Fun Kaveh facts: Kaveh and Dori are the only claymore users to never hold their weapon after attack animations. All of their attack animations end with the claymores teleporting to their back. The only way to actually have the weapon end up in their hands is to have them be staggered during an attack animation, which is the only way to see them do the sheathing animation. You can see this easily by attacking into Electro barriers in Inazuma. Kaveh also holds the claymore during a plunge attack and has a unique recovery animation where he shakes his hand off cause he hurt his soft architect wrist. Every other claymore character has a standard recovery animation based on body type.

As someone who practices Naginata (the Japanese polearm that Raiden Shogun also uses) I can say you don't need to be ambidextrous to use the weapon with either dominant hand. It is a two handed weapon of course, but doing all strikes from both facing left and right is standard practice. For onehanded sword users tho, it is harder to argue.
Actually, if you count sectoral heterochromia(different colors within one iris) and central heterochromia(a different color around the pupil), you can add several more characters to the heterochromia list! Venti and Diona(both most noticeable in-game), Eula, Ganyu, Shenhe, Kokomi, Tighnari, Sethos, Kachina(this one depends on if you see the design of her eyes as an art style or actually being two different colors) and Mualani all have at least a little sectoral heterochromia, and you could make an argument for Kinich and Xilonen being in this group as well. Alhaitham and Wriothesley both have central heterochromia, and if you count the white ring around Gaming's pupils as part of his iris then he does as well. Clorinde, interestingly enough, has both- While her eyes are only shades of purple, they fade into a much brighter almost pink color at the bottom of her irises, and she has a violet ring around each of her pupils.
If we are already at useless facts. Here's a little detail about Keqing. I don't know if anyone ever noticed, but if you go to an edge and do her normal attacks, her 5th attack creates sparks/lightning under the floor. It's best visible on something like a pier, where you can see the underside of the floor.
I would love for you to make a second part of this video including some facts such as: - The ratio between cat vs dog eared characters - Characters with most vs least appearance on the game (including quests, events and other things) - How many characters have sweet dishes for their birthday dish vs how many have savory ones - Which colors are most common in characters - Weapon type that is the most common in general vs the least used And those are just some of the ideas that I could get from the tip of my head. Yet again, I would love to see a part 2 of this video!
It's hard to believe now, but in 1.0 Xiangling was the only polearm character. Claymores started with 5, but polearms now outnumber them (Mavuika will bring it back to a tie at 17).
I'm surprised you didn't mention how the first four archons were the first combinations of their weapon and element type - Venti was the first anemo bow, Zhongli was the first geo polearm, Raiden Shogun the first electro polearm, and Nahida the first dendro catalyst. Furina could have been the first hydro claymore, but presumably this was ditched because it's impossible to make a character look graceful and delicate while heaving a hunk of metal heavier than their own body mass.
7:50 Qiqi also swaps hands with her sword mid swing very easily Not only are her attacks very calculated and angled but they also have great force in every swing Compare how Yaoyao attacks to how Qiqi attacks for example and you’ll realise how insanely strong Qiqi is for a child I love visual detail like that
The whole glasses thing could actually make a hell of a lot of sense. All 4 of the characters that have actual glasses deal with professions that would require good eyesight. Sucrose and Emily both deal with Alchemy, Xianyun is a Tinkerer, and Baizhu is a doctor.
I know you were talking specifically about glasses but technically Charlotte is wearing a corrective lens with her monocle which would still bring the number of corrective lens wearers over the number of people wearing eye patches like you stated in the video (since as many people have already pointed out you forgot Fischl)
also speaking of combinations, there are a lot of little girl character models like klee and yaoyao, but no little boy characters, it would be so fun if itto's gang had a mischievous little member, or if freminet was just a child that lyney and lynette adopted as their little brother in the house of hearth
One thing most bow units lack is an arm guard and a breastplate which in my experience is the more important than the finger tab that's at least for me because getting hit by the string hurts like hell and my fingers haven't really hurt durning archery.
Actually! Eyes function like a muscle, and you strengthen it by using it (shifting focus to things close and far away), and spending a lot of time in the sun is linked to having better eyesight (discounting things like age), so it is possible that - considering how the characters in the game spend their time compared to us - this is a reasonable percentage of people who need glasses!
The thumbnail got my attention the only glasses character i skipped was baizu for furina but it’s kinda weird we slowly getting more eye patchs than eyewear and about characters being right or left handed it feels random due to posses unless it’s hidden lore
I now realized I can make a bad mono hydro team with medium height females. I don't know what I am going to do with this information but it has been noted.
I'm pretty happy with the way it turns out. I don't like uniformity all over the place, and I'm okay with some over-representation or missing combinations here and there. For example, you might think Heizo is redundant, but he is so fun to play I'm more than willing to let it slip.
For archery, having taught it before, remember that Vision Holders are significantly stronger and more durable than regular people. I honestly don't think bowstrings will hurt them much.
Furina makes sense why she has heterochromia because she's an automaton and it represents her lordship over Pneuma and Oshia. Actually, did Focalors have heterochromia? Might be interesting to check.
Furina is ambidextrous, not left handed. If you check all of her animations, she eats with her right hand, charge attack with her right hand while holding her hat with her left hand, normal attack with her left hand, snaps her right hand fingers when casting her skill while holding the weapon in her left hand. It's got to do with her backstory in acting.
2:33 as of yesterday just before the new year... Not so much. But that's a debate of what you consider a certain 2 characters rarity and element to be.
Its said that visions increase their physical attributes, so thats why most of the bow users dont need to use hand protection. Also in terms of lore they rarely even shoot at all, aside from practice, which they all already perfected. Hell in the manga Amber throws stones instead of using her bow and it is enough for most of regular enemies. Most of vision playable characters probably dont even use their weapons for the most part seeing how skillfull and powerfull they are
7:14 idk but i think furina uses her left hand bc in preformances and stuff the left hand is holding the staff that she uses bc its not rlly used if your right handed, and the right hand for other stuff and since furinas weapon is technacly a staff and she dosent know how to fight well she uses her left hand instead, srry if i was bad at explaining and i heard this from another content creator (i forgo who) but this is what atleast think. (idk why i thought of this but i have nothing against left handed ppl)
If we want to talk about fun facts so far of the playable regions Inazuma is the only region to not have a dragon* associated with it. Dvalin, Azhdaha (some will argue he’s not a dragon but some will do I’ll include him) or Adepti Rex Lapis, Apep, Nuevillette and the Pyro sovereign in Natlan (I don’t know its name and wouldn’t want to offend the cultures represented by spitballing a name)
Why no glasses? Cuz they ain't got no screens lol. And my research showed yeas it went up but from 30% to 50% so apparently yeah the top comment is correct lol.
fun fact: heterocromia(don't know how to write) it's not exactly one eye of each color, but, have more then one color in the eyes, like, you have blue eyes, but surround your pupil is brown(I have already meet someone like this), so in that case, A LOT of character have heterocromia

I think it's crazy that there are only 2 three stars polearm, and only one of those can be obtained via gacha
I can name 3. The Halberd, White Tassel, Black Tassel.
also lumine only uses her left hand for normal attacks
Electro is missing a 4 star Polearm, if only Sethos didn’t have a bow ;-;
If we are already at useless facts. Here's a little detail about Keqing. I don't know if anyone ever noticed, but if you go to an edge and do her normal attacks, her 5th attack creates sparks/lightning under the floor. It's best visible on something like a pier, where you can see the underside of the floor.
Fun video! Hope you make something similar again sometime in the future!
I would love for you to make a second part of this video including some facts such as:
- The ratio between cat vs dog eared characters
- Characters with most vs least appearance on the game (including quests, events and other things)
- How many characters have sweet dishes for their birthday dish vs how many have savory ones
- Which colors are most common in characters
- Weapon type that is the most common in general vs the least used
And those are just some of the ideas that I could get from the tip of my head. Yet again, I would love to see a part 2 of this video!
It's hard to believe now, but in 1.0 Xiangling was the only polearm character. Claymores started with 5, but polearms now outnumber them (Mavuika will bring it back to a tie at 17).
Some bows in genshin are stringless...
Cyno get back to your bed 🗣
remember when xiangling was the only polearm and ever since there’s a 50% chance every new chatacter is a polearm
Version 4.2 showed us why NOT to wish for a Hydro Claymore
?
@@icxun1035 Focalors is a hydro claymore
@@tTaseric you mean furina?? babe shes a sword user.
@@icxun1035 you missed the joke
@@IAMQUIX what, focalors' execution?
5:28 or they don't have screens to stare at 24/7 ruining their eyesight
To be fair, the drop distance on those bows that I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t need anything in their hands lol
Something small to notice is that the playable characters with glasses are exclusively Anemo and Dendro characters
Its kinda funny how the characters with prescription glasses has either a light green color or teal
7:50 Qiqi also swaps hands with her sword mid swing very easily
Not only are her attacks very calculated and angled but they also have great force in every swing
Compare how Yaoyao attacks to how Qiqi attacks for example and you’ll realise how insanely strong Qiqi is for a child
I love visual detail like that
Now I need someone to count all NPCs who wear glasses
Bro i want good ratio
The whole glasses thing could actually make a hell of a lot of sense.
All 4 of the characters that have actual glasses deal with professions that would require good eyesight.
Sucrose and Emily both deal with Alchemy, Xianyun is a Tinkerer, and Baizhu is a doctor.
I know you were talking specifically about glasses but technically Charlotte is wearing a corrective lens with her monocle which would still bring the number of corrective lens wearers over the number of people wearing eye patches like you stated in the video (since as many people have already pointed out you forgot Fischl)
also speaking of combinations, there are a lot of little girl character models like klee and yaoyao, but no little boy characters, it would be so fun if itto's gang had a mischievous little member, or if freminet was just a child that lyney and lynette adopted as their little brother in the house of hearth
freminet's personality and emotional bond to pers would also make much more sense as a sensitive and shy kid
One thing most bow units lack is an arm guard and a breastplate which in my experience is the more important than the finger tab that's at least for me because getting hit by the string hurts like hell and my fingers haven't really hurt durning archery.
Qiqi has a sword swing with her left hand!
I want more of these, PLEASE
Bennett is no longer alone. We have Pyro Traveler now.
GTA6 before Hydro Claymore
the extra silly part about our 4 characters with glasses is how 3 out of 4 are catalyst users, belonging only to dendro and anemo
I guess contacts are really popular in Teyvat, which makes sense when all characters you get are fighters..
All the Glasses wearers are either Anemo or Dendro if you don’t count Dori or Navia
The thumbnail got my attention the only glasses character i skipped was baizu for furina but it’s kinda weird we slowly getting more eye patchs than eyewear and about characters being right or left handed it feels random due to posses unless it’s hidden lore
2:53 n 4 of those hydro catas r medium height females w Neuvi being the only exception
I think someone saw the fanart of Kaeya and The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles from years ago...
It's funny how all 4 of the glasses wearing characters are some kind of Green
I have been playing this game for 4 years and said to my self: yeah... their isn't a geo bow I totally forgot about gorou
What a great video!!
I love little facts like this
2:33 as of yesterday just before the new year... Not so much. But that's a debate of what you consider a certain 2 characters rarity and element to be.
Ok but we are still missing hydro claymore even after Fontaine into natlain 😅
my genshin oc is a hydro claymore from liyue,,,i made her in 2021! insane that we havent gotten one yet
Still no hydro claymore and we might get our 2nd hydro polearm in the future
Its said that visions increase their physical attributes, so thats why most of the bow users dont need to use hand protection. Also in terms of lore they rarely even shoot at all, aside from practice, which they all already perfected. Hell in the manga Amber throws stones instead of using her bow and it is enough for most of regular enemies. Most of vision playable characters probably dont even use their weapons for the most part seeing how skillfull and powerfull they are
we probably gonna get hydro claymore in Snezhnaya.
As of version 5.2, Bennett is the only sword pyro character.
the racoon's so cute XD
3:02 n all those electro bows r 4 stars, still no 5 stars. Meanwhile hydro has 3 bows that r all 5stars wtfffs
1:55
roses are red and AR 60 has been hit,
yet every character I pull is Electro- I call bullshit.
(idk why i thought of this but i have nothing against left handed ppl)
fun fact (that i dont find fun). candace is the only damn 4 star hydro character added since 1.0. that only makes 3, barbara candace and xingqiu..
2:34 travelers ther pyro now
If we want to talk about fun facts so far of the playable regions Inazuma is the only region to not have a dragon* associated with it.
As far as I remember there was indeed a dragon, but it was slain by Raiden
Please hoyo bless me with a blade rerun I pray and I beg everyday till the day I get to have my glorious king Blade
HATS !
Inazuma is the only nation where nobody wears them - until they gave Kirara that Navia-wannabe outfit.
if furina being left handed isnt a sign were meant to be then idk what is
Why no glasses? Cuz they ain't got no screens lol. And my research showed yeas it went up but from 30% to 50% so apparently yeah the top comment is correct lol.
fun fact: heterocromia(don't know how to write) it's not exactly one eye of each color, but, have more then one color in the eyes, like, you have blue eyes, but surround your pupil is brown(I have already meet someone like this), so in that case, A LOT of character have heterocromia
You included Aloy a character that will never return. She is like an event weapon
We still dont have electro, anemo, and hydro shielder 😂😂
