A few years ago, I packed everything I needed in a personal bag for a three day trip, including my laptop. The best thing I did was use gallon sized ziplog bags for my clothing and was able to compress them to half their size. Buying toiletries at your destination can be cheaper than having to pay for the carry-on or checked bag charges. Even if you have to throw them away or donate to a good cause.
Yes! The ziplock bags are a great idea. Most of the time, the hotel or Airbnb I’m staying has the toiletries I need anyway, so it’s usually a waste of space 😆 Thanks for your comment! 💕
When I was in the Navy, they give you a bunch of bulky uniform items, along with a seabag, and everything's supposed to fit inside the seabag, which is the size of a large duffel, but it opens from one end. Rolling up everything was the only way to get everything to fit. Who says you can't put 10 pounds of flour in a 5-pound sack?
@@fabonadime Yes, especially considering I was in boot camp probably before your parents even met! And my daughter lives in France now, and we visit as often as we can! I enjoyed your video! Keep up the good work!
New sub! Great info video! I don't travel by flying often, but want to start do long trips camping out of my car, so these packing vids help with downsizing. And congrats on 100 subscribers (i know this was a while ago) I just started my channel about a month ago and will be excited if I ever hit 100 subs.
Thank you so much!! I love a good road trip, but it's really hard not to overpack. I've subbed back, so I can't wait to keep up with all your camping adventures 💕
Here's a link to the bag I use. I got it for free the last time I bought shoes from DSW! www.dsw.com/en/us/product/dsw-exclusive-free-quilted-weekender/515319
It all depends on the trip. If I do pack night clothes, they're usually really small and roll up into almost nothing. I like packing clothes I can dress up or down (like black jeans) so I have more options and less clothes to pack!
Didn’t feel like sharing those with the Internet. But they don’t take up too much room and I can usually stuff them in my shoes or in the sides of my bag!

That’s crazy! You must be an expert at packing now. When I finally started rolling up my clothes it made a huge difference.

Great job on the Wheel tonight, congratulations! Glad you got a lil promotion too, hope it helps! 👍
Thank you so much! What a crazy awesome experience 🎉
Packing cubes are my favorite! I'm an overpacker lol. These help limit how much I take on a trip.
I've never used the cubes, but everyone seems to love them!
Congratulations on 100 subscribers🎉
Thank you so much!
I like compression cubes
You still have so much room in your bag!!!
Right?? Sometimes I take up more room with my work stuff-audition attire & materials, laptop, etc. But there's always room!
1st time traveling can you take make in a personal bag along with power bank?

Do you not pack pyjamas/ night clothes or clothes if you go out at night somewhere nice.

Nothing new here.
Great, I'm glad you're well versed in the art of packing!
