    You and Nikita are the sole reasons I'm going to end up buying this software once I can budget for it. Amazing. Your tutorials are so fast and straight to the point and subtly packed with knowledge.

    Ok, you just “forced” me in very proprietary way to switch to Plasticity. Very useful video. Thank you

    That pillow is a pretty liberal application of Plasticity lol! What a tutorial supercut! Thanks for all the tips and tools for those hard to reach spots.

    Sir...this is Incredible. I just started your exercices, and I'm already learning so much ! I've looked into your website just to find a way to pay you to thank you for the teaching, but I didn't find any way.
    I really would have liked to pay you for your work, even if I don't have much money, but, even for 10 bucks,
    Just saying thank you doesn't seem enough to me. But Thank You. Thank you so much.

    For the second to last one (half-twisted ring), I wondered why you couldn't just loft them together (I just started learning Plasticity yesterday). I opened up the program and tried it out, but the loft command had an error, so I assume you ran into the same problem, which is why you did it the way you did. Does anyone know why Plasticity fails to complete this seemingly simple loft? It seems even less complex than many other lofts demonstrated in this video.
    However! I did discovered that, despite the error, you can set the loft continuity to G0, then change the continuity in screen space on the untwisted portion of the ring all the way to G2. Changing the continuity of the twisted side to anything other than G0 causes a failure. It's probably not as smooth as your result, but it still worked! I'm still curious about why this loft isn't possible with G2 continuity for both sides because it seems so simple. So if anyone knows, please share!

    Dont you think this tool will destroy all the other modelling approach we use today.

      I think its a great addition to an artists Modeling Toolkit. SO I dont see it destroying other approaches, but definitely a must have imo.

    Thanks Floyd! Amazing tutorials!
    Quick question: Let's say with the default cube, how to make it to become a triangle? I tried to select the top edges and scale but not possible. The only way I can do it is to select each top edge and Move one by one. Any better way to do that? (I want a triangle not pyramid, so the white circle on top face won't work)

    It is really feels like to have a magic wand over Blender. I like blender but mostly it is a real pain about topology issues of any object designed for 3d printing. What about the plasticity topology does it have manifold issues?

    I am missing some features, when creating the Y pipe, the patch tool is used but there is no Fill Performance option, so no option to smooth and when I try to patch it or loft it you can see the hard lines, can anyone help me understand why I wouldn't have the smooth feature?

    • @Pixelfondue
      @Pixelfondue  9 місяців тому

      Patch has been changed and you use the Continuity options instead.
