Enjoy fishing with your son as much as possible because someday he might be too busy or too far away. My son is a banker now and unfortunately lives a 1000 miles away and every day I wish I could be out fishing with him again. Great video and Content👍
I've caught several in the Waccamaw river in excess of ten pounds. Fight like a bull. Can have multiple spots on tail. A lot of folks eat blackfish in the low country in cold weather. They are a dinosaur, haven't changed in 10,000 years. High order consumers tend to be high in bad things , so I don't eat them. We use bass tackle and half a hand sized bream for bait.
Thanks for the comment, I’m guessing this one weighed around 8 pounds or so. I could definitely see this as a high mercury fish and I have always been warned that they are no good for the table. They are cool though.
