Hopefully someone picks up those Aventine molds and stuff. It is worrying how some of these ranges could be lost because the owners retire or pass away.
Wow x2. First Wow, that's a lot of done stuff. Second Wow, that's a lot of stuff yet to do. How many figures do you reckon you're going to hammer out here in the next 4 weeks? I think the kitbash for the Germanic cavalry will work really well. Are you going to drive down to Historicon from New England? It seems like a lot to schlep around. Don't spend all your money at the vendor area. lol.
Yeah driving down, the train would be nice but no way could carry all this stuff + terrain. The big stuff is some more German war bands, skirmishers, and the cav. The war bands are around 32-ish minis each, 12 cav, 24 skirmishers potentially, plus all the baggage and casualties, So a little over 200ish miniatures I would estimate.
Thanks! Mainly using the For King and Parliament Range of bases, they are ones that have a 60mm frontage. I believe it is the FK&P 6 base. For the war bands he sells base extenders which I stick on the back to give the war bands the needed extra depth.
I’m on a tight timeline to get my Macedonians finished in time for Historicon too, so this is a good bit of inspiration!
Glad you got some inspiration! Macedonians are tough to get through as well, I struggle with the linen armor. Hopefully see them at Historicon!
@@TriariusWarGaming if I can get them done in time I’ll likely play in the WAB tournament - look forward to seeing you there!
@@axisandaliens Good luck with the painting and in the tournament! See you there.
Superb painting and basing, a very impressive army!!
Thanks so much!
Impressive to see how this has all come together. Looks awesome laid out, congrats
Thanks man! Much appreciated!

Someone must pick them up, they are too good. That being said I definitely want to put orders in in case the new owners don't keep up the quality.

@@TriariusWarGaming Thats a crazy amount to do in a month. lol. Holy smokes. That's like my 6 month tally.
@@jvcpaints Yours are way nicer though! I'm a sloppy painter.
Even on a tiny screen the shield transfers really pop at the tabletop 3 foot view.
Shield transfers are definitely worth the investment, especially for the Romans
I love the bases. I know they're Bat bases but what sizes are you using for each type?
