Really enjoy your films - much more relatable experiences than some of the other channels I also like watching. Having a good day with good people is more important than the fish you catch, is what I always tell myself when my wife outfishes me, every time…!
What do you think about the EA removing them, @@CalAndDani? I'm told they do it a lot, especially in/on the various stretches that aren't club waters...
Although darkness, more precisely dusk, is more productive than day, you can find zander even during the day in the strongest sun. They like shadows, treetops over water and tree stumps, they like shadows of bridges and pillars in the water...
Zander take bait near the bottom, especially in the colder months. Adjust your weight so the lure is suspended from the bottom for 3-7 seconds after you retrieve and fish with pauses
A great watch! I love Zander fishing on lures and even more so throughout the night. Just found your channel and looking forward to catching up on content old and new
Nice vid! You 2 should visit the Netherlands! If you like to catch big perch or zander. 70's zander all day here, for perch, 40's is the standard. Sometimes a 50+.
Fantastic as always I hope you guys had a great Christmas and have to sort some fishing trips out on the canals on the boats. Love you both your incredible at what you do.xx
This is why Danny always beats you at catching Zander @4:59 You are not even holding a fishing Rod. While you are doing this, cast the line out at the same time. I had started fishing this canal last year, despite living right next to it. I've had some fantastic pike out of it, the quality of fishing there really surprised me. Planning on hitting it soon for my first ever Zander.
i missed a zander a few years ago in a yorkshire canal, absolute monster it was. followed the lure all the way up to my feet. but now where i live i dont think its any zander so i go for pike as usuall 😊

@CalAndDani I hadn't watched the lidl video when I made that comment, so I have now seen two rods break that low down! Pretty bad that they sell these telescopic rods of such poor quality. Great and entertaining videos, keep it up!

Wake & Bait…? I think the tail on the fish suggests it goes more like,…. Wake & Bake & Bait…..in that order…….. lol🤣🤣🤣
what reels do you guys use
Good edit that guys enjoyed it 👍👍 all the best
I need one of those wake and Bait hats where do you get them 😂😂😂

Hi Calum, can you please tell me what Rod Reel and Braid that you were using as i really like the whole set up.
Which one as we used two different rod and reel combos :)

Would like to see a nice Carp campaign this spring/summer Cal would be really interesting! Great vid too 👍🏻
We are actually just finding out the right location for exactly that :)
Zander is most active in the dark, so try at night. From dusk 'til midnight. And Manx cats are born without a tail.
