I love the wood work that you are doing for bus conversion and there is nothing better than the natural look of wood ! Which brings me to asking you why only the one door ? You did a fantastic job with that one and I was hoping that you would have done some other trim with the wood .
Awesome Job. Cedar Door really makes the Bus look like a Sea Cabin. The soft blue color and white accents make this very modern and home like. Just subscribed, keep up the great work your doing. A W E S O M E!
Great video. You guys did an awesome job. I just found your channel and subscribed so I have a couple of questions. What is your plans for the Schoolie when it's done? I didn't see any air conditioners on the roof. What made you decide to do a Schoolie instead of just buying an RV?
We finished the Skoolie and hit the road. A skoolie project sounded unique and we thought it would be fun. LOL It was a lot of work, but the bus fits like a glove. It was built by us and for us. So it meets our needs more than an RV could. We also added a Mini-Split AC unit later in the project.
It has a Cummins with 35k miles. It has an Alison 2000 Transmission. There was an issue with the brakes, but my diesel mechanic fixed it though. Thanks for the questions!
Great conversion and love the colours! Are you sure that the door is legal though? Surely that takes away from your surrounding vision whilst driving? Maybe a glazed panel of toughened glass in the upper section? Don't forget to include a height sensor as an upgrade, those low bridge video's on You Tube can be quite distressing!

I've seen those videos! They are painful to watch. LOL We added a window to door, so i'd have a better line of sight when driving.
The cedar door needs a window.
yes, it does! lol
Ditto
Came here for this comment... why wouldn't you put a window there ???
@@emilflognoid1532 we already put a window in it.
That’s right. When you pull up to an intersection you want be able to see.
