    Great Videos, trying to watch everything a few times. Just passing the 3hr mark on this video. Great instruction, keep your process up. The only thing I'd really recommend, as your making quick commands using the short cut, the video does a good job of showing which buttons your hitting but I find myself having to pause and rewind a few times for very specific commands. Maybe as you loft/patch or Join, or cut etc. try and repeat yourself "Shft J, or Shift C" as often as possible. You do a great job throughout each layer of instruction, but periodically you'll make a few quick selections and leave me in the dust trying to follow along. That's what makes UA-cam great, easy enough to pause and go back. But so far that's that's my only recommendation. A lot of that coming from just being so new and not having all the commands down. But I'd definitely be much worse off without your videos. Please keep up the great work, and from all of us out trying to learn, THANK YOU!!

    Man, thank you so much for this!
    I just started with Plasticity, as I found out I could create some vessels much faster than in any other program. I come from Maya and Blender, where I do most of my hard surface modeling, thus much of the way of thinking you mentioned was not new to me.
    This is a good reminder of the Nurb Patches I once used to build commercials for cars. Again, thank you!

    Your "Mindset Training" should be it's own masterclass. I don't know if you have/had "Staples" (office store) where you are but here in the States, their commercial had the Staple "easy button"; one press and all your problems are over. People took that for everything and live by that but realize that it doesn't apply to life. So to it with learning and practice; it will never be easy with one press of a button or with lack of practice. You have to put in the work, period. That's how you become the best. Great job in all of the things you did in this course. This should be on SkillShare or behind some paywall; this wealth of information is not for the faint at heart lol.

    Fantastic Nikita! Thanks alot for your great content!
    Nurbs vs poly modeling is for me like vector vs pixel art. Both has a place in this world, one is not better than the other, it comes down to use case. If you are modeling an old car that was hand built you probably should use poly modeling since you will get that slight variation and non perfection in the surfaces. If you make a modern car that was built with super high precision in factories with robots you should probably think about using nurbs for the precision and continuity of reflections etc.

    For the pipe connecting stuff, it's vital you are in front view - if you pan around before doing an edge connect, the curve you create will not be aligned with the other edges and this will lead to errors when you try and mirror.

    Grossartige Lernvideos auch für absolute Beginner. Dein "Mentaltraining", wie man generell Probleme angehen sollte, gefällt mir sehr. Ebenso wie Du Objekte in einfache Formen zerlegst, um Schritt für Schritt ans Ziel zu kommen.
    Eine kleine Kritik: lerne, wenn Du etwas zeigst nicht mit der Maus zu fuchteln, sondern ruhig zu "pointen"

    This is really awesome that you released this super long course! Very helpful since I started learning Plasticity recently from you. One question, at 2:20:28 why do you use g1 instead of g2 wasn't g2 supposed to be better from what you previously explained? Thank you!

    • @nikita.kapustin
      @nikita.kapustin  2 місяці тому +1

      G2 is better yes. Most of the time, however, a much deeper understanding of how to set up the curves and surfaces to get a good quality G2 is needed.
      Most of the time, G1 is only possible with a standart patch. G2 is better but needs more technical understanding.

    Me gustaría saber si se puede hacer en Plasticity
