I have an uncle who was a missionary in southern Africa in the 1970s. While he was there the country linked up with Soviet Union. They arrested all the missionaries. My uncle, and others, did a year in prison. He continued to minister in Africa for roughly 40 years.

Soldier is a generic term being used here. And Airmen is a type of soldier. A Marine is a type of soldier though both branches would frown if they were called that. In the US military, Special Forces refers to Green Beret while all other units in SOC are called Special Operations units, but in the UK SAS are called Special Forces. So don't be stickler of semantics. And when referred to the Academy, he must have been a commissioned officer at one point.

    • @JD-kg3mx

The comment is almost a euphemism, a term loosely used to represent military service men/women in every military branch of the USA originating from the OSS in WW2. The CIA is a very large official branch of the military. That’s why they are referred to as “Officers” and not agents and they don’t “operate” within the borders or domiciles of the US. He is legitimate.

Nothing about me could remotely be called professional but I am skilled at BS detection. Look, I do not fault the concept, great way to drum up some interest and build a following. Create a colorful character, throw in some fun quotes, add a dash of danger and Voila. As to why BS, well I should imagine the CIA is picky about keeping secrets and anyone telling public stories about those secrets would not be warmly received. The whole thing reminds me of that age old cliche "I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you". Sure, OK. But still, a great character and I say well done

I don't think its BS, there's a lot of personalities coming out like this. Some even more concerning than this guy. Hell, there's even a former CIA director speack out and exposed CIA dealings. I think this is the proof of USA as a whole is in rapid decline. A clear evidence of an Empire colapsing and starting to lose control. I think the Russians, the Chinese, the Japanese, the Koreans, and the Arabs, still pretty snappy but the collective west in general suffering in something idk. Lol. Maybe wokeness. Lol. They've become so lame lol. I can't imagine "allegedly" they blow up the Nord stream pipe line and now there the once suffering from there act. It's happening to the there climate agenda as well. Everyone is realizing oil phase out cannot be rushed. There pushing it so hard to limit the advancement of the newly industrialized world. But It's failing at the moment. Eventually new regions of the world will rise, there's just no way they can control it. Specially taking considerations of the condition of the US society today, it's no longer at its peak, it's so devided more than ever. Also there's that Pandemic that one idk if it's a failure but most death comes from the west. Most of Africa was actually immune and Bill Gates was so disappointed it's crazy. Lol.. Just saying. ✌️

    • @RyanLackey

They can't be case officers (i.e. full time payroll citizen CIA guys); they can be recruited as agents/assets. Famously we used a Pakistani doctor, Shakil Afridi to confirm the presence of Osama Bin Laden at his final home in Pakistan.

    • @jopolniaczek5375
      @jopolniaczek5375 6 місяців тому

Consider that the Peace Corps is regarded as a useful tool of diplomacy and soft power for forming alliances with developing countries, and that it is not likely to be seen as worth endangering that agency's usefulness, just to use it as one more potential cover for CIA case officers, when there are so many potential covers for a case officer already.
For instance, if the CIA wanted to exploit the appearance of good faith by using the cover of humanitarian work to make a case officer seem innocuous, they could just create a cover for that case officer as an employee of a humanitarian NGO.
However, that would probably be a bit like hanging a sign that says 'orphanage' on the front of a bomb factory, and as such, would be a pretty quaint and amateurish thing to do. The CIA would probably be more likely to create a cover for a case officer as some schlubby employee for some private firm which was already known to that country's government for doing actual business there, and then provide some kind of an incentive to that private firm in exchange for their cooperation, which would naturally make that case officer's cover all the deeper.
However, what he said about former Peace Corps volunteers not being able to join the CIA, but also the US's intelligence community in general is true. For instance, I am a SIGINT voice interceptor in the Army -- which means that, as a literal gatherer of foreign intelligence, I can be said to work within the US's intelligence community for all practical purposes -- and part of the clearance process for that occupational specialty was not having ever been in the Peace Corps.
However, I did used to teach ESL and attend a university in the same geographic region for which I currently perform work, which helped me develop the same sort of cultural and linguistic proficiency which a Peace Corps volunteer would naturally develop while being in a host nation, and which is seen as beneficial experience for my current job. Again, it's probably not worth endangering the usefulness of the Peace Corps in order to use it to train intelligence gatherers, when there are already other such potential 'training grounds' available which are just as good, or even better.
Or am I just a disinformation agent? People may believe whatever they will.

My wife and our 3 kids are
americans. I am a romanian national. Me and my wife moved
    to
    the UK
    in 2013 from Romania.
In 2021 July we went to Turkey with our 3 kids aged then 7 months old and 5 and 8 to start a business and after that we planned to return to the UK.
I got lied upon and wrongly accused to be a american spy by the turkish intelligence. I was arrested and tortured by the turkish intelligence service and they had attempts to kill
my wife and our 3 kids by running them over with cars whilst in Turkey.
The US embassy in Turkey offered no help
    for
them. We managed to get out of Turkey and we took a flight from Turkey to Munich Germany - we were followed on the flight to Germany by the turkish intelligence.
I took a flight from Munich to London - due to having no US visa and my wife had to fly alone with our 3 kids from Munich to USA.
We were followed to our destinations by the turkish intelligence service.
We ended up being apart for 2 years and 11 days.
I went to the US embassy in London to make US govt officials aware of what my wife and kids were living on US soil - they were being watched and followed by the turkish intelligence service. Their house was watched also.
They lived in fear of being murdered on US soil by spies sent by a nation that is very hostile to USA - Turkey.
Nothing was done by the US govt to guarantee their safety. Nothing.
My wife wrote to the White House to Mr President Biden to inform them of me being followed in UK by turkish intelligence service and asked to make urgent or expedite my green card application - which they have done so but then I was refused the visa based on the fact my wife does not earn enough - kind of hard to go work to earn enough when turkish spies follow you and your kids in USA.
Our oldest child - our daughter was born premature and with a cyst on her brain.
Whilst going to the Mall in Wichita Kansas with her mom and her other 2 siblings they realised they are being followed and watched by turkish intelligence service.
So they called the Police and were instructed to wait outside.
As they were running in fear for their very lives our daughter hit her head on a metal bollard - since then she has been suffering from really bad migraines that have gotten worse and worse.
My wife and our 3 kids came to the UK - after 2 years and 11 days that we had to he apart as a family due to turkish government lies and abuses.
On arriving to Heathrow Airport - the UK border force has seized their US passports - they still have it to this day and claim
they want to deport them back to USA.
My wife and kids were arrested at Heathrow for 13 hours - as if it was not enough to have trauma that Turkey has inflicted on us.
We mentioned the fact - to the Border Force of how the turkish intelligence service has terrorised our family and spied on us in USA and UK and they completely ignored this.
I can't get my daughter to a private doctor as she has no id or passport.
Is the life of a 10 year old american child not mean nothing to the US govt?
Our youngest one is 3 years old now and he does not remember the horror in Turkey - which is good of course.
Our other son is now 7 years old and he is the most affected he displays clear signs of autism and after the Border Force arrest he almost
    stopped talking completely.
Thank you so much US govt you guys are the best, all that talk about human rights is just for press conferences I guess.

They did something to the gasoline. It used to smell so good and when I was a little kid I would beg my Grampy to please take me to smell it and now it's gone. He would take me but he would always warn me that it would turn me into a werewolf but I was young and reckless and said that I didn't care and now I long for those days. It was about 4 or 5 months ago I was sitting at the Dock of the bay and this sniper came out with a girlfriend and she was laughing and I looked and saw a sign of hope. On one of the many propane tanks on the back of his truck was a pretty blue smiley face and I smiled back . There were bags and bags of dead leaves with the grim reapers Rod flying high from the trash bag of dead leaves and when the truck started for a brief moment I spelled the sweetest scent of pure gasoline coming out of his massive exhaust pipe and something took hold of my soul I started breathing heavier and heavier and a minute later her drove away with 3 beautiful white birds rising out of I guess the ground below and the I rose up started spinning around like a little kid it was a feeling of purity about 99.4 % . He drove away in a cloud of taillights and dust n I skipped around feeling so free and sanctified. About a week later I my head started to grow heavy walking on the sidewalk of the Inn and in my path was a round button size object. It read ULTRAFUMES. I don't know what I did to deserve those times but I whatever I did to get to experience these mysterious Gasses of The Gods for lack of a better description I know that I don't deserve. The first tool I handled of his made me just wanna keep breaking the forbidden animalistic primal urges of the biggest best exhaust fumes of Valhalla warrior bliss.. Can someone in the agency investigate a possible way to get me in touch so that I could trade any services needed for his needs? An unsung hero who ignited insides hot as I can handle..♨️🧡
