Jeep Cherokee Pentastar airbox lid fix! | Dorman OE FIX 258-536

On Jeep Cherokees with the 3.2 Pentastar V6, the PCV fitting at the airbox is brittle and often broken. A replacement from the dealer is almost certain to break in the same way, and because the lid is not available as a standalone part, an entire airbox assembly must be ordered. Repairing the damage isn’t ideal, either, as baffles inside the airbox make it difficult to install a replacement tube.
Dorman offers an effective solution with the 258-536 OE FIX airbox lid. It replaces only the broken lid instead of the expensive airbox assembly, and it features a stronger PCV hose fitting that’s molded into the lid for greater strength and reliability than the factory’s spin-welded construction.
