The basing of dynamic posed ancients is extremely difficult. I've been doing 3 per 40x40. They're looking great, man! The punters at Historicon are going to have a great time. Make sure to take a lot of photos and video clips of the game and the post game debriefing whisky fest. lol.
I do wish they would make shield wall troops a little more "shieldwall-ey" sometimes lol so they would actually rank up. Post whiskey debrief sounds amazing!
@@TriariusWarGaming Gripping Beasts were able to make a decent shield wall with their vikings and Saxons, though the Victrix Vikings and Saxons look so good I don't know if I could buy those older sculpts.
Really good progress, with the deadline now approaching everything seems to be coming together very well This game should make a great impression at Historicon. Using the spare Victrix components on other plastic figures works very well, not only because they are of better quality, but because I find it helps to "tie in" the figures from the various other manufacturers with the Victrix ones.
Such a great looking force
Thanks so much! Much appreciated!
Fully booked game, congratulations! The Vallejo brush-on primer is a pretty good option for priming if the weather isn't good for spray painting
Thanks! I agree that stuff is good. Might have to use it if this weather keeps. High 90s and crazy humidity currently.

Thanks! I totally, agree, the victrix components definitely elevate other manufacturers!
Horde is looking good, just ordered Rome and the sword
Thanks, I think you will like it. It's a great read and actually a ton of good stuff around the Punic Wars era in that book.
Superb, ready to fight...and obviously motivated!👍👍
WOW! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!
So impressive to see them all laid out like that
Thanks man!
"I know there's some archeology there, but I don't know if I buy it."...LULZ
Trust nobody, let the Rule of Kool be your guide.
Rule of Kool always lol.
Can you do a review of the victrix early saxons?
Yes I can do a review, got some ideas for that video, I can do that over this weekend.
Sorry for the delay on this video, I am working on it, will come out soon after Historicon.
