On the guitar, it’s easy to screw up with all the changes and nuance’s to James’ playing. The tempo and timing changes make it very hard for me to play straight through without screwing up a few times. It happens to me with the title track on this album a lot too.
Even on drums its hard Its minuciously arranged and reacted . The groove is insane, the fills implies rudimental thing , on triplets and changes in odd signatures, quads ... The placement is tough. Isolated , you may be able to do the Fill , but see where he places it when the first riff comes , on the tom etc... Its like He thinks like a swing drummer on 3 rather than on the classic 4/4 binary stuff. All the rest. The middle part and the build up and drum lead alone to the solo..thats killer and highly intelligent. Haters doing retro active concepts can go away. When someone does that he know perfectly what he s doing
Glad someone did this one, as its been said very underrated song. Side note, everytime there's a reaction video to metal people understand where head banging came from and watching head bangers being born takes me back. Keep thrashing man
I love that beginning bit of this song. Only Metallica could take The Wizard Of Oz and make it Metal as F. Anyone trying to recall which part it's what the Wicked Witch of the West's soldiers sing while on patrol.
About someone going crazy, and documenting it step by step...my cousin was having mental issues when this came out...and when this song would come on when we were partying, he’d get up and walk out, a few years later he said the lyrics were too fuckin vivid, and he’d feel like the song was directed at him, scary! He got on medication and is good now, and now he just says Hetfield was that awesome at describing how someone who’s losing their mind. Thinks...what a genius!!!
The rythym guitar is what really makes this song so great, specially during the solo. You can find the isolated rythym guitar only around yt if you ever get curious
The beginning chant says all we own we owe. An old saying going back to the times of company stores where workers could by what they needed from the company store on credit. Which would keep them in perpetual debt.
@@oakieracer1 which was taken from my older example. It's peonage, basically slavers debt. The guards chat it because they also lack any individual autonomy.
Hi,bro!! I am from Chile-Southamerica 🇨🇱, so it is no easy speak in inglish for us ,but I'll try to make the best possibly, I have listened Thrash- Metal since I was 13 years old, 37 years ago..,just by chance, until right now, that coincidence it was Amazing.
Fav track from fav album from one of my fav bands :) Your reaction was so funny and cool, super glad you enjoyed it bro ! Greetings from France mah man, keep it up :)
We're ALL very sorry you got woken up like that, Bella. But sometimes, greatness MUST be reacted to with the awe it brings. Just make sure, Swaggy gives you a few extra treats for waking you up like he did. Bella's point of view Dreaming of chasing cats.... "WHAT THE...!!! Oh DOG! He's listening to, Metallica again."
Dude, you should never even try listening ‘Bleeding Me’ Woodstock ’99 performance (not album, but that specific version). I don’t think you’d survive it.
Great reaction Swaggy. That solo hits the spot every single time! It's good you don't want to freak your dog out, but very hard not to when you're listening to Metallica 🔥🤘
Did I hear “stop is Dallas”? Mate if you’re in the area I’d love to take you out for a drink! I live in the area now and love all your reactions. Your Tallica ones are fire though!
That intro , me and my boys would sing " all we own , we owe for " White trash , give us some love too ! But for real everyone chooses Master of Puppets as their best work , to me its this record .
Time to do some Kreator Kreator - Enemy Of God Kreator - Extreme Aggression Kreator - Betrayer Kreator - Love Us Or Hate Us, So many more songs i could choose, i think though these few are a good start for you, In my opinion Kreator are the German equivalent to Megadeth , You won't regret it....
Just a great two LP set...while it is a legendary release, I feel it still doesn't get the attention it deserves...I'm speaking of the songs that don't make up the already very well known hits everybody's familiar with...
I’m telling you (again 😊) if you like this, get some Overkill in your life. Anything from the Years of Decay album, but the title track is the best if you want crazy guitar and transitions. Trust me on this.
Stop the cap bro!! I'm watching you bounce your head up and down pretending to be into the song?? Everyone knows that you don't really like this type of music. You didn't even pull up the lyrics when it's obvious that you would have no clue what they were saying.
All you are doing is reacting to the drums and the beat!!! It's sad that you miss so much by not knowing the words so you could truly understand the song. Stop pretending!!!
Quite possibly the most underrated Metallica song
Album top to bottom is absolute fire. This and Eye of The Beholder need WAAAAAY more love.
Trapped under ice
Incredibly underrated song
I might argue Orion.
Always been my favorite
The whole album is a masterpiece.
Whole album is HEAT. Check Eye of the Beholder out.
Time to get political bois
Hands down my favorite Metallica track!! Way underrated and far more complex than people realize!

wizard of oz is pretty metal on its own to be fair

This is progressive metal … I love your reactions, so real and yes, I remember, the first time I heard this, I fell off the chair many times
React to Metallica "St. Anger". React to the Manchester, England - June 18, 2019 Live Video.
Bruh I love your freakouts, poor dog 🤣 my dog prolly reacts the same when im yelling at the packers

Swaggy now you know why my neck was sore for a week after seeing this guy's 🤘
You should watch the live version of the only time they played it live and how excited the crowd was and they all sing along in the beginning
The beginning chant says all we own we owe. An old saying going back to the times of company stores where workers could by what they needed from the company store on credit. Which would keep them in perpetual debt.
Pretty sure it's a reference to The Wizard of Oz, being that's the chant of the guards outside the witches castle.
@@oakieracer1 which was taken from my older example. It's peonage, basically slavers debt. The guards chat it because they also lack any individual autonomy.
love how you deep dive into artists!
Love this song. The middle sections are amazing. Great vid. Keep it up.

Notice the beginning is similar to the Chant of the wicked witches soldiers in the Wizard of Oz.
Fav album from fav band. Thanks for more Metallica. 👏👏👏
Love your enjoyment reacting to the music that fueled my teenage years. Keep the Metallica coming!
Finally, someone went off the mainstream Metallica path. You killed it. And to prove it, I was like # 187!
They worked very hard on these earlier, more complex and physically demanding, albums.
This was such an underappreciated song, but I love it!
This album, in particular, the song One is what did it for me.
Fav track from fav album from one of my fav bands :) Your reaction was so funny and cool, super glad you enjoyed it bro ! Greetings from France mah man, keep it up :)
Very underrated song. Thanks for reacting.
Metallica Eye of the Beholder

Bella's point of view
Dreaming of chasing cats.... "WHAT THE...!!! Oh DOG! He's listening to, Metallica again."

In my opinion Kreator are the German equivalent to Megadeth ,

I know he has, check his playlists. I just saw he’s done about 20 Tool reactions. They’re all the way at the bottom.

My favorite off that album
Just a great two LP set...while it is a legendary release, I feel it still doesn't get the attention it deserves...I'm speaking of the songs that don't make up the already very well known hits everybody's familiar with...
The beginning is from the Wizard of Oz
Yo these reactions be killing me dawg 😂 keep this shit up eye of the beholder by Metallica next same damn album bruh
I’m telling you (again 😊) if you like this, get some Overkill in your life. Anything from the Years of Decay album, but the title track is the best if you want crazy guitar and transitions. Trust me on this.
