I enjoy his builds and how his mind works.
I will take mine in the teal blue along with the smaller window in the back Please. 😆 Well done Sir. A man's truck.
Chip is one of those guys who can "geek" on details that the rest of us go alright. That glove box detail is the bees knees. The suspension, braking upgrades not to mention the stinky gas tank behind the seat removed upgrades it from 60s special effects to today's special effects.
What an Awesome build! Just like everything Chip builds a work of art.
What a craftsman
Pure genius!
"Beautiful truck," What a Special piece of Art Mr. Foose you have designed!!! I hope one day I will get the chance at restoring my all original 72 Chevy Cheyenne 402.
