This is a great channel . Love hair metal, and proud of that. Aporeciate your hard work and knowledge of rock albums. I always learn something new. Rock on to all my fellow old rockers like me.
YES!! So glad to learn that you're planning to make 'Glam Metal Gems' an ongoing series! Only one of these I have is 'Saints and Sinners' -- really good. Version I own has a close-up of their name (scratched in the car's paint) on the cover. Wonder if Dodge (who built the Viper) wanted $$$ for their car being featured on the cover? Can't wait for more gems! THX, Brendon!
I have those albums that I loved in junior high that weren’t the big ones . Faster Pussycat Wake Me When It’s Over , Bulletboys Freakshow , Shotgun Messiah Second Coming , LA Guns Hollywood Vampires and The Four Horsemen Nobody Said it Was Easy .
Great video Brendon. Got all these apart from Surrender Dorothy which is hard to find at a reasonable price. My Saints & Sinners CD has a different cover plain red with the band name, never tried Aldo Nova and didn't realise he had a similar sound. Having seen your video I checked completed listings on Ebay and a copy of S Dorothy sold for £15 in the UK on 7th Feb! Shame but the hunt continues 😄
Thanks Brendon, more of this series would be much appreciated. I'm sure there are loads I have missed. Current CD spin purchase is Madam X - We Reserve The Right. Not bad US Glam metal at all 😁
Yes Saints and sinners a gem with Rick Hughes still listening to it often. Another gem is another canadian band Killer Dwarfs Dirty Weapons album in 1990. Good job Brandon have a nice Day.
Thank you for yet another fine video Brendon. It’s fun when you come up with Norwegian bands I didn’t even know of. And the psycho Motel connection? Awesome! Adrian Smith is by far my favorite Iron Maiden member and his songs are the ones I sit and listen to before all the others, as he, like me, is a huge history buff! Your videos and output is awesome now. Inspires me. I haven’t dared filming myself yet but I’ve started talking in my unboxing videos. Mind you, last night I made one about the Last Waltz, looked at it and saw I had basically filmed 8/10 of empty space… So, yeah… have to do it all over again 🙄
I have the Saints & Sinners and the War Babies, too. My War Babies CD is also a "cut-out" with the hole punched through the barcode, haha! Great info from you, interesting and meticulously researched as usual!
Awesome! Recently discovered Glam metal/melodic rock band Frontline. First album The State of Rock is really good. Btw Sir which is your fav Deep Purple album?
One to seek out is the 1990 self-titled debut by an American band called American Angel. Heard a song on local college radio in ‘90 and immediately bought the album. The songwriting was among the best of the subgenre and the band was lighter on the cheese than most of their contemporaries. Check out the tracks “How Can I Miss You” or “Lonely Brown”.
Saints and sinners is by far the best album out of the ones you have shown in my opinion I like the war babies album and sons of angels but saints and sinners is so good highly recommend I also love watching your videos really good content keep up the good work
Saints & Sinners is such an awesome album. Maybe from beginning to end the best hard rock album I’ve ever heard! I know that is a big claim but it is so great! Shame they only had 1 album!
During the Cinderella "Still Climbing" tour, they would encore with a cover of "Jumping Jack Flash" and a woman named Debbie Davis would join them onstage. I wonder if it's the Witness singer? 🤔
Hi Brendon, I hope you are doing well. I have a suggestion. What about a video ranking the Jethro Tull albuns? I think that it will be interesting given that the band is active for a long time and it has many different phases (Blues Rock, Prog, Hard Rock, etc.). I would love to see your view on these albuns! Best regards, Fernando
Maybe I should look some glam metal bands. I haven't been listening that stuff lately so much. Though that new remix of Hanoi Rocks I'll order. mr. Finglish (Bäd English Recs)
What do you mean an “actual” Glam Metal band. The ones I listed aren’t actual Glam Metal bands? I would argue that Crashdiet isn’t a glam metal band since they formed in 2000 and are from a revival era. 🤷♂️
I have all these cds and even lps (if it was released on lp) but i never consider sons of angels, surrender dorothy, witness, tangier, war babies the glam metal. They aren't glam metal, they are melodic hard rock bands, the part of hair metal just like the glam metal is part of 80s hair metal too
Dude… I haven’t heard the name “Three Fish” in probably 20 years!! Man… your musical knowledge is incredibly impressive 😂
More bands to check out, cheers for info, Brendon.
I’m trying to load you up!
Brendon, your content is getting better and better. Keep on keepin’ on!
Thanks! Glad to hear you’re enjoying it so much!
These are some great hidden gems. Thank you! Keep up the great work!
Glad you’re enjoying these Scott! A new episode will post on Thursday!

Yeah that’s the point, these are under the radar gems they won’t be easy to find but when you do they will be worth it!
Thanks Brendon, more of this series would be much appreciated. I'm sure there are loads I have missed. Current CD spin purchase is Madam X - We Reserve The Right. Not bad US Glam metal at all 😁
The picture of the albums at the end is a nice touch.
I will keep it going then! 👍
Sons of Angels and Tangier (esp the second one). Good finds brother! I like it so far 👍
Yeah I love them both! Always wished Tangier would reunited.
I think a little gem band was Trouble Tribe..Right at the end of the glam period. Like a tattoo was a good jam.
That whole album is a gem! 😎🎵🎸
Yes I have them too and agree. Plus I love the album cover which I featured in my last Controversial Album Covers video.
great episode, & thank u for the album pic at the end, makes it much easier to screen shot so i can go "hunting" ...'priciate it bro
You’re very welcome!
Your music room looks amazing! I've been on break and haven't seen the final version. Nice!
Cool! Glad you’re finally able to see the final version. It was a long time coming and I’m glad to finally be able to use it.
Great recommendations, thank you!
My pleasure! 👍
Thank you great video series
You’re welcome John! I’m glad you’re enjoying it.
You included some great stuff that I plan to check out!
Thanx for the info about Sons of Angels' 2nd album. I didn't know it had been released.

Love these little known Glam bands. I picked up Witness when it came out, good CD.
👍
Yeah that Witness CD was very hard to get, I ended up with a re-issue but would like a 1st pressing on CD.
Slumber with the Lion VERY hard to come by but great as well!!
Yeah I’m glad I’ve got it in my collection.
I love the obscure glam metal albums
Me too! It’s my goal to collect as many obscure Glam Metal albums as I can find 👍

I did let those Tangier albums go and regret it but the Rock Candy re issues are hard to get after brexit 😮
Sorry to hear. Hope you can track them down eventually.
Hey Brendon, you should really do some more ranking shows! I think that would be awesome!
Top 10 countdown videos don’t count as ranking? ua-cam.com/video/uUtn7MpesyQ/v-deo.html
The production of Saint & Sinners is out of this world. Such a underground classic 🙌🏻🎸
Takin’ My Chances - Lesson of Love - are two superb party songs.
I agree!

Saints & Sinners is such an awesome album. Maybe from beginning to end the best hard rock album I’ve ever heard! I know that is a big claim but it is so great! Shame they only had 1 album!
For me it’s really just an Aldo Nova album since he is all over it. I think it’s what elevates it in my mind.
During the Cinderella "Still Climbing" tour, they would encore with a cover of "Jumping Jack Flash" and a woman named Debbie Davis would join them onstage. I wonder if it's the Witness singer? 🤔
Could be! Maybe Witness was the opening act.

I don’t own them all yet in order to do a proper ranking.
@@BrendonSnyder Thanks for the reply Brendon! All the best, Fernando.
Witness album is awesome. Have to check out the Saints & Sinners album.
👍
I thought I was the only person in the world who had Sons of Angels. Thank you.
I have it on vinyl.
That cover for Saints & Sinners is the Canadian issue the US issue has a different cover without the car on it.
How come you no longer do videos with Anthony from Sound Exchange?
Just filmed and posted one on Monday
Do you own the blue tears album from 1990
Yes. Such a good album!
Nice shirt I like Cinderella band
Thanks! Nothing beats original shirts from back in the day.
Maybe I should look some glam metal bands. I haven't been listening that stuff lately so much. Though that new remix of Hanoi Rocks I'll order.

Hi Brendon, I recommend you an actual Glam metal band Crashdiet. thanks for your video.

@@BrendonSnyder I was referring to bands s. xxi Brendon ok, forgive me my english.
Ok it just sounded strange I guess the way it was written. But as long as you’re enjoying things that’s all that matters! 👍
@@BrendonSnyder Ok Brendon, Im from spain, forgive my english
How much would you sell your entire collection for right now??
I wouldn’t

Tattoo Rodeo
Love their debut album. It will probably make the list one day.
