Great question, my guess is because someone tried to paint them as something they weren't. The major news outlets that covered and continued to smear that kid needs to be sued but not for money, they should be sued for their business license and the corporation closed permanently and any reporter that had anything to do with working that story without the facts need to be banned from ever working as a journalist again.

What happened was insidious. Phillips lied through his teeth as to what really went on and those black Israelites were vile in the extreme. The boys were the most innocent of all in that whole mess. Having been told to wait there for their buses to come to pick them up, they dutifully obeyed. When they saw the native Americans coming they thought that they were being treated to a rare display of native tradition, you can see they are smiling and clapping along with them. This whole attack on those boys were truly abominable. Every single person who attacked those kids need to take a good look at themselves and see how dark their heart is. It was a sheer miracle that God did not smite the whole crowd who'd cared not for these kids and their safety. Where were their chaperones? They obviously did not think there was anything to worry about as you cannot see them trying to interfer at all.

As a Chinese American, I admire western civilization and can never understand these hatred toward white people. I immigrate to USA because white people built a great country, for which I felt I indebted to my white brother forever! Also a question: how many Nobel prize winners are non-white vs white? We Chinese was defeated by Great Britain in Opium war. But we don’t hate British people at all. Western civilization is created by our white brothers, but belongs and enrich all mankind. You don't go to a public forum and say children should be thrown in wood chippers, punched in the face, or burning down their school with them in it. There are psychopaths who may try to act on this.
