I’m really glad to see y’all back on the . I always enjoy your videos . Looks like y’all got a good box of cats . It a shame you had to release the striper. Just one question what Creek/River were you on ??? I’m relatively new to the area, just trying to learn more about it. 😊
@@palanwhitt1 there are health advisory’s for the fish in the Neuse up near wake county, none for the area where this was filmed. We ate them and shared with friends.
Loved this video. My wife and I watched it on the big TV.
Much Fun , Tight Lines Captain !!🐟🐟🐟
I have some great memories running limbhooks as a kid. Shad and stripers are a nice bonus.
The river is a magical place to be in the springtime.
Fun video, ol' Josef is a good hook and line man!
You Daggum right he is!
Hey Brian I'll be there this whole week hope to see you
With the broken stripes, looks like it’s a hybrid bass

This was the Neuse, good fishing in most of the creeks round here. Fun doing something different.
Thank you, I have a house on the White Oak river. I’m going to try some of the same things on the upper part of it .
Aren't catfish from the neuse really contaminated with PCB's? Yall eat all those? Love the video anyway! @@offkilterfishing

That's what I'm talking about,.. freezermeat all day long.
Are hickory shad the same as skipjack? They sure look similar. Awesome video
Love to do that. Do you ever eat the shad.
The roe is awesome, not a huge fan of the shad. Too many other good fish to eat. I’m not above it though…
Looks fun 😢
What river were you fishing.
Neuse river
