I do think that the people who harassed, threatened and slandered the names of these kids should be sued though just like any other case of such. I saw the interview with this Native American who tried to "diffuse" the situation. His actions were aggressive against the group of teens who were chanting school rally chants in order to drown out the ugly, nasty vile things that were lobbed at them. This man lied about his trying to "come between" the groups. He overtly and aggressively walked forward to a group of kids and got right up in their faces. The really disgusting thing is that many of the people who called for violence against these kids, refused to change their attitudes even when truth came out. Mankind is simply not at a point where we can mentally handle the responsibility of social media. We should be better off now, theoretically, than we were decades ago, but socially for the most part we are getting worse.
There's a left wing witch hunt going on. My whole family are Democrats, but I have an open mind and want good politicians, regardless of political party. The only thing these kids did wrong was not leave the scene. This is on Jill Hamill and the other Covington Catholic chaperones who were in Washington with the kids. They failed to keep this whole incident from developing into a viral political scene.

I think the families of the kids and the school should sue the celebrities that started it. Twitter should be shut down. The view should be cancelled. The media that condemned the kids should be fired and out of business.
They are. They have a pro-bono team of attorneys who are collecting EVERY story of every news story written or videoed about this incident. They are also getting the posts of EVERY Twitter post libeling the kids, calling for them to be doxxed, and calling for actual violence against them. From what I hear, they are also going after the high school and the Catholic Diocese for jumping the gun on publicly condemning the kids.
Needless to say, these kids will never have to work another day in their lives. And keep in mind that there are dozens of kids, hundreds of media outlets, and tens of thousands of Twitter accounts now involved. And the fact that these kids are mostly minors puts about a billion cherries on top. Publicly attacking adults in one thing, but going against minors is truly a big mess up!

I have investigated every video of this situation, I have watched them all from beginning to end. There is not one occasion where the young white kids did anything wrong. In fact I would say that they kept the peace in the face of huge provocation from this native Indian guy and from the Black guys who were calling the MAGA hatted kids the most extreme offensive names. The confrontation was not the fault of the smiling young man, since it was Nathan, the man with the drum, who approached Nick Sandman and got up in his face, it was then that the young man was smiling. I see nothing but false news and fake news here in the MSN. If anything the ones who were to blame was not the Catholic kids, but the blacks in the background who started this situation. Nick Sandman did nothing wrong and should take the CBS and other fake news broadcasters to court for defamation.

It used to be that the title of "Veteran" was reserved for those of us who actually served in a war theater. Now it is used for anyone who served DURING a war even if they did their service at a home base. This is pretty demeaning to the people that were actually in country, thousands of miles away from home, in deplorable conditions, risking their lives. But that's the law now. So yes this Nathan guy is a Viet Nam Era Veteran because he served during that war.
