  • This is a recipe for a one-pot dish of cod and grilled green onions.
    ■Ingredients (for 2 persons)
    2 slices fresh cod
    1 tofu or (1 piece of deep-fried tofu)
    2 green onions
    100g spinach or (komatsuna)
    1/4 daikon radish
    ◎Simmering broth
    600ml Japanese soup stock
    1 tablespoon soy sauce
    1 tablespoon mirin
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    potato starch
    oil
    ■Directions
    1. Cut green onions, tofu and cod into bite-size pieces. Sprinkle salt on the cod and dust with potato starch.
    2. Heat oil in a frying pan, brown the green onions on both sides, take out the green onions, and fry the cod on both sides.
    3. Bring the ingredients for the broth to a boil in a saucepan, add the cod, green onions, tofu and spinach, bring to a boil, and finally sprinkle with grated daikon.
