It's my first time flying with frontier and man I really got to say they really do nickel and dime you. I see a charge just to speak with an attendant at the desk.
Actually it’s $20 for speaking with an Frontier attendant & higher if you don’t prepay before you go to the airport. I’m a ball of stress flying with them tomorrow & already my flight, one piece of luggage, picking a seat came to $485. I’m so nervous about tomorrow. I also have no carry on I’m taking.
You have a great channel. You’re very knowledgeable and helpful. I’m traveling from Houston to Denver in July. The flight I booked is only allowing one Personal Carryon. I think it’s 13 by 18 by 8. The last time I flew with Frontier was in 2010. They weren’t that strict back then. Packing my carryon for a week is going to be like stuffing cow in a Volkswagen.
If I want to check in a handgun to go in the belly of the airplane can I pay the fee when booking my flight as a checked bag? Or do I need to pay the fee in the airport with the airline?
Im flying Frontier for the first time from a destination Wedding in Mexico in the coming weeks. I went ahead and paid luggage/ assigned seating, insurance in case of flight cancelling upfront to help give me a "Peace Of Mind" since I'm Delta Sky Member and normally know everything upfront.. Prices are out of control right now since more and more persons are traveling with a reduction in Pandemic/ Covid cases. Plus Delta has limited of Departures leaving on the day which im leaving.Im looking forward in flying Frontier since I've been informed to stay away from Spirit / Volaris... Any opinions I should be aware of. Thanks in advance for sharing.

I flew recently with frontier and let me tell you it was great Dallas to Ontario California many complaints about seat but since I’m 5’7 300 pounds I had no problem at all just on the way back the seat was different no leg room so for a tall person it would be i little issue but other than that great flight I posted both videos and I’m flying back tomorrow to California
If your backpack is under 18 x 14 x 8 inches it will count as a personal item on Spirit. You can bring a small backpack for free and you won’t need to pay extra for a carry-on bag. A larger backpack doesn’t count as your one personal item and Spirit will charge you additional fees.
To understand better. So what if i just have one luggage bag 🧳 under 35lbs. Could i have that bag with me on the plain without paying for that bag inside 🇺🇸 usa. Or would that be considered a carry on and pay. Thank you in advance!
@@Medi0metr0 Low Fare airlines like Frontier still charge for carry-ons. If you were to fly with the likes of American, United, Delta it would be free.
You know what KTM, I can answer that easily. Would you like to do a Skype interview asking your questions? This can help other people at the same time.
We need to do something about baggage fees free like before 2008. People quiet and pay, they going to take forever. Ticket price + baggage fees is not good. Even gas price low they still charged baggage fees. Because they knew people forgot about their promise.
If the backpack is 14 x 18 x 8 inches or smaller, it can be considered a personal item. If it is larger, it will be considered a carry-on bag, unless it exceeds the maximum size for a carry-on (24 x 16 x 10 inches) in which case it will be considered a checked bag
FRONTIER IS A RIP-OFF. I HAD A SMALL TO MEDIUM SIZE BAG THAT WEIGHED ONLY 20 POUNDS AND IT COST 70 DOLLARS TO FLY WITH IT AND 70 DOLLARS TO FLY BACK WITH IT. I NEEDED A WEEKS WORTH OF CLOTHES. THE WOMAN WORKING BEHIND THE COUNTER WAS SOMEWHAT RUDE AND ACTED LIKE SHE DID NOT WANT TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS, IF I ACTED THAT WAY AT MY JOB, MY BOSS WOULD FIRE ME. I WILL NEVER FLY THEM AGAIN.
LUGGAGE TIP: Tie two or three colored ribbons of different lengths around the handle to your luggage to warn others that this is not their luggage. People grab luggage at the turnstile and take it home before you ever see it. Anywhere you put your bag, it could be grabbed in error. Example: overhead compartment, unloaded from the bus, at the hotel lobby, at the turnstile... Use 1” wide ribbons 14” long. Cut the ends at 45 degrees then seal the end with one drop of Super Glue to prevent fraying. If each ribbon is slightly a different length by 1/2” or so, they will all show no matter how they drape. Tie the 3 ribbons as if it were one ribbon using a man’s half Windsor knot for the best look. After it is tied on, the total length of the ribbons will be about 5-6” from the handle. A longer ribbon shows up better. You can see it from 40 feet away. Perhaps tie two handles, top and side of the case. Put your phone number on one ribbon using a permanent Sharpie. Example: “Owner 454-333-7878” Choose one ribbon with an unusual pattern or fabric to really make it unique. Lay all 3 ribbons on top of one another. Then tie them with a half Windsor knot, same as a man uses. Stand by the output hole of the turnstile to reduce the chance of someone else grabbing the piece. Tie your skiies, duffel bag, and what ever with matching ribbons-even your computer case. If you are a Travel Agent, you could gold stamp one ribbon with your name and phone number. Send them a set of ribbons, red and blue and BLACK to your customer as a gift. Record this gift in your database so you don’t duplicate yourself. Buy a gold hot embossing machine. Gold emboss your business name on the BLACK ribbon. Put the customer’s name on it if possible. Pleasant color combinations: Red and blue Chartreuse and purple Orange and light blue Orange and yellow Gray and pink Green and yellow

Yes. That’s the business model of ultra low fare airlines.
