Big thank you to Wizards for early access. So many decks, so little time but here's one that took E.A by STORM! I should have a video a day until full release! Have a great week folks
These decks are what magic is about for me. The fun ones. I also appreciate so many content creators such as yourself who are actually running removal instead of "no removal because it's early access". It makes me feel more excited to use these decks from the get go instead of being hyped for something only for it to fail from a cut down lol
Nice combo, love Gruul, exciting to see this pretty much behave like Splinter Twin. This seems a lot cleaner and more powerful than trying to do this with Insidious Roots. Personally the thing I'm most excited by the the potential for overlords to give a boost to the Smuggler's Surprise + Calamity deck. The Green and Red ones both seem really useful to help smooth out the more all or nothing nature of that archetype.
this is super interesting, been brewing up some otter shenanigans in izzet and the blue invasion of segovia battle that gives your noncreature spells convoke. it gets pretty nuts with stormsplitter or the floodcaller but i love how consistent this enduring vitality list looks.
Thanks for the video! I am going to try substituting Highway Robbery instead of demand answers since I can sac a tapped land and get two cards instead of discarding and only getting one.
I have not. Gonna practice a bit on the ladder first. Need to think about the meta. Played a few games this morning and I've played against Mono Black in half my games so far
Gotta say, love the deck, hate the new set and the board for it. Not just TVs, but an NES now?? This level of fourth wall breaking is not Magic at all. Glimmers are magical enough though, if you don’t read the lore. Might even craft the Vitalities on day one for this Otterrific combo…
@@Jejfimwianfn (1) you say no, I say yes. References don't have to be this blunt, when they don't fit with the broader lore. Breaking lore breaks immersion, breaking immersion breaks the 4th wall. (2) I've played on and off since the times of Urza's block. Mirrodin, Kamigawa, Ravnica, Lorwyn, Alara, Zendikar, Tarkir, Theros, new Dominaria sets, Bloomburrow... Even Innistrad, Ikoria or Strixhaven were "not like this". New Capenna, MKM, OTJ and partly Neo-Kamigawa were guilty of breaking their own lore, so this is not new. Still a more recent development. Duskmourn just takes lore-breaking real world references to a new level.

This is the kind of videos i love to see Day 1...deck looks fun, competitive, and desplays the power of new cards!! Great Video!

Yeah you're so right. Calamity plus the red overlord is lethal I believe?
I did the against the odds insidious roots version. the black card that lets you sac all your lands to draw cards really helps in that version
and highway robbery. plot cards in general

Nice deck!
I love this set, so many strong, interesting cards - weirdly enough more excited for this than Bloomburrow
Same
Lol, not on my guy Swayze. Great deck.
Very cool deck!! I have a feeling this set is going to have so many combos it’s going to be insane.
I really like the theming and cards
-This is how this should work
-Displays staggered arena trying to figure out how much 15x2 is xD
This, I like! Very nice deck!
Bro is the only magic player that enjoys playing mirror matches
If I see this in mythic .. punching my laptop screen
Isnt just better to put smuggler surprise instead of push pull since it can mill to find stuff
I love it!
Have you thought of what you'd want to put in the sideboard for BO3/FNM?
I have not. Gonna practice a bit on the ladder first. Need to think about the meta. Played a few games this morning and I've played against Mono Black in half my games so far
I should have expected that this was the first deck you'd be trying out lol
Gotta get the jank out my system lol and they're otters! I am so excited for this set to be fully released.
As long there is no sheoldred, LIKE and share!!!
Did you think about using 0/6 turtle that make creatures on your turn hexproof? it also makes all otters 4/4
I didn't but that's so cool! I've wanted to play that turtle for many weeks
Excellent !
Sick idea
Nice deck.
I just insta quit when someone plays a stormsplitter

(1) this isn't 4th wall breaking, these are just references and (2) Magic has been like this since the 90s
