Star Wars: Squadrons is a space combat game set in the Star Wars universe developed by Motive Studios and published by Electronic Arts. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 2, 2020. The game's plot takes place after the Battle of Endor, and centers on two fighter squadrons: the New Republic's Vanguard Squadron, and the Galactic Empire's Titan Squadron.

Yup! He was in Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader as well.
It's amazing how Scott Lawrence either sounds really good (Fallen Order) or completely off (Squadrons) in his Vader appearances.
Do you prefer him over Matt Sloan?
@@legowar177 I think he's better than Matt Sloan when they don't mess up the filter on his voice, plus he sounds more like James Earl Jones. But Sloan is more consistent. I think it has more to do with the vocal effects though.
@@_TheDayman it's also possible that due to pandemic, they may not be able to record in real studios, but have to use their own home studio. lot's of games released this year has had noticeable voice quality drop
@@_TheDayman I personally think Matt Sloan sounds closer to Earl Jones's Vader than anyone else. :) But you're right, the vocal effects are wonky with both him and Scott. Scott Lawrence's Vader just sounds too deep, and not as fluid enough to sound like James. But I respect your opinion, they're all great. :D

I’m glad they got Vanessa Marshal to return to voice Hera Syndulla since I remember her from Star Wars Rebels. It’s good to see Denis Lawson return to voice Wedge Antilles since he’s still a fan favorite character. And it’s a surprise to see James Arnold Taylor since mostly every knows him for voicing Obi Wan Kenobi during the 2008 TCW.
Robin Atkin Downes voiced Cham Syndulla, Hera's father in both The Clone Wars and Rebel played Colonel Gralm, that was also a surprise for a clone wars fan like me.
Also James did Obi Wan in the 2003 Clone Wars, just a fun fact ;)

When I first heard Grey I knew I recognized the voice but didn't know from where. It wasn't until a few missions later that I realized it was Charles lol.

Considering how Todd Haberkorn voiced slimy baddies like Jadeite in Sailor Moon and Oberon from Sword Art Online, I could picture him voicing an Imperial or First Order baddie.

Misty Lee did a great job voicing Princess Leia Organa!
I like that Grey has what looks like a blue scarf around his neck which is a nod towards the German Luftwaffe in WW2 used to clean their goggles.

One of Imperial Pilots is Todd you know the voice actor who has done voicing multiple anime characters from Funination like Natsu (Fairy Tail), Obito (Naruto Shippuden) and many of then.

i have been a casual overwatch player for 4 year, its always cool to see voice cast from the game branched off to another project. in addition to having Jen Cohn, Keith Silverstein and Darin De Paul also were in overwatch.

2 things that disappoint me tbh:
-Vader's voice sucks balls
-I was hoping Iden Versio from Battlefront 2 would make an appearance.
Scott Lawerence doesn’t sound that bad as Darth Vader imo. He was chosen for Jedi Fallen Order to. But for Iden Versio she had other things to do within the galaxy & she chose to raise her child Zay while Del Meeko was working.
I think the va for vader got his speech pattern right but his voice is too deep imo

Yup & it was surprising. But James Arnold Taylor has been doing voice acting for 30yrs. And he’s done voices like Johnny from the tv show Johnny Test.

@@jackietang3789 honestly, not sure if I'll say right, but it is simply not working for me. The story, characters etc., sure graphics are good, but couple of "blinking" lights are not going to cut it for me.
