Later in the wee hours in the morning, i'll be heading to the airport for my flight to Houston on Frontier. I just got my email confirming that I need to check in but don't have the gate number. This is my first time flying on Frontier since normally i fly on Delta and Air Canada. I still haven't gotten my gate information but the issue is the last time I traveled. I checked at the Domestic Terminal at the Atlanta Airport. It turns out that I had to go all the way to the International Terminal for a domestic fight. If I knew ahead of time, I would have parked at the International Terminal, checked in and gotten to my plane. I almost missed my flight.
I suggest downloading the app and its more up to date when looking at your boarding pass.. it should give you the gate #.. or (it sounds silly but) you can google your flight number and google will tell you it's current information.. hope that helps!
@@travelandledger Hi, I already did download the app, got my boarding pass but as of now (especially on Google) The gate information hasn't been updated.
all you wanted was to go from A TO B. this is where the bait and switch begins. having commited to take the flight they bilk you at every point, counting on you to pay up or not go. that is their bread and butter. basically prepare for a rough ride bc they have removed all the extras to overcharge for them later. it's like putting up with a gauntlet throughout your journey.
The key is to just use the kiosk and pay everything ahead of time.. "everything" should just be your bag if you need to carry on or check.. but book bags can hold a lot for a 3 day stay and remember stuff like socks you can throw away for space for souveniers on the way back and you can always stop at a cvs and pick up your travel size items once you land and toss those when you leave too
Your take on the whys of flying these ULCCs is dead on. We fly these because we want money to use on the destination! So we travel with less and avoid the frills like a tiny bag of over salted snack mix and half a soda, and grab them before boarding. But, we also learn the limits and slide in under them.
FAA regulations mandate ashtrays in airplane lavatories. Although that won't save someone from a huge fine if they get caught lighting up in the lavatory.
One travel hack, is investing in a fisherman vest, with all it's pockets is perfect inorder avoid paying for a check bag 🛍️💰
hahahahahaha yessssssssss

I’m Active duty military never flew frontier, they give free check in bags, I’m wondering how do I go about that lol
I'm pretty sure for that you just go to the desk to see an agent and just have to show them your active status 👍 Easy breezy
So when I go see the agent to show them my military I.D. You think they will charge me for that lol. I forgot to ask that as well. Thanks in advance.

Are backpacks free?
yep!
Do you know if the bag drop process is the same for car seats?
I think you just check it like a checked bag
