Seeing the development of this game is utterly amazing. Your team makes Wolfquest an immersive experience with all the precise details, mechanics, research. I will never forget the what it was like playing Wolfquest for the first time back in the 2000’s. It made my childhood amazing because of how much I adored wolves. I look forward to seeing more updates all the time ❤

I can’t wait to check this out! I haven’t played in FOREVER but I think it’s time to add onto my 55+ hours. This is one of my favorite games I’ve ever played.
One thing I recommend that could be apart of the saga or another update is pups forming bonds with certain crows or the player forming a bond with a crow. I’m sure you guys know of the little friendship between wolves and crows. Your crow companion in game could lead you to food if the wind isn’t in your favor to find any and it can find farther away carcasses. It would be cute to see crows choose their pup companions and interact with them, and very helpful to find food in desperate times.
@@KittyKat-kq6uj It is actually! Crows will form bonds with pups or wolves. The crow will be able to spot food and herds, and the wolves hunt and kill the food. Then they share the meal. It’s sort of like a deal.
Man, ever since I started playing WolfQuest, when I originally got it on my iPad (which it didn’t run well) but I waited, and eventually I got a new iPad (that didn’t crash when I played it) I’ve stuck around ever since. Always trying to get any new dlcs as they come out, sometimes waiting a while, but man, I’m glad I’m here for the journey.
A note I've found in the near-week of playing this update now. (Besides the Pronghorns being a tad useless.) -Pups who chase one-another do not get lost, but there's still a problem. When a competitor comes near, you can have moments where you get waaaay too little time to react. I was playing with a deer-themed litter, and within 5 seconds of getting a Coyote challenger popup and barking to get my pups inside one of them had already been taken and killed. Way too little reaction time for a feature which the player can't control! I also have some minor suggestions as far as lost-puppies go. I think the tracks of a lost pup should have a different colour, as tracking from the Den is very difficult in big litters when one pup gets lost. I also think if you sleep when having a lost pup, those tracks shouldn't clear. That part is just frustrating! (I know typically it's a very dumb decision, but I was desperate for sleep.) I love the work you guys do!
LOVE what you've done with the game so far, and super excited for when it's finished! But, I do have to ask.. Will you add bison calves (or red dogs) in the game? Because all the other prey animals have babies, and I want to hunt baby bison! Also, will you add pups/kits/cubs to the predators? Like cougars, foxes, coyotes (I know bear cubs exist already).. If not, it's understandable. Keep up the great work devs!
Love all this so much! I always love to see new vegetation and animal behavior, it intrests me to learn about the animals and vegetation and I can't wait for more geology videos there awesome. Keeo up the good work and stay safe
Hey Wolfquest, Just a question, Will you be able to play through all of SC in find a mate, etc, etc in this update or somewhere soon? I'm pretty sure you guys mentioned being able to complete every raise pups and finding a mate in every map in one of your videos. I love your progression and it always brings a smile to my face. - somone who has played 2.5, 2.7 and 3.
Love this do you guys think that eventually WQ3 will be able to get played on devices like newer Xbox or newer phones like 13 and up? Just seeing if I need to save up my money for a PC to play this game 😂 Been waiting since I was in 6th grade and will be a senior this year been super pumped about this game proud of you guys and how hard you work it doesn’t go unnoticed!
Imo, Pronghorn speed definitely need tweaking. I can barely even catch the babies, and I made a +2 speed stat wolf just to try see one! They definitely shouldn't be food for everyone, but if it's hard to catch them to the point you simply shouldn't- even as a speed based wolf- it makes them useless and defeats the point. Another alternative is progressing the AI to have stamina for Pronghorns and/or other species- it'd make them much more viable to interact with and interesting for gameplay! But I see, if that's ever considered, that it'd be a later thing. Also, let me know if I'm struggling to hunt for any particular reason/if there's a way to do it! I know it's supposed to be hard, but I didn't think it's intended to be impossible.
Pronghorns are the fastest animals in the Americas so, yeah, they are very hard to catch. Wolves will not have much luck in flat-out chasing, in real life or in the game. Even the fawns can evade quite effectively, once they are ambulatory. Some players do seem to have some tactics that work, however, like using natural barriers or teamwork in MP to assist capture.
@@WolfQuestGame Oh I understand that, I just think from a gameplay perspective if it's THAT hard to ever even catch them that there's no point and they may as well of not been added- which is really sad, because I think they look awesome. I'd of preferred a new prey item I could actually interact with without jumping through as many hoops, if that makes sense? If there's no point interacting with something it may as well not be in the game. Especially since 90% of the time, when I'm playing, it's single player. I know the game prides itself on realism and I think that's really neat, but we already have so many things like the Bison and Moose which are hard to kill SP. The game isn't very SP friendly with it's content yet- albeit I know it's in development. I love the work you guys do, I just wish more of it was SP focused. It gets really boring chasing Elk over and over to raise pups just because they're the best possible thing to interact with. Hope you don't mind the critique, I don't mean it to come off ungrateful. I have a problem with literally nothing else this update except the borderline uselessness of Pronghorns.. I guess on the same note, we need more prey items which can 'easily' be caught.
We agree about adding animals that are most integral to wolf life which is why we started with elk, moose, and mule deer. Adult pronghorn and the upcoming bighorn sheep are not top prey, that is true, but lots of predators do eat the spring babies. Players seem to be figuring out how to catch the pronghorn, despite their speed. Perhaps using terrain and natural barriers to gain the advantage. Hopefully you will find some enjoyment in them, even if they just add some ambiance. We are planning on adding cow and calf bison, so that will provide some more options.
I really like wolfquest and these updates have been great, but i was wondering if you ever plan to add maybe a thirst bar or social bar or something of the sort? Wolves have more needs then just eating and sleeping, and often times between those actions i find the game can feel a bit empty. Just food for thought, im a big fan! : )
I believe it was covered in a previous devblog that they will not be adding thirst for gameplay reasons. A social bar already exists with pack affinity.
I have a question! is this the saga? btw i love this update, you guys have done so good! {Btw i am just wondering about the pups growing up into 1 year old to 2}
im very exited :D but will there be a time where you can wach your pups grow up, teach them to hunt and more and they can maybye stay in your pack when they turn e certan age or they can chose to become dispersals? because i look at the other wolf packs with like 7-10 mwmbwers and i feel so smol with my mate and me and no ther pack mates.
Could you pleae refine movements, especially changing direction ? Making them less abrupt ? And also speed acceleration and deceleration, too abrupt. It's really important for the enjoyability.
I should have shed a report or something when I saw it but didn’t, but one of the dens in Amethyst, high northwest tree den, appears pink while in winter
whenever I play wolf quest 3 on my iMac it doesn’t work and lags to the point where I can’t play it even though my iMac was made in 2019 can you guys fix the glitch please
So, weird thing happened when playing the open beta, I killed a doe elk, and that made the establish territory quest start, me and my mate were eating and I noticed this bull elk pop up beside the carcass, I stared at it for a minute cause it was just standing perfectly still. I saw my mate charge at it, then the bull elk started charging at him, and he ran around me in circles trying to get away from it for like 3 minutes, and it kept coming right up to me, but would just chase my mate. Is this a glitch?

This looks amazing. I can’t believe how far this game has come. I’ve been here since the old 2.7 and have been watching everything grow. I’m now finally able to comment tho.
I hope to one day share the magic of this game with my own children, teach them about the beauty of the environment and these irreplaceable creatures. I look forward to seeing more updates all the time ❤
Already downloading the beta from steam! So excited to see it! Keep up the great work!
WOOO! I’m traveling, so I won’t be able to be active on WolfQuest, but I am so EXCITED for this update! Wonderful job, this game is genuinely so amazing. My little brain cannot handle it. ❤
This update has been generating so much hype and anticipation and now it's finally here, I can't wait to play it!!
AHH this game is so immersive its incredible! looking forward to purchasing more to help yall devs!! ive been hoping for bigger meat chunks for a while!
Dang!!!! Imma be busy beta testing this!!! So cool!!! Huge thanks to the WolfQuest Devs.
thank you for all your continued work on wolfquest! looking forward to the new updates so much!
I can’t wait to check this out! I haven’t played in FOREVER but I think it’s time to add onto my 55+ hours. This is one of my favorite games I’ve ever played.
I’m so excited for the new Beta! Every step closer to the Saga and Tower falls gives me even more anticipation for them
I’m so excited to see something I grew up with get a new chapter in life ❤️ Thank you so much for all of your hard work
This is AMAZING! I'm so happy I bought this, and I will make sure to buy all DLCs to support this game even more
I cant wait! I have the game updating right now and im super excited to get into it and see everything!!
The howls are AMAZING! I’m getting goosebumps listening to them.
WQ Devs are some of the best game devs ever I mean really I have never seen this much dedication in my liiiiife
xd
Excited for the update! Love the new coyotes especially
That’s cute it just probably isn’t realistic 😥
@@KittyKat-kq6uj It is actually! Crows will form bonds with pups or wolves. The crow will be able to spot food and herds, and the wolves hunt and kill the food. Then they share the meal. It’s sort of like a deal.
@@Wolfnado aww!! Yay
I stopped my studying grind for this and it was so worth it! I’m beyond excited to try this later!! :D
A note I've found in the near-week of playing this update now.
(Besides the Pronghorns being a tad useless.)
-Pups who chase one-another do not get lost, but there's still a problem.
(I know typically it's a very dumb decision, but I was desperate for sleep.)
I love the work you guys do!
Excited for the new AI! Been really cool watching the development here. Awesome job all!
I saw the notification for a game update and immediately went to watch the video. This game somehow gets better every update lol
This game keeps getting better and better. This is ny absolute favourite game
I've looked forward to this for a while!!! I can't wait!
So many awesome updates!!! I love the new coyote model.
I’m so pumped rn!Will definitely be playing!
OMG I can't believe the updates here I can't wait to play❤❤❤❤❤
I always love seeing content from this game!
Yes, bison cows and calves are on our to-do list. We aren't working on more predator babies right now but they are on our maybe-someday wish list.
Love all this so much! I always love to see new vegetation and animal behavior, it intrests me to learn about the animals and vegetation and I can't wait for more geology videos there awesome. Keeo up the good work and stay safe
Hey Wolfquest,
Just a question,
Will you be able to play through all of SC in find a mate, etc, etc in this update or somewhere soon? I'm pretty sure you guys mentioned being able to complete every raise pups and finding a mate in every map in one of your videos.
I love your progression and it always brings a smile to my face.
- somone who has played 2.5, 2.7 and 3.
Did you see: "Where No WolfQuest Has Gone Before" to hear what's coming?

This is the best update that I think has ever come to wq 3 so far.
I can’t wait to see the new wolf stalk animation!
i cant wait for Android update for the game, you guys work so hard its so amazing and a beautiful game
Thanks so much!
We are only thinking about PC/Mac right now. Once the game is finished we will consider other platforms and see what makes sense.
@@WolfQuestGamehow long do you guys expect that you will be working on the game? What would make it feel “complete “
The biggest thing is finishing the Saga so the pups can grow up and your pack can continue.
Very excited to see all the new changes! ^w^
I knew something was telling me to wait before starting the game.. Everything is looking sooo cool I love it!!
AAAAAAA IM SO EXCITED!! Thank you for all the hard work!!❤❤❤
Have you guys thought about adding whitetail deer? Also I want to say wq has come so far and it's beautiful. Y'all are doing such a great job.
White tail deer would be awesome to see!
They are pretty rare in the Northern Range of Yellowstone.
Heck yeah! So excited to see the pronghorns!
I had a good feeling about today and this news is amazing
AAWWOOOOOO!!! Finally it’s here!!! We’re gonna have fun with this thing! >:)
So excited to play this!!!!, on the topic of emotes are we able to use tail emotes while howling??
I have a question! is this the saga? btw i love this update, you guys have done so good!
{Btw i am just wondering about the pups growing up into 1 year old to 2}
This is not the Saga. You can follow our progress on that as we post updates.
I wish wolfquest had more attention! They’ve got one of the best game devs out there as compared to games like the isle
Can you tell me which wolf Qeust because I wanna download it?
Updating the game right now! So excited!! 🤩
Ooh nice, I’ve been waiting for this beta!
im very exited :D but will there be a time where you can wach your pups grow up, teach them to hunt and more and they can maybye stay in your pack when they turn e certan age or they can chose to become dispersals? because i look at the other wolf packs with like 7-10 mwmbwers and i feel so smol with my mate and me and no ther pack mates.
Did you see: "Where No WolfQuest Has Gone Before" to hear what's coming?

@@WolfQuestGame oh im so sorry. i dint see that there
3:45 I have actually cought my mate wagging his tail laying down and it made me crack up laughing, the pups are so cute with the new animations!
Could you pleae refine movements, especially changing direction ? Making them less abrupt ? And also speed acceleration and deceleration, too abrupt. It's really important for the enjoyability.
OMG! So excited to play this!
Yayyyyyyyyyyyy I’m so excited for this and keep up the great work you guys!
Awesome! Can't wait to check this update out!
Hooray!!! Looks stupendular!
YOU ARE AMAZING WQ! SO AMAZING!
I'm happy with various sizes of meat chunks. It will make things a little easier when carrying a bigger amount of food to the den.
I should have shed a report or something when I saw it but didn’t, but one of the dens in Amethyst, high northwest tree den, appears pink while in winter
If you see that again, send an in-game bug report using F11.
AHHHHH!!!! I’m surprisingly early, and this so great!!!
WAIT WHAT? I THOUGHT THAT HAVING PUPS ON DIFFERENT MAPS WAS FAR AWAY OMG YWY
I was waiting all week for this update!!! 😆
Did the loading screen season change? Its so cute :)
Oh my gosh this all looks so amazing!
Help, I did the instructions but I can't copy the Wolf Quest Anniversary File
whenever I play wolf quest 3 on my iMac it doesn’t work and lags to the point where I can’t play it even though my iMac was made in 2019 can you guys fix the glitch please
If this happens again and you think it is a bug, use F11 to report.
