Such vision from the greatest automotive talent in our history! Boyd was good, but Chip show's us how to be respectful, and honor those that have his life so enjoying and fruitful. God Bless the Folks, Wife, Sons, Daughters, and other special relatives and friends for their help to provide the strength Chip needed to succeed and live the dream of many of us!
Chip, When I visited with you at the shop last June I was so impressed with the details you and the team showed me. The Jag, your '32, the '57, your personal project the C/28 and the others left an indelable impression in my mind for first class craftsmen at work, especially you.
Well done on the truck, Chip. I always appreciate your small details and how you bring multiple different items together. My dream would be to have you and your team put together a 65 C10. Keep up the great builds!
Great to see Chip Foose back with fresh content. Absolutely wonderful. Two things.. 1, I would love to see the full story on the C/28 and 2, Hope against all hope that someday i get to see what Chip can do with a 62 T-Bird, my first and favorite car...sweet memories
Have been following this great man and his Dad for about 20 years. No one but Chip Foose does this level of work and his work is the highest level there is.. Used to love watching him and his Dad work together a long time ago.. I saw this truck at SEMA last week - just beautifully done !! Thank you, Chip Foose and Family for all the sacrifices you made for so many ! We are all so grateful ! I still have a black with white letters Foose T-shirt from probably 10+ years ago I have never worn.. :) I went to your shop a few years ago; of course you were gone, and I totally understand why.. You would never get anything done if you had all of us in your shop asking you questions.. You had an old Blazer in there that you were making for a movie star.. Hint - his first name is Keith.. :) Thanks again, mi Hermano' !!!!!
I learned something else today. I never knew there was a 67 (PANARAMIC) cab. I always thought the only difference between a 67 &68 were the small/large rear window. I guess ya don't always know what yathink ya know. Thanks Chip for the Chevy truck lesson.Hell I'm still dumbfounded!
Fooseification! Do Me Do Me Chip my ole 6/1/66 small rear window Chevy C-10 came with 292 inline 6 with OEM 4 barrel carburetor & 4speed with overdrive transmission My grandpa naught it new first shipment at the dealership September 1966...
I got to see this truck on a shop tour a few weeks ago. Looks fantastic. Great concept. Manufacturers should have done more things like this back in the day, even if it was limited runs. Keep the customers interested in the brand.
I've got a 1969 Chevy Nova SS...I've had this car for 45 years....had a burglary at my shop ...they stole the engine..tranny...and numerous parts...I had to stop working a few years back because of a disability...plans were when I retired to get it going...with the disability it put me way behind on bills...my daughters wrote Chip a few times to c if he could help me out...all the letters they submitted they never got a response...they just thought someone owning a muscle car that long would b an excellent story for overhauling....I am eventually gonna pass the car down to my grandson...but keep up the excellent work Chip...ur a real credit to custom car industry....👍👍👍👍
Chip, Been a big fan of yours for quite a few years. I recently posted on Jay Lenos channel that I've never seen any of your projects on there, I've received alot of responses to my post that your work is not appropriated, personally I think your work is one of the best especially being a role model to the younger generation and they don't hand out the ridler's award to just anybody. So glad that you are on UA-cam now since I only have local channels on my TV. Keep up the good work and looking forward to seeing you here.
Thank you mr. Chip Foose. I had no idea you have a UA-cam channel. I loved all your overhauling shows. I'm glad to see you on UA-cam I'm subscribing keep the videos coming
I love the original design and what if Chevy did this thinking. Keeping it looking old stock with the subtle characteristics you added from the Z28. You are more than welcome to work your magic on my white '72 Cheyenne!!!
This is the content I've been looking forward to from this channel! Can't wait for the rest of this series... Chip is about to dominate automotive UA-cam!
Chip, all of your design ideas are very good. I really like the fact that you are keeping the basic body style because it is a good looking stock truck. I still prefer the look of the long bed trucks though.
My first vehicle was a 67 c10. 235 6 banger. 3 speed on the column. Man I loved that truck. My senior year. While having lunch I see two men in the school parking lot looking at my truck! I walked out and asked what the heck was going on. Well my dad pulled up at the same time and explained he had to sell my truck to pay bills. 😩😩. That’s the way it was back then. Family first at all cost. It broke my dad’s heart probly more than it did mine. And I knew that. Because he knew how long I worked to save up the 800 bucks I bought the truck for. Later on he helped me find another vehicle. But nothing ever measured up to the old 67. 😎👍
Wow. I don't know how you reacted but I don't think I could have taken that in stride. I hope for you that you will get another one if that is what you want.
Perfect timing as I work with my 67 C10 to fix past transgressions by PO's. The standard rear cab window was small and the larger was an option I think. Mine came messed up with camper shell window. So cut a large window sheet metal from bone yard donor, separated the welds, cleaned, sprayed CRC cold galvanizing on inside, then welding in using the off-set flange method. WAY Hard job for old guy (Me), but used 30+ vise grips, measured 3 times, welded once. Also, did anyone notice the side marker lights and are those after market that someone added on? I think 68 was the first year for side markers and had a bar like bezel for trim. Looking forward to the next video.
I'll definitely have that vibe And stance to it Coupled with that motor it'll take make them think twice And be a fun shop truck to boot can't wait for the vids on this build!!
Nice to see you Chip. I have to say you have been missed due to no Seattle roadster show. I tried to meet you at the Portland roadster show, but was shunned right before I got to meet you. I still like your work and enjoy watching. Look forward to seeing the C28 come to life. I am currently trying to build a 50's era tribute 1929 Ford Model A closed cab pickup. I want to honor some of my fallen hot rod hero's George Barris, Bill Hines, Norm Grabowski, Ed Roth along with the (still with us) Gene Winfield and of course you. Would love your help and expertise in the build. I tried to get your help through all the years of Overhaulin, but that never panned out as well. Lets fight to get the Seattle Roadster show back to the Pacific Northwest. I am in to help?
I wish mr foose would make videos of all the rims he makes mounted on classic cars. I really like the foose f236 qualifier wheels and a few others.this is a request. Thanks
Chip, just Sub’d & pressed the bell - can’t wait to see all 8 episodes! One thing; those side & wheel mouldings - I hope you decide to keep them. Not only are they original but they are really cool looking and a bigger part of the 60’s look than you may think at first. I think your red insert is the answer to retaining yet updating
I remember visiting Boyd's shop in the "90s on a businees trip. Boughta couple of T shirts and asked Boyd's wife if I could get him to autograph. Her response was that Boyd was out but "Chip could sign them. Not knowing who "Chip" was, I begged off and told her I would try and stop by the next day. I did and Boyd was in. She took the shirts in the back I could hear Boyd cursing at the request, I still regret not having "Chip" sign the shirts and the possiblity of meeting him.
This will be cool. Hope it’s white with Marina Blue interior on top of Chip’s subtle touch. The truck appears to be a 68 not a 67 based on the side market lights. That’s an easy fix though. Also, I like the big window compared to the coffin cab small window so it’s a better choice anyway.
Well Chip I beg to differ with you, in 1967 there were 602 Z/28 Camaros produced so there were more than 500 302s out there. I'm pretty sure that there were even more engines produced and possibly sitting in a barn or garage. As for the "Houndstooth" interior I don't believe that was ever an option in '67. But all in all cool truck, can't wait to see more.
Brah I got a low-key super slick idea for a 55 f100 I don't think no one ever did this..Chip hear me out but u gotta hook me up with the truck ..it will be an award winner ..
I have always wondered just how long it takes you to do one of your design drawings - such as for your C/28? And I am a new subscriber and clicked the bell so I look forward to this series. Thanks for sharing with all of us. Ray from Indianapolis, IN.
I have a 1974 Ford Pinto, it came factory with remote adjustable mirrors and all the bright trim around the windows, fenders and rockers and even has a stitched vynl interior. Orange and black. I think it would be an awesome build with the new Mustang 2.3 liter turbo 4 along with some suspension mods and some clean up of the clunky bumpers and of course modern rims and tires. Back in the 80's and 90's turbo Pinto's were the terror of the "import" street racing scene as well as at the track. I'm not trying to sell it, I don't have anywhere to work on it and I really really don't want to junk it because I've got history racing it at Carlsebad and at Brotherhood raceway. I need to find a new home for it... it's in SOCAL OC, I'm in Utah. Sorry this was the only venue I could find to get in touch with Mr. Foose.
Chip, I noticed the "Rydell" badge in the lower RH corner of the tailgate. There used to be a Rydell Chevrolet in Grand Forks, ND. Any chance that's where the truck came from?
your idea was to "find a C10 pickup and build it as if the factory had a sport truck package back in 1967" .... in '67 Chevrolet trucks had three levels. plain jane (no cig. lighter, arm rests or passenger sun visor, Custom and CST (Custom Sport Truck) that meant stainless moldings, door badges that said CST in place of custom, steering wheel cap, and a mirror upgrade as well as some pretty cool bucket seats.
have you seen my "backyard 67 c10 build" youtube video? i did one 2 or 3 years ago with small mirrors & z28 motor and manual floor shift. ive never seen a 67 like yours with side marker signal lights. here in canada 67 camaro and c10 didnt have side markers. its a one-year only with a small back window and no side markers. 1968 was the first year of side markers for legal reasons. here in canada thats what a 68 looks like. big back window and side lights. if you watch my 67 backyard c10 build video you can see what a one-year-only 67 looks like. no side lights, small back window.
Yep got a 67 c20 cst witch is a 3/4 ton 327 400 long box buddy bucket no markers and small back window and cst is the custom sport truck options for 67 his may be from late 67 with big window but side markers are 68 from what I understand
Wow can't wait to see it finished. I got my own 76 Chevy LUV that I will be attempting to make it a real Chevy and not that Chevy/Isuzu monstrosity it is..... wish me and my boys luck because it's a budget build and Mom is controlling the budget. LOL
This is a real treat to see Chip Foose on UA-cam. I hope to see more of his work here.

Foose should be a designing professor so he can maintain his ideas in the brains of many people for the future, he is a treasure
C/28 Foose design always AWESOME !!
What an amazing concept. Can't wait to watch all the episodes.
Dream work !
I love this format Chip! More of a "Maker" format than the usual hollywood type of show I'm used to seeing you do.
Chip, When I visited with you at the shop last June I was so impressed with the details you and the team showed me. The Jag, your '32, the '57, your personal project the C/28 and the others left an indelable impression in my mind for first class craftsmen at work, especially you.
Chip can see things us mere mortals can't. G_d Bless him and his creations. They are TRULY to be desired.
Well done on the truck, Chip. I always appreciate your small details and how you bring multiple different items together. My dream would be to have you and your team put together a 65 C10. Keep up the great builds!
Who else but Chip, the master of masters, can't wait to see the final project.

I love everything Chip Foose does, wish I had the money to have him build my dream truck
Chip is the Man ! more videos.. please !
Can't wait for this series as it's been a long time between drinks. Great to see you on UA-cam again Chip with a new project. Billy J.... Australia.
Two of my favorite things, Z28's and C10's, love the C/28 concept.
That's what I'm saying Chip is educating how to that anyone can buy at there local auto store to make something look cool
So excited to see new content from Chip.
Great to see Chip Foose back with fresh content. Absolutely wonderful. Two things.. 1, I would love to see the full story on the C/28 and 2, Hope against all hope that someday i get to see what Chip can do with a 62 T-Bird, my first and favorite car...sweet memories

Thanks again, mi Hermano' !!!!!
This is going to be awesome!!
I love the early 67 68 c10s as well as the z28 Camero!!!
Awesome Chip! Can't wait to see it! I was just thinking I wish you would show a build on your channel.
Absolutely genius! I wish I could just collect your renderings. Beautiful art
Love that you’re doing this on UA-cam. Now a days I watch more of that than regular TV. Anyway, super excited to follow the build. Thanks

Great content! Keep it coming. I have admired your work since I first saw you on Rides. You're creativity and craftsmanship never cease to inspire.
This is taking me right back to high school 2005!
Great Project Chip! You should be an advisor to GM!
Very Nice, thank you for upload!!!
This Foose guy has some talent. I think he is going places.
I see what you did there!
I love the original design and what if Chevy did this thinking. Keeping it looking old stock with the subtle characteristics you added from the Z28. You are more than welcome to work your magic on my white '72 Cheyenne!!!

So far so good! I really like the idea and the presentation. Never liked the drama or annoying co-presenters on overhaulin.
Hey chip!!(need a cross ram 302 chebby for that beauty). 😎
Foose you the man

Is Chip nice in person. Seems like a very nice person
When are we gonna see more of this! I’ve been waiting patiently!
Muito show seu trabalho!Queria que tivesse aqui no Brasil, iria me escrever para reformar meu quadrado. Abraço.
Gonna be sweet
Cool to have ‘69 pop up headlamps somehow

How about adding the RS hidden headlights? Without being too cliché, are there any hood modifications in mind?
I have always wondered just how long it takes you to do one of your design drawings - such as for your C/28? And I am a new subscriber and clicked the bell so I look forward to this series. Thanks for sharing with all of us. Ray from Indianapolis, IN.

Primal cryptid
Chip's builds are always interesting, trend-setting, with amazing outcomes...BUT, it would be interesting to know CO$T$ involved with these builds...

I like the drewing. Can you draw the Toyota towace 2002 model to better.
have you seen my "backyard 67 c10 build" youtube video? i did one 2 or 3 years ago with small mirrors & z28 motor and manual floor shift. ive never seen a 67 like yours with side marker signal lights. here in canada 67 camaro and c10 didnt have side markers. its a one-year only with a small back window and no side markers. 1968 was the first year of side markers for legal reasons. here in canada thats what a 68 looks like. big back window and side lights. if you watch my 67 backyard c10 build video you can see what a one-year-only 67 looks like. no side lights, small back window.

Wow can't wait to see it finished.
I got my own 76 Chevy LUV that I will be attempting to make it a real Chevy and not that Chevy/Isuzu monstrosity it is..... wish me and my boys luck because it's a budget build and Mom is controlling the budget. LOL
