I was thinking the same... I'm thankful for family because if I didn't have any I'd be in poverty too. Count your blessings everyday... this poor lady.
when I was young, I worked hard, I always had 10 k or more in my account, And I never went for food stamps, never went on dole, never went to beg. Not to this very day, I didnt make it big time cause I didnt suck ass. But I have a free life and I can speak my mind, and I own property. Work is the only way to get you out of misery,
My mother raised us like this. We had no running water, our house was filthy. I made sure that I broke the cycle of poverty by getting a good education and a good career. When I felt frustrated and wanted to quit, I thought about my childhood and pushed my way through.I made sure that my children had the very best and they have all graduated college and have great jobs. The cycle of poverty/depression can be broken. It is hard work but it can be done. Hopefully her children can break this cycle.
For an educated person, you sound ignorant. Depression is not always cured. Meds, therapy, quality life help with some aspects of life, but some people don't get to run away from depression. This girl is traumatized and deeply depressed. Stay humble.
John Doe You need healing and deliverance for your mind. Please reframe from using profanity because children read these comments and looking up to adults for learning! If you would plant a seed sending her even if it's only $5 that will start a chain of blessing for her. look at condition of that house she pays rent in. What do u have to say about the landlord? PRAYER and help is needed! Where is your LOVE? .
@living my life like it's golden True but it's not that easy to get up and leave, with kids with no place to go. This is a child that don't know if she's coming or going and the poor kids just getting dragged right behind her and have the faintest idea what's going on, all they know is they're with mom. This young lady probably wouldn't even know how to buy a bus ticket or where to even go, that's why she moved from one house to the house next door.
John Doe I pray for you in your ignorance of NOT having knowledge needed before making comments. Did you know there are additives put in food causing young females to develop sooner than what they should, antibiotics in milk and meat, estrogen added in CAN goods causing me to have female tendencies. Our bodies goes through puberty at some level of aging. Did you know Black people got their land and houses taken from them or they were cheated out of it by white back then threaten saying (you have one day or maybe more to pack up your things,.they didn't even offer them Help just what they had AND get off their own land... of they didn't they would set the house in fire with the family in there). Today,.a lot of that land blacks live on paying rent belong to their ancestors. Now what you think about that? If there were no greedy heartless OPPRESSORS in the world and equal distribution of.goods and service was given out like the LORD created this world..you would not see people in the shape they are in now! Be careful how you talk about anyone because those same people might have to come to your rescue. You could get sick,.have accident and can't reach back and wipe the poop off your butt and one of them come in knowing and remembering what you said about them when they were down and out. GOD SITS high, he see and know our thoughts of good and evil. I still love you with the Joy of the Lord! You owe this young beautiful lady and.her children a forgive me. I am praying asking GOD PSALM 51:10 for you and others!
I was dirt poor. My house was clean. I remember saying that to myself just to get thru the day sometimes. No matter how poor I am, I can still clean my house for me and my children. I feel for these children.
Yea that's good for you. I hope you prayed everyday just to thank God for a clear enough mind that you were blessed with during those times. Dont take credit for keeping your house clean. That is God's victory, not yours. her mental state is not yours. You don't get to judge or compare
@@mdv1013 I don’t get to judge or compare? And so why do you get to tell me who my God is, who I have to thank...you assume what her mental is...looks like your argument is extremely biased.
These comments are like wow. Just remember you can be up one day and down the next. God is the God of us all and nothing is guaranteed not even the next breath out of your mouth. Be kind always and uplift. Help if you can, dont bash if you cant.
Lord have mercy🙏🏾I complain about going to work sometimes. God forgive me. This is just heartbreaking. I hope nobody’s paying rent on this place. It’s not fit for an animal to live in.
Gosh I wish I could help them. Im just saddened by some of these comments. You might be in a good place now but it doesn't mean god can't bring you down. God bless this family 🙏
The kids are so adorable and I pray God bless them all in a mighty special way. My heart goes out to them. If I was rich i'd help so many people who are in poverty.
[tears]...This is very sad to watch. I lived in Jonestown years ago and I still have family who lives there. However, I know this young lady. She is a great mother, and I know her mother, which is a hard worker and a wonderful mother.
+Ebenezer Heaven Wait a got damn minute bitch, I don't make fun of any one, so I don't know who "YA'LL" is but it's not me & yeah we have poor people but they are still better off than Africa's poor, poor Africans' homes have dirt floors & no indoor plumbing. Stop pointing fingers.
+Ebenezer Heaven AND 37 MILLION BLACK AMERICANS DO NOT LIVE IN DEEP POVERTY, I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU GOT THAT NUMBER BUT DO YOUR OWN DAMN RESEARCH. 37 MILLION, WOW.
+little flaver Earl No disrespect but because I want to, I can & I'm grown. AND I ONLY MENTIONED AFRICA TWICE IN 1 REPLY THAT DOESN'T HAVE SHIT TO DO WITH YOU SO STOP FISHING FOR DRAMA, YOU'RE A MALE, IT'S GAY TO DO THAT, BITCH SHIT. WHY DO I "KEEP" MENTIONING AFRICA? BITCH WHERRRRRE IS THE "KEEP?" And I commented 36 weeks ago. GOT DAMN. THE QUESTION IS, WHY ARE YOU ASKING ABOUT OLD ASS SHIT?
I feel sorry for the children living in that filthy place. She's home all day. Clean the house. Maybe then she'll lose some weight. She obviously gets enough to eat. Too much!!.
Depression affects people in different ways. No two people operate on the same levels when you are only surviving day by day and not living like you should be.
I'm from Gulfport Mississippi this and I promise u every last one of those ppl would give u the clothes of their backs. We are the poorest and the most looked down upon but we have hearts truly made of GODS LOVE.
I didn't see a depress woman but I saw a strong beautiful black woman trying to figure it out without the resources and thing's she needs smdh never judge.
this brought tears to my eyes, not for her but for her children...if you are struggling YOU MUST do what needs to be done in order to take care of your kids...you just can't give up...
@@privatelifejust_4me we good...they only show what they want you to see on here. Shes good also. The most high say food water and shelter is a blessing Anything else is a want.
That’s normal living in some part the south ! Wouldn’t bother me as she most likely don’t pay much in rent nor utilities, like majority of us in this comment section and she still has a roof over her and her kids head whereas majority of us paying over $1000 in rent a month $500 or more a month utilities and expensive car payments just to get bck and forth to a dead end job that the government takes the majority of your paycheck from you ! Ijs she got it made fr
I remember these kids. Me and the girl was in the same class. So we are about the same age 19. We grew up together as kids. I pray that God provides needs in their life.
I understand the poverty in jonestown, but what i do not understand is if you are home all day with nothing to do why can't you clean you;r house and wash down them nasty looking walls?
+mina bistritz maybe shes depressed i know id be if i lived there. imagine month after month year after year no mall no picture theatre no restaurants no car to get u around no man to keep u company no tv to keep u amused fuck all public transport no jobs nothing! if i was living in that situation i wouldnt give 2 shits about the house either. maybe u would, maybe you are mentally stronger. some people arent. dont judge her.
+Laaisa Ross i wouldnt mind speaking with latrice and trying to help her cos i think shes a smart girl whos just a victim of her own unfortunate circumstances... i believe she could make it if she could move out of that area and get a job... shes in a really tough predicament...
May God show your love and mercy to this lady and your kids. The effects of slavery has devastated the black community. The kids look so smart despite the living conditions.
This is truly sad. I was a single mom of 2 and life was not always good because we had our struggles, but it was NOTHING like this. I would tell ANY young woman that if you are struggling bad PLEASE do not have kids or have any more.If you are in a bad place until you get better PLEASE keep it clean and sanitary and do WHATEVER you can to move somewhere better where there is gas and proper electricity. I am wondering where is the father of these kids, can he do ANYTHING to help? God be with this family!!
My hair looks just like hers right now. Got dirty dishes in the sink & sorted laundry on the floor. Let me get my UA-cam watching tail up & get to work. Thanks for doing this story!
I'm from Batesville Ms not to far from here and I wouldn't dare judge her... I'm a single mom of two 19&6 and it's not easy but I go to work everyday and thinking about getting a second job because there's things I'm trying to achieve for my girls! I lost my mom almost 5yrs ago today is her Birthday 6/5 and I still have my father 🙌 but they taught us compassion and to never ever look down on ANYBODY! Mississippi seems to be equipped to be a certain way because sometimes in these small towns it's not about what you know (education wise) it's about who you know and what you do💁... You have to live here to understand that Trust Me! My prayers go out to her and her family... God Bless you all two times fold!
Watching these kind of documentaries really make me appreciate my life. I work and use to complain about bullshit but then I realize their are people out here who would love to be in my position. I don't complain anymore.
@@truthiz7873 she got herself into this situation? Sir this is not the city, this is the country. You can have a degree in rocket science and still be in this type of situation in a place like this. Why? There is literally not enough jobs in a place like this. People that live in rural areas a lot of time have to go out of town for work. She just said she don't have a car and you need a car because the closest public transportation could be a 2 hour drive away. It's not like she's on drugs she is the product of a poverty stricken area and most likely region since this is Mississippi. Everybody just don't put themselves in this situation. Some are actually just a victim of circumstances. Have some compassion asshole.

My mom always said to me just because you're poor doesn't mean you have to live dirty and messy . she grew up during the depression but she said we were always clean and neat.
Ok, I feel for this young woman, I really do. At the same time though, I was raised out in the country in a home very similar to this and my momma was always scrubbing the floors, cleaning, wiping down walls and such. She treated it like it was a million dollar mansion. That's all I have to say about that
tootie111d Absolutely . I was taught to keep what you have keep it clean... So very sad... SMH... The house is in terrible condition... Clean up the mess/ just sitting around all day... If able to leave. Change your situation. I would never show a strange .my living situation. Like that unless they offer me a decent home. That's very disgusting/ disgrace. Show your way out her house... So shameful... ? Wonder if the lady invite them into her comfortable home. With running hot water 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 I hate stuff like this....
You are very out of touch with reality we are humans with emotional issues and sometimes its connected with cleaning I'm not sure I like your comment. I think she is a good person and her kids are lucky to have her she is doing her bes. and one day I hope i get to meet her I think she is real special.
I'm sorry my mother had 6 kids and did what they called days work to feed us. On the weekends I went with my mother to scrub and clean people's houses. My two sisters and my job was to keep the project we lived in clean. This lady could do better if she wanted too..
@@SacredFire777 Here in Mississippi, Conservative Republicans are in charge and make any excuse to not invest any funds into anything of they don't have to. Unlike most parts of the state, land/property taxes cannot be collected in the Delta because of state policy, leaving roads unrepaired, schools defunded, and investment completely discouraged
She ain't lying about the jobs. Where she stay at it is an hour to two hours to look for a job. I have a friend that lives in Mississippi and he said finding a job in Mississippi is hard.
@ Christina Mcleod, I wasn't referring to you, I was referring to her. The "you" was referring to her. I know that you were talking about her. Excuse the confusion. At 25 she has to start making tough choices. Sometimes moving to another state and staying in a shelter until she gets on her feet, would probably be better then where and how she's living now. If she doesn't have transportation then she needs to move to an area that does. She can make it happen if she digs hard and give a lot for it.
She definitely depressed probably feeling overwhelmed, this beautiful family and others just like this one deserves help! Hopefully their situation change for the better especially for her children. I prey that this young women receives help in the form of a car & a job where she can support independently her family's needs!
I just seen this video for the first time, and I'm so disappointed in some of the comments that people are saying. I see a young depress, woman trying to make due with what she has. She hasn't lost hope in what she wants for her children. People don't judge a lot of people that has seen this video has been in the situation or close to it. I pray someone has reach her and the children and provided them the assistance needed.
I never would have exploited this woman by asking to Come into her house. That was wrong on all fronts.I never just stop at any one's house I always call first.
My sister lived and died in a house similar to this in Arlington Ga. We begged her throughout the years to move here to Florida so we could help her but she wouldn't come. Sadly she died at the age of 48 back in 2004. When we drove up to Georgia to get her belongings out of the house she rented the Slum Landlord had the nerve to come by to make sure we weren't taking things that he allowed my sister to use. I had to be led out of the house because I was so upset at how she chose to live. Young lady if you see this post I beg you to please get out of that town. There's better for you and your children. You just have to want it.
Not sure what all happened in her life that proceeded her current situation, but it appears that she's taking very good care of her babies (clean, fed, healthy) despite her horrible circumstances & the impact it's having on her. That's definitely a stregnth! I see a very strong, resourceful woman in her with a lot of potential, especially if she's made it this far living like this! Could you imagine if she had access to adequate resources? Transportation, a job, clean running water, etc. ...
We also must recognize what we are doing to keep ourselves in that cycles that we are able to change. Some things we have no control over. It sucks being poor.
It's not our job to break it. Any one of them can break it whenever they want. But they don't want to break it. Breaking it means years of hard work. Not breaking it means sitting on your ass drawing food stamps and welfare. To many, this is a much easier life.
The first step towards defeating the situation would have been to charge for a peek into her family life. Free exposure in a cruel world is worthless to her.
Some of the comments here are really painful to read. Judgement should have no place here. Only compassion. You never know when you may find yourself on the street yourself. You, like anybody else is about 2 paychecks from poverty. There are x millionaires living on the street and standing in welfare lines now. If you took the time to understand why things are like this for quite a few people living in this United States Corporation, you wouldn't be so quick to put fellow human beings down. I'm willing to bet most of these comments come from people who claim to be Christians and going to church hooping and screaming about how saved you are. Well, maybe you need a reminder of a few quotes. "There before the Grace of God go I", "Judgement is mine says the Lord", or " I AM my brothers keeper" just to state a FEW... Really pisses me off to see and hear the complete lack of compassion for people who would just like a shot at pulling themselves up for a better way of living. Learn the truth about the politics, monetary system and who is really running this planet and maybe you'll begin to understand that the system is not nor will it ever be designed for anybody to win except the crooks who created it. Everybody is on the hit list of the federal banking system that runs this world and they control everything. If you think this can't be you next, then you better think again. Oh, and KARMA, always comes to collect from those that seem to have lost their hearts and judge others when they are at their lowest. Just when you need a hand up, you'll receive a kick in the a** instead. Really sickening !!!!
Vdal46 Trplblck Depression could be the reason why the house is messy. Everyone deal with situations differently. If you can't say good, then say nothing. Totally agree with you.
Well said. There are too many bastards on here who feel very self-important and judgmental. What was it that Christ said? Oh, yes, 'Judge not less ye be judged'. Karma always plays a hand in life. Those who judge others for their position in life, [ in other words, mocking them] will themselves find that they, at some point in the future, will be in exactly the same position because of KARMA! Karma can be A BITCH!
This is the most powerful message I've seen by far I really love your compassion towards your fellow sister to see them at there lowest and see all of the inconsiderate selfishness and brutal bitterness of other people and still stand for what's right in Father God eye... You get nothing but love from me keep up good work

rthey were walking barefoot in that filth. I'm sure they will require some sort of medical attention due to their living situation . I know they must have rats running though that place.
These circumstances should never be overlooked. Makes you cry when you see this going on in "the wealthiest country." I wish there was a way to get people who care together to help out the "less fortunate." Especially in MISSISSIPPI DELTA.
I am born and raised in McComb Mississippi, Pike county and not all people live, or have to Live like this, I'm sure there are programs and people that will help her and get her and her kids a decent place to live, that's what social workers are for. And are those people reporting this, going to help her or see to her getting help? This really makes angry!!
Some of you are very unreasonable and quick to judge! How do you clean a house that is leaking from everywhere? This poor woman is trying to keep her things from getting wet in a house that is practically open to the elements. With all the rainwater, mold will soon develop and her problems will multiply 10 fold!
Very true. So many judgemental bastards on here. I hope to God that they, at some point in the future, suffer some kind of calamity in their lives. REMEMBER, THAT KARMA CAN BE A BITCH!
Tom McDonald I grew up in Jamaica where a leaking roof was normal, we lived in a house made from wood Nd zinc roofs. LET ME TELL U THAT HOUSE WAS SO CLEAN U WOULD LIVE THERE! When it rained we had to set pans for the leaking roof! Our house was very clean at all times.. we weren’t rich but my mom made sure we had a clean place to sleep! Clothes were always clean and our hair wAS always combed! When my school shoes was torn from the back she sewed it so nicely u couldn’t tell! STOP MAKING EXCUSES FOR LASY PEOPLE!
@@NastassiaJuanita that is true. Because I am from the Caribbean and when is raining we did put pan to. And the house was not dirty. This house is dirty.

I thank God for a solid sturdy home and warmth in winter and coolness in summer. I thank God for everything he has provided for us and now I ask Him if he can Bless this young woman who wants to work and provide a better life for her children the same way of life. This really humbles me. I want to be always grateful that I have a roof over my head, warm bed to sleep in and food on my table! Always be grateful even for the smallest and simplest things in life.
When I was growing up we never had running water I’m not even talking about hot water, we had to go to the well with buckets to get water for drinking, cooking, washing etc. We didn’t have a car nor was there a bus line anywhere near our neighborhood but we had 2 old bikes and that’s how my parents got to work and dropped me and my sister to school. And I’m forever thankful to my parents that they managed to keep us kids and the house clean and taken care of. This was not in America and there is way more opportunities in the states now. You can do anything if you put your mind to it. God bless
Praying for her and her beautiful children.Sometimes it's best to be Slow to speak for those that are SO quick to judge..You don't know what this young lady has been through.Just sweep around your OWN front door b4 sweeping around someone else's.
Some men have ceased to be men and that is part of the reason why poverty persists in these areas. There was a time when a man would do everything in his power to support his family. The man would have at least made an attempt to patch up a house with his bare hands. Then there's the systemic element, but it ultimately falls on the men in the community.
The men in this area do not have jobs or transportation either. They are not miracle workers. The women and children are on welfare which will not support them if a man is present in the home. So the men are worst off than the women. Lets not forget how white supremacy still reigns supreme in these parts of the south. Send this lady and her children to Raleigh, North Carolina with me. I will help her get on her feet. Feel free to send the children's father as well. There are still some black women out here who understands the struggle of being a black man in America. What good is bashing them gonna do?? And what does that teach our children?
The outreach organization that is featuring this documentary needs to teach these people how to fix their places . Teach them to garden and at least how to clean up their homes even if it is dilapidated . Handouts are temporary and there are no jobs they have to be taught to be self sufficient.
I would love to help them to. I do wish someone could tell us how we can help them. Are find out how to locate them I truly would love to help those little kids! And I understand the kids maybe a little bigger now
I'm sorry, but poor people got to start taking responsibility for themselves! I grew up just as poor as her. Two and a half years of my life, from age 6 to age 9 I lived in a Little House on the Prairie shack. We carried in water from the pump and shitted and pissed in 5 gallon buckets. And had to use the fireplace to keep warm. My mom had 5 kids by three different men whom which none cared if we lived or died. Because of this, I didn't have any children because I had sense enough to know that having children while poor would keep me poor. Though I'm not a rocket scientist, I live better than I did growing up. We do not have any control of the life that we are born into. But we have control over the life that we die in.
You don't know that lady situation and I don't believe people choose to live that way. There are circumstances and policy controls that stunts people's progress and growth.
She’s beautiful an has a desire to do more an her children are smart . Lots of potential for this girl an her family… Edit: this video 13 years old .. dang I wonder how it’s going for them . Never to late however
When you are in poverty in a city or metropolitan area, you still have plenty of resources available to you such as public transportation, charitable organizations that help families in need, counseling, vocational rehabilitation and a lot more. Living in poverty in a rural area is a whole nother monster and probably the most depressing thing ever. Like she just said there's no public transportation, a lot of small towns like where I'm from in ga lack government buildings for things like assistance and even something as simple as identification documentation and the closest one is a 30 min drive, and a lot of other shit. I know some people that left this same situation but the transition was a bitch and that's if you able to find a way to where you going because greyhounds don't even come to a lot of rural areas like this one. Someone in a situation like this best bet is to just pack up a few things and go to a city where you can at least get some type of help. You might be on the street a couple of days, but moving forward in this type of situation while living in the country is almost slim to none.
i was thinking the same thing. her situation being poor and house dirty is due to laziness, lack self esteem. lack of education. i bet not 1 book is in the house. what is said is that her same kids will follow vycle.
VBanks99 she was cleaning after the rain pay att and listen that's ppl aren't getting help for ppl like u with this focus fuk the did array help them I wish I could
Promise im not judging.but if someone was coming in ,that would have been the cleanest little hut ever.it don't cost anything to pick stuff up off the floor.
That little boy funny the way he supplies random information. I like how he says "she use to live in da country" with that southern drawl at 1:39. And then when she was asking about what kind of work the lady's mother did, he says "she didn't never work" at 1:52.
Okay, being poor is one thing and being flat out nasty and trifling is another....There's no excuse for the trash on the floor,NONE!!!! Have some pride and dignity, it doesn't cost a penny....My mother, the most beautiful, brave, strong, loving woman I've ever known grew up in poverty. Grandparents had 16 children 2 bedroom house. Sometimes no food, no electricity, no running water....nothing but the hunger pains in their stomachs. Not to mention an abusive alcoholic father who made their live even more miserable...Especially since my grandmother allowed it.....anywhoo with that being said....what little they had it was clean, my mother said they would get water from the neighbors hose to clean, hand wash and line dry laundry, bathe and flush the toilet...not to mention keeping the outside neat and clean....My mother grew up under some pretty rough conditions with a childhood I'm sure she wishes she could forget but poverty for them never turned into filth.....My mother at 16 decided to become her own woman. She got a job, finished HS with honors. Went to college, studied nutrition, got a degree, married my father and had 4 beautiful kids.....They gave us a good life private schools, yearly vacations, birthdays, Christmas, etc,etc,etc.....My point is......you can't complain about your situation and do absolutely nothing about it...What would motivate me to help someone who refuses to even pick up trash off the floor?!?! Come on!!!
BixbyLBC maybe sometimes people fall so far they don't know how to get up? No amount of money will fix that. My parents grew up without running water and my dad didn't have electricity until he moved to the city. But they knew how to set priorities and what it took to make something from nothing. And passed it on to me. There were plenty of times I couldn't afford lights or water but I had to pay tuition so I made do with what I had...because I had the best people to help me...not financially because they couldn't, but with advice. Everyone doesn't have people like you and I did.
Rose Stewart ......people will make up a million and one excuses if you let them....if you've fallen so low in life where you can't as a woman and mother, provide at least a clean environment for your children then not only should you stop complaining but you need to have your kids taken because there's no excuse......you can join her pity party if you want to but if she really wanted a better quality of life, she'd start with trying to make the best of her current situation and try like hell to do better.......her kids should be motivation enough....
This young mother doesn't mention the father of her children. And my feeling is that she is also depressed. But I also wonder where is the father of her children? She shouldn't be doing this alone!! And who will help this mother pay for child care so that she can find work or go back to school! Anyone can do better with help; and she needs it! The screen door is busted... it rains inside the house... there's holes in the ceiling! It seems she lives alone and raises the children without their father and I can only surmise that this leads to depression; and too often Black women are left raising children without any help from the father. Some of these fathers are just missing in action, avoiding responsibility or locked up in jail. However, I'm also noticing how clean, well dressed, well spoken and mannered her children are. For this reason, I don't think the trash on the floor is indicative of her being a lazy and dirty person; I think she is a depressed and lonely person; and who wouldn't be under these gloomy conditions?!! I think a lot of times we make judgement calls without giving a balanced stream of thought in consideration of several things happening in a person's life at once! As poor as they are, they are making the best of their lives; the children look healthy, clean and adorable; and they are aware of the things that are wrong and surrounding them. They are outspoken about it; and their Mom is their one and only role model. Lets have a little mercy for each other.
May God have mercy on this beautiful mother and her children. This breaks my heart. I pray that she will get out of the rural area and get a wonderful job and a different home. May God bless them. I hope that whom ever interviewed her will help this woman and those precious children.
God bless this person with empathy for others, cause obviously they have never been through anything...Yet. Bless Punkin and her beautiful kids and continue to give her great strength through her circumstances. I applaud Punkin for showing us all her struggles. There is a lesson in everything we witness. God bless her....

You too
when I was young, I worked hard, I always had 10 k or more in my account, And I never went for food stamps, never went on dole, never went to beg. Not to this very day, I didnt make it big time cause I didnt suck ass. But I have a free life and I can speak my mind, and I own property. Work is the only way to get you out of misery,
Thank you
My mother raised us like this.

If you would plant a seed sending her even if it's only $5 that will start a chain of blessing for her. look at condition of that house she pays rent in. What do u have to say about the landlord?

Exactly being poor and being clean don't go hand in hand
When you been poor all your life you give up hope and being clean is the last thing on your mind. Try to walk in her shoes I doubt if you can

Real talk...
This is depressing.....and this is what depression looks like and I hope that she made it out of there.
Just because you are poor doesn't mean you can't have a clean house.
It's heartbreaking to see these 2 kids living in filth and poverty.

No Excuse for Laziness & Filth.
Transportation, a job, clean running water, etc. ...
And the cycle continues. The question is ;how do we break it?
Corrynthia I AM - You break the cycle by helping and donate.
We also must recognize what we are doing to keep ourselves in that cycles that we are able to change. Some things we have no control over. It sucks being poor.
Corry.... Iam ...Maybe you can start by praying for the family, be4 you talk down ,on other less Fortunate situation .....

Some men have ceased to be men and that is part of the reason why poverty persists in these areas. There was a time when a man would do everything in his power to support his family. The man would have at least made an attempt to patch up a house with his bare hands. Then there's the systemic element, but it ultimately falls on the men in the community.
You vocabulary is really up to par. I wish I was on the same level as you.
Jnanya Lewis funny everything is the white mans fault. Lol funny.
Rahbinah Rastaban
The kids are cute tho
Being poor, doesn’t require you to live unhygienic. Cleanliness requires some decency.
Damn My heart goes out too them, but at least she and her kids are still smiling.
HOW can l help these women?
Tomika Washington I would like to know also
we need to start a app for blk ppl so we can help each other get resources and stuff
I would love to help them to. I do wish someone could tell us how we can help them. Are find out how to locate them I truly would love to help those little kids! And I understand the kids maybe a little bigger now
if you really do..the young lady just said her first & last name.& your see the city & state. I'm sure that place is not that large of a area
tryone Sells I am looking right now, I am trying to get a message to the one who talked with her.
Omg... This video had me in tears. God bless them all
When that baby opens the freezer 😳💔💔 just empty! Lord bless them
I pray this woman and her children are now living in a healthier and safer environment since the airing of this video in 2009.
That’s Right. We All have responsibility for Ourselves! Shouldn’t just Wait for a Handout or for someone to “feel sorry “ for you.
She’s beautiful an has a desire to do more an her children are smart . Lots of potential for this girl an her family…
Edit: this video 13 years old .. dang I wonder how it’s going for them . Never to late however
Any updates on Latrice??? I often think of her and her 3 kids... hope shes doin ok... bless her heart xx
I’ve been through some really rough times as a mother and my heart aches for this family.
This is extremely sad .
I would love to learn from these babies any day😊😉☺️. They know how to survive💯💖💯💖
I'm glad this came up n my recommendations. I subbed. This is sad. We are often unaware of how bad ppl have it.
If you don't have a job there is no reason for tour house to be that nasty! You're home all day!
i was thinking the same thing. her situation being poor and house dirty is due to laziness, lack self esteem. lack of education. i bet not 1 book is in the house. what is said is that her same kids will follow vycle.
laila kassem that's wrong
laila kassem if your not in her shoes we can assume
I seen people in much better homes and the inside was nastier than this. Don't judge.
Hang in there sister, you still young. Things can change. We love you and keep pushing for you and your family.
Babies are pure survivors... God bless them.. hope all is well and blessing pour down on all of you.. 🙏💖

@@rosestewart1606 Right 👏👏👏
If i was rich i would build some apts. For people bring food to the city just help much as i can
May God have mercy on this beautiful mother and her children. This breaks my heart. I pray that she will get out of the rural area and get a wonderful job and a
different home.
What people don't understand is when you come from nothing, I mean it is nearly almost impossible to come up.
Exactly, that saying about pulling yourself up by your boot straps is a myth for most.
@BruhTV Folks like you are superbly ignorant and uncaring. Quick to say excuses, quick to say get off your ass and go to work. But how can you get to a job when your town has none? How can you get to a job in another city with no car? People like you play stupid but know better. May karma catch you!
am thanking anyone here ready to help that finally...….I can only say God bless you for all of your compassion. Those kids need much love. and if you ever reach them say halloo all the way from East Africa - Kenya.
God blessed you and your children , many blessing coming your way .Be strong and love you my sister

Slum Lord needs to be legally responsible for the house.
I totally disagree. That lazy "mother" needs to get off her fat ass and clean the place. Her apathetic attitude is nauseating, not unlike her home.
dawnehelene59 She needs a Clean mind , fresh Spirit , Open mindset of Wanting more for herself and 2 kids 💛 her mindset is off 🤯💡Somewhere gotta want to be in Beast mode in grinding for the Kids and Herself 💰💸💎💳
